MemberI use a plugin called BackWPUp to do this.
You can setup a backup of the db and files and then get the file it creates and place it in dropbox and share the link.
That is usually the best way.
May 18, 2015 at 2:19 pm in reply to: Just got approval but received message saying coupon code expired – HELP! #963442Brian
MemberHi,
All licensing coupons for the Non Profit Program should be addressed to email [email protected]
Also, the coupon we give out does expire on the 5th of the next month. But that is the coupon to purchase the plugins not the license for the plugins themselves that expires.
If you have already purchased the plugins and using the plugin and getting an out of date message you have to setup your license keys in the site to update them.
Follow these steps here to activate your license in your site:
For more information on the license keys please view this page:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase-category/install-licenses/
Thanks

MemberOk sounds good. I am creating a ticket for us to look at the Location Search and explore this issues in the next release. So we are going to address it and see about a resolution.

MemberHi Kavi and Rich,
Thanks for posting here. I can certainly help you here, but we can help you better if you create your own topic in the forum where we interact with you one on one. Also, we encourage you to post on your own topic because every time we post we email the author of the topic.
Having said that, each ticket is always given it’s own id when it is created by WordPress just like a post, page, or any other content type. If you buy a group of tickets they will have the same order id, but unique ids themselves as each is a custom post type called tickets and WordPress uses the next available id to generate that number as it does will all content created in WordPress.
There is no representation of these ticket numbers in the system!
Since all those numbers are “post” ids they are represented as any content is in WordPress. Tickets for an event are organized in the Attendee’s list which you can access from the Admin Event List and clicking Attendees link that appears after hovering over an event title.
If people by multible tickets all the tickets bought in the same process need to have the same ticketnumber.
This is not a feature of our plugin, it maybe possible with a customization, but that is beyond the support we can provide. Also, you would have to get around the WordPress method for creating content, which just assigns the next available id to them.
Cheers

MemberIt is much more involved then showing and hiding divs unfortunately.
You would have to edit templates, create custom queries, and custom scripts all of which could take at least intermediate level knowledge of PHP, Javascript, and jQuery.
Doing something this large I do not have a plan for or any coding to help get started beyond showing you where the mini calendar template is following the themer’s guide.

MemberIt is similar to what I describe above, you could do it by editing the month templates we have our themer’s guide to help show you where the templates are and where to move to your theme to edit:

MemberOk sounds good.
We are testing a release now to resolve this issue.
Let us know if anything comes up though with the fix.
Thanks

MemberRich,
What is not working the imports? If you try other event ids do they work?
Are you able to create an event and register with Eventbrite?
You are on a staging site in WP Engine can you confirm your Outh URI and Application url in Eventbrite are set for the staging site?

MemberHi,
Thanks for the interest in our plugins.
If you would like all the features of both Pro and Commuity Events you will want to purchase a license for both plugins.
All our plugins work with the latest version of each other. Often times you may see the version number of 3.9.3, that would also work with 3.9 it is the first two numbers that must match to work together.
We have a front end demo of the plugins located here:
Let me know if you have any follow up questions.
Thanks

MemberHi,
Thanks for the interest in our plugins. Community Events and Tickets are not currently working together. We hope to add that as a feature, but I do not have a timeline when that might happen.
Let me know if you have any follow up questions.
Thanks
Brian
MemberHi Jos,
Sorry for the losing those updates. I hope you have a backup.
Unfortunately, we do not have a method to store those files outside the plugin.
So they will be lost on each update.
The best thing to do is make sure you have a backup and upload it after a plugin update.
I have just created a ticket in our system to look into changing that so there is a location you could put the language files that is safe from updates.
Let me know if you have any follow up questions.
Thanks
