ParticipantHello, I’m using ECP 3.6. When I try to to view by a specific category, all events show up. If I switch the List or Photo view, only the events in that category show. I noticed this was a bug in 3.5 that was supposedly fixed in 3.6, but I’m still experiencing the issue. Any help is appreciated!

MemberHello codeforte,
Thanks for contacting us!
I’m not able to reproduce this on my system, category pages only show events from that category as expected.
Can you link to a forum thread or post where this bug was reported?
I’d like to see this on your site, but could not find the calendar at ‘/calendar’ or ‘/events’. Can you show me the link if it is public?
Cheers!

ParticipantSure thing. The link is:
http://orphansunday.org/map/
I’ve set the map view to be the default view. I’m using a custom page template called “Map” that is displayed on the events landing page. From there, I’ve used overrides for ‘tribe-events/pro/map.php’, ‘tribe-events/pro/map/content.php’, ‘tribe-events/pro/map/loop.php’, and ‘tribe-events/pro/map/single-event.php’.June 2, 2014 at 1:23 pm #199226Andrew
ParticipantAn example of a problem page/category would be:
http://orphansunday.org/map/category/kentucky/
This should only show one event for Kentucky, but instead, it’s showing all events.June 3, 2014 at 6:49 am #201007Casey D
MemberHello codeforte,
Is there a way I could see your template overrides? Could you zip them up and link them? You can use a private reply if they are proprietary.
I’ll look into the templates and see if there is a query conflict of some sort.
Can you expand on this part? Is there a thread somewhere that explained this bug?

ParticipantHello Casey,
By chance, have you been able to see anything within my template files that may show the problem? I’m hoping to get this fixed for my client in the very near future. I appreciate all your help! Thanks!June 4, 2014 at 3:58 pm #204792Casey D
MemberThanks for the info,
I took some time and talked to some members of the dev team and we weren’t able to find any conflicts.
Unfortunately the level of customization you are employing goes beyond the scope of the forums.
We recommend though that you try to isolate the problem, we believe it is from your custom theme. The problem may stem from the other ‘event’ cpt you are declaring in assets/cpt/events.php, but perhaps not.
Ultimately there is just too much customization here for us to properly assist you.
Sorry for the opaque answer and goodluck!

ParticipantThanks for your assistance, Casey. As luck would have it, I simply upgraded everything to 3.6.1 tonight and that appears to have fixed the issue. Go figure!
