Unfortunately I cannot view your website – can you confirm what the correct URL is?

Can I also ask you to visit the Permalink Settings page … you don’t need to change or update anything, though, just visiting this screen causes WP to refresh a list of rules it uses to direct incoming requests. Could be worth seeing if everything works after doing this.

    Thanks!

There is certainly a bug here and you have hit on the cause in the form of that setting. We’ll investigate a fix as quickly as we can 🙂

Hi: I’m sorry you are experiencing difficulties.

We’d be happy to keep things like your client’s URL private, but beyond that we will be replying openly and would also encourage you not to make private replies unless you need to, as it’s a publicly accessible forum and isn’t helpful for others who might be hitting similar difficulties if they come across this thread and find a mass of hidden posts 🙂

To the problem at hand, it looks very similar to the one described (along with some solutions) in this support article. Are you using either of those themes – and if so does that help?

    Thanks!

Hi: I don’t actually see this when I visit your site – have you made any changes since posting?

Hi – I’m sorry you are experiencing difficulties.

I suspect something has gone wrong during the update process: can you confirm that both The Events Calendar and Events Calendar PRO have been updated to our latest versions? In the latest PRO plugin that code should not exist.

Reinstalling both plugins manually – essentially, uploading fresh copies over the top of the existing ones – could be worthwhile if that doesn’t help.

Let us know you you get on!

No need to bump – we are experiencing higher than normal demand for support and try to work through the threads in the order they were posted – bumping effectively causes us to see threads as more recent than they actually are so it doesn’t raise the priority – quite the reverse 🙂

To the issue at hand: I don’t actually think this is anything to do with WooCommerce Tickets – unless of course you can demonstrate that the same thing doesn’t happen if WooCommerce Tickets is deactivated and you add a regular WooCommerce product to the cart.

With that in mind, I would recommend discussing this with your theme’s support team.

    I hope that helps 🙂

Hi – thanks for these questions 🙂

But I can’t implement it as a separate ticket type because the earlybird and regular priced ticket cannot share a maximum quantity pool. If it isn’t possible to have two tickets share a quantity pool, I will settle for a coupon.

I’m afraid at this time pooled inventory is not supported, so a coupon may indeed be the best bet here.

Again, I can’t create two tickets one with and one without because there’s a fixed capacity and I don’t want to oversell the availability. Is there a way to share it?

Could you have a second ticket that is clearly marked as representing the single supplement (and so requires them to also buy the regular ticket item)? You could rely on explanatory text to encourage the user to act appropriately, or indeed do a little customization work to ensure if the supplement is added the base product also is. If that won’t work, read on … !

Will http://www.woothemes.com/products/product-add-ons/ work with WooTickets and would this addon serve the function I require?

That could possibly provide you with a way of solving some of these issues. The caveat is you would really need to be able to reach the actual WooCommerce product page for the ticket products in question. That’s possible – check out this thread for a possible starting point here.

I hope that helps and please do feel free to add your support to suitable existing feature requests re the above over on UserVoice (or even create brand new requests if you prefer and it’s appropriate) 🙂

Certainly works for me, at least in the standard (non-WP SEO specific) form.  Are you finding it is only a problem with WP SEO?

    Hi Lars:

I would have expected you to be taken to list view, if day view is not enabled – so I’m not sure why you are experiencing this. Can you point me to an example of this behaviour?

    Thanks!

It certainly should do (and if I create an event that is assigned to a child category – and view the parent – it works, in month as well as list view).

I do appreciate you taking the time to deactivate all other plugins and revert to a default, unmodified theme – can you confirm what the outcome of that test was?

    Thanks!

    Hi!

I’m glad you like the plugin! Sorry for the delay – it can often take 24hrs before we’re able to reply though and right now we’re dealing with unusually high demand for support.

Looking at your site, I’m concerned that perhaps our new responsive layout functionality is engaging even when it shouldn’t (unless you’ve implemented some custom tweak to make it do this?). With that in mind, can we start by adding this snippet to your theme’s functions.php file and see if that improves things?

If that doesn’t help, please give me a specific example to look at as I’m not sure I can locate the problem you’re referring to.

    Let us know!

I’m sorry you’ve hit problems here. Was this a temporary glitch? It seems fine (with regards to the original issue) when I visit it now, though I appreciate some amount of time has passed since you first posted.

Apologies also about automated updates not functioning. Unfortunately this is always a possibility though most users don’t hit any problems – I do note that the very URL you posted (which I’ll remove from your post) provides access to the PRO plugin – so whatever is happening would appear to be specific to our update engine and/or how it operates within your hosting environment.

I wonder if you might at some future point be able to test an automated update with no other plugins running and only a default, unmodified theme in place? It it worked, it could indicate that something else is conflicting, for example.

    Hi Joelle,

You’ll certainly need to update your copy of Eventbrite Tickets, least not because Eventbrite have made changes to their API and the version you are using is now out of date.

Can you try visiting Events → Settings  Licenses and ensure you’ve entered your license key for Eventbrite Tickets, then visit the plugin admin screen and attempt to update? Failing that you can grab a copy of our latest release here and update manually.

Hopefully that will resolve this 🙂

That definitely doesn’t sound good 🙁

I do see you already tried deactivating other plugins and switching to a default, unmodified theme, though – thanks for giving that a try: can you confirm if it made any difference to this issue?

    Thanks!

Hi Bill – in the first instance can I ask you to update The Events Calendar to 3.5.1 and see if that addresses any of these issues?
