I can see the benefits of having pdf tickets again. One of the big reasons for changing was pdf tickets were not customizable.

The Tickets have been all html based since 2.0 which was 2 years ago.

We could be interested in adding it back and we take most of our feature requests from UserVoice so I encourage you to request it there.

As for getting all the tickets on one page to print I do not have any coding for that, but it could be possible with a customization to the tickets.

You can follow our themer’s guide to get started on that:

    https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/themers-guide/

    Thanks

I can see how that would add value. It is not one of our most requested feature for tickets, but I encourage you to create it or up vote it on User Voice to make it a more requested feature.

    Thanks

    Ben,

That change to those titles is not from the coding I gave you. I see we have provided a lot of different style changes for your site. Please note is beyond the support we can provide to do all those changes you would like. So I am going to let you take it from here.

I encourage you to follow this guide on using the browser inspector and learn how to target the css yourself and make the changes you would like.

Are you familiar with using your browser’s inspector tool to find which CSS rule is applied to what element? Since Chrome is probably the most popular browser among developers. There is a pretty good video on YouTube walking you through the basics of using this tool, just in case you do not already know how it works.

Using browser inspection tools is probably the easiest way to figure out how to style an element. As an example I will walk you through how to style the background color of the Month view calendar days/column headings (Monday – Sunday):

    1) Right click on current day view header (which by default is gray), then click inspect.

    2) In the styles pane on the right you will note all of the CSS styles and rules that apply to this element. You should notice .tribe-events-calendar thead th in the Styles pane on the right hand side. In side of that CSS Rule you will see the background and border color.

    3) The easiest way to restyle that is to copy that CSS rule to your theme’s custom css file. I like to precede the rule with the body tag in my custom css file, thus making it more specific and overriding the default. So I would change .tribe-events-calendar thead th to body .tribe-events-calendar thead th. Now you can make changes to colors, sizes, etc.

If the above makes no sense, or sounds like Greek to you, that’s cool too. Sadly though, in order to make modifications like the one you want you need to understand CSS rules and how to override them pretty well. If that does not describe you, have no fear. We actually keep a list of freelancers who are quite capable of making changes on your behalf. You can obtain this list by visiting https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/find-a-customizer/

    Thanks

Ok so there is no venues at all? Can you manually create one?

What about when manually creating an event?

    Hello Again, Again.

    That is a good question.

The ticket is not stored in someones account to print again.

You can go back to a customer’s order and under Order Actions select Tickets and click save order or apply and it will resend the tickets.

I think that system could be improved to cut out the admin having to do it for a customer, if you think that is something you would like as a feature I encourage you to visit our User Voice Page and either upvote an existing request or make a new request there.

    Hi Again,

I was actually looking at a good third party tutorial that shows how to change the quantity.

    http://clicknathan.com/web-design/customizing-wootickets-for-events-calendar/

Following that you should be able to edit the file in your theme and it will not get overwritten by updates.

Let me know if that helps.

    Thanks

    Hi,

Thanks for using WooCommerce Tickets. I can help answer your questions.

The older version of the plugin used to send out pdf tickets. However, there were more issues using that so we have changed over to html tickets sent in an email. That video is 2 and half years old and not representative of the current features. Please look at our current site to see all the features: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/new-user-primer-woocommerce-tickets/

    1. Is there anyway to set it to be one of these that the customer receives as its confusing when they receive 2 as they do not know what to bring to the gig?

The system is setup to send both emails for all our ticketing plugins and would require a customization to change that, which is beyond the support we can provide.

    2. Can the ticket email be in PDF form also as an attachment, printing the ticket is not obvious and also does not look good in the HTML format when you do print so I need the ticket in a pdf form for printing?

We do not have a feature to change these back to pdf tickets and again it would be a customization we cannot support to add that feature back.

That barcode plugin would not check in users on it’s own it would take some custom coding to do that. We are working on adding QR codes and looking to do a beta hopefully this month. If you are interested in it please email us at [email protected].

Let me know if you have any follow up questions.

    Thanks

I am not sure what other events should have tickets so I am unable to check.

Did you fix the issue with the start and end sale date times? Are those correct for the tickets that are not showing?

What are those dates for the tickets not showing?

Did you change and keep the default time settings in WordPress instead of that custom setting?

    Ok thanks for verifying.

So when you manually create an event the venue shows? But not from Facebook Imported Events.

Can you please run through our testing for conflicts guide:

Testing Conflicts With Themes and Other Plugins

Try to import events with a different theme and only the events plugin necessary to import and see if it pulls in the venue then.

Please make sure there is no venue with the same name in the admin section.

Let me know what you find out and we can go from here.

    Thanks

Unfortunately, that link does not work and our policy is to not access client sites so please do not send login infomration.

Are you able to zip up the theme and provide a link in Dropbox or Google Drive to download?

    Let me know.

    Thanks

Ok I was able to import all 4 events and it pulled in the Venue with address.

The venue for Spice Route did not show the map, but I think that is because there is no Postal Code.

    The rest all showed maps.

    On your Facebook Import Settings:

Events > Settings > Facebook > “Enable Google Maps on imported events”

Can you confirm that box is checked.

Also, do these venues already exist in your venue admin and if you look at them are they all filled in?

Let me know and we can go from here.

    Thanks

    Ok sounds good.

I would look at our themer’s guide for help getting started on customizations:

    https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/themers-guide/

Since this is marked resolved I am going to close this ticket, but if you need anything else related to this topic or another please post a new topic on the forum and we can help you out.

    Thanks
