    Hi,

I followed the instructions to change the colors of the events calendar pro meta box in the Themers guide. I’m trying to do the same thing for the wootickets meta box

http://www.liveroomescape.com/event/sherlock-room/ – as you can see here, the wootickets meta box is white, i am trying to make it the same as the other meta boxs.

is there a guide or instructions on how to do this?

    Hello liveroomescape,

Unfortunately that link isn’t working for me, it immediately redirects to the homepage. Can you check to see the link is working ok?

    Cheers!

Hi sorry i didn’t reply, i think i missed the email. The link wasnt working because i had to use a different events calendar for a short time to get it working ASAP. I now have some time to get this working.

If you go to the link you will see that i have all the meta box’s just the way i want, by following the themeres guide, but i cant figure out how to do the same thing for the tickets box just below.

Also id like to max the tickets meta box appear above the other meta box’s since its the most important meta box.

Thanks a lot 🙂 if u need my license key number u should be able to find it in my account.

I believe the best bet is to put your WooTickets CSS in the same CSS file as the other edits. You may need more specificity to override the current CSS.

I’ll ask a developer about moving the ticket box and answer tomorrow. I’m not sure it will be easy to do. Also, you may want to consider leaving it where it is, as it adopts a good information -> decision UX paradigm for the user.

Does this make sense? Let me know if this doesn’t work for you.

    Thanks,

I have already tried to put my edits into the same css file as events calendar pro (although im using both the free method and the pro method because im not sure which one to do.)

My problem is, everything iv tried is not working. I dont actually know what CSS class to target, iv tried a few, when i use the chrome inspect tool i cant seem what class or id the wootickets meta box is using.

Also i thought this would be part of the themeres guide, just like events calendar? i thought this would have been documented??? is there a reason it is not documented?

I’d prefer a written tutorial i can just follow, it was so easy to fix up the events calendar pro because u had documentation.

And sorry, but the UX paradigm decision doesn’t make a whole lot of sense to me. On my site, all the information besides the wootickets meta box is printed out on their tickets, there is only 1 venue and 1 organiser so they should already know that info anyway.

I think it is up to my web site layout designers to decide wether or not the woo meta box should be at the top or bottom, if this is hard to change i’m extremely disappointed because it is expected that these things should be customisable. because most other event plugins those things are customisable.

    Hello liveroomescape,

Here is a written tutorial on moving the ticket form https://theeventscalendar.com/moving-the-ticket-form/

It does make much more sense to have it at the top if you only have on venue and organizer.

Here is the selector you want I believe.

Thanks a lot Casey, im pleased there is a small doco on this. the wootickets moved above easily. It was fairly easy to drop that code into the functions file. Thanks a lot for that.

I can’t quite get the css to work, but i’m sure i can if i just try harder so ill get back to you if i have any more troubles.
