KeymasterHi, there. Thanks for your interest in our plugin suite.
Our ticketing product doesn’t currently support PRO’s recurring events.
If you start to create a ticket for a recurring event, there will be a little question mark notice that reads:
Currently, tickets will only show up on the frontend once per full event. For PRO users this means the same ticket will appear across all events in the series. Please configure your events accordingly.
You should add your vote to this existing feature request for Event Tickets to support PRO’s recurring events.
Something some users are doing right now is using PRO’s recurring events to populate their events calendar but then breaking each occurrence from the series to turn them into single events — basically using PRO as an event generator but not actually using its recurring events functionality on the front-end. Others are just dealing with the tickets on recurring events even though you can’t then tell which occurrence they reserved the ticket for… use this information for your own reference but please don’t take it as any sort of recommendation.
I hope this info helps. Let me know if you have any follow-up questions.
Thanks,
BrendanBrendan
KeymasterHi there,
Thanks for emailing support. It could be a conflict with another plugin especially since it sometimes loads. Can you also try testing for conflicts with your theme and other plugins? If you would prefer not to do this on your live site, WP Staging will let you create a quick copy of your live site that you can use for testing. Let me know what you find!
Thanks,

KeymasterHi there,
Thanks for emailing support. If you go to Events > Settings > Tickets and uncheck “Enable QR codes” this should disable the the creation of QR codes. Let me know if that works.

KeymasterHi there,
Thanks for emailing support. Yes, based on your stats you will want to review the performance considerations document to implement what you can. This will help you speed up your site.

KeymasterHi there,
I see, you may want to look into different caching options. Let me know if one of these options in the link work for you.

KeymasterHi there,
Sorry you feel that way. Its our first method to rule out conflicts and we have noticed 99.9% of the time its a conflict. Updates are usually made frequently on WordPress sites and was not aware of this from your first message so my apologies.
In regards to the development license, our license system will not count domains with the following TLDs toward your license seats:
- .dev
- .test
- .local
- .tribe
- .staging
So if you are ever in need, you can setup the dev environment with one of these TLD endings.
Finally, yes you are correct the ticket needs to have an attendee to see this option.
Please let me know if you have any other questions.
Thanks,
BrendanBrendan
KeymasterHi There,
I see and see your ticket is still open. Please follow up with Jaime on that ticket since she will have more details about your system info.

KeymasterHi Pim,
Thanks for emailing support. Your users can register for an appointment. Depending on what information is needed, you can add fields to the registration as well.

KeymasterHi there,
Thanks for emailing support!
Unfortunately this is not an option since the ticket is tied to a ecommerce solution. Once a user adds a ticket it will take them through the purchase process.
Thanks,
BrendanBrendan
KeymasterHi There,
Do you have Redis cache or are using WP Engine cache? You may want to create a separate ticket for your issue since I cannot see any of your info.
Thanks,

KeymasterHey shanghaiist, thanks for chiming in!
You’re totally welcome to follow along as I help troubleshoot this issue with Yalanda. In fact, you can subscribe to receive an email when there are updates to this thread. If you’d like direct support, however, it would be awesome if you could open a new thread. We find it’s much easier to address one reported issue at a time in a thread and that sometimes seemingly similar issues wind up being something completely different.
Thanks so much!
Brendan

KeymasterHi there,
Are you referring to the month view? If so you can limit it by changing the settings at Events > Settings > Display. You can have it only pull in one month at a time and enable caching.
Let me know if that works.
Thanks,

KeymasterHi there,
Sorry for the misunderstanding!
In regards to online venues, if your site has a headquarters/central location, you could create a venue called “Online” and just give it a location. But technically there isn’t an online venue specific option.
In regards to timezone, you can set the timezone as the local timezone when this event will start. If someone from a different timezone downloads this event, it will add it to their calendar with the correct time they are in to view. So yes, you are correct on how this functions.
Please let me know if you have any follow-up questions on this topic.
Thanks,
BrendanBrendan
KeymasterHi there,
Sorry for misunderstanding! We do have a few options in the PRO plugin. One requires an extension that gives you additional settings in the WordPress customizer and the other option is to make edits to the CSS which we can help with our Themer’s guide available to PRO license holders.
Thanks,
