MemberThanks for your patience.
Could I get some more info on this? Has it always been an issue or did it just change with an update?
Can you please confirm that after executing these combined steps in order, the problem still exists?
- Deactivate ALL plugins
- Change theme to Twentytwelve, Twentythirteen or Twentyfourteen
- Activate The Events Calendar and The Events Calendar Pro
- Save your permalinks in WP-Admin > Settings > Permalinks
If the problem still exists at that point, the data might be corrupt, but that seems very unlikely (or even irrelevant to the problem).
I’ll ask my team if they are seeing similar issues elsewhere, but this is the first I’ve heard of this problem.
Does this make sense? Let me know if this doesn’t work for you.
Cheers!

June 10, 2014 at 5:07 pm in reply to: How do i change the styles of the wootickets meta box? #217612Casey D
MemberI believe the best bet is to put your WooTickets CSS in the same CSS file as the other edits. You may need more specificity to override the current CSS.
I’ll ask a developer about moving the ticket box and answer tomorrow. I’m not sure it will be easy to do. Also, you may want to consider leaving it where it is, as it adopts a good information -> decision UX paradigm for the user.
Does this make sense? Let me know if this doesn’t work for you.

MemberIn the actual Event itself, next to where you created the ticket, there will be an ‘Attendees List’ link once there is at least one confirmed order.
Does this make sense? Let me know if I can explain anything else!
Cheers!

MemberI believe this conflict goes beyond the scope of our control.
Out of curiosity, does the shipping conflict happen when they aren’t marked as products, or does the paypal plugin leave them alone? It seems like the paypal plugin is just marking all available products.
Is there further action needed in the paypal plugin to mark the product as virtual or otherwise not needing delivery? I’m sure you’ve searched through already, I’m just unfamiliar with that plugin.

MemberI believe this is out of our scope of control sorry. 🙁
In the Events Settings > Display tab, what template are you using? That might effect what template the theme wants to do?
I’m betting there is a theme template (maybe archive.php?) that has ‘The Blog’ hardwired, and for some reason our single events page is using that as a wrapper.
Does that make sense?

MemberI may be mistaken, but I think you need to activate it per site. If you network activate it you will not be able to change the settings.
I’m not positive though, my multisite experience with The Events Calendar is limited. Let me know if this is incorrect.

MemberHello instress,
How are you creating the ticket, through the ‘Edit Event’ page or as a new product?
I’m not familiar with combining WooCommerce Tickets with PayPal, but as far as I know there should be no conflict.
Cheers!

MemberActually, another staff member brought this to my attention:
to move folks from one to another you can use the new Delete Attendee feature, and then create a new order for the same customer – and assign the relevant ticket product to that order
It’s not perfect but should get the job done.
Does this make sense? Let me know if this doesn’t work for you.
