ParticipantHi,
I’ve just installed Events Pro and Woo Commerce Tickets. I followed the videos but first and foremost my /events page has basically nothing – and nothing on the front end seems to display / work.
Please help.

We’d be happy to keep things like your client’s URL private, but beyond that we will be replying openly and would also encourage you not to make private replies unless you need to, as it’s a publicly accessible forum and isn’t helpful for others who might be hitting similar difficulties if they come across this thread and find a mass of hidden posts 🙂
To the problem at hand, it looks very similar to the one described (along with some solutions) in this support article. Are you using either of those themes – and if so does that help?

ParticipantI do have canvas / woothemes and did put this in functions.php but no change really. I am not getting emailed updates from this string either.

MemberI’m surprised it has had zero effect. I do see various caching headers coming back – are you using a caching plugin at all and might we be looking at some cached content?
Failing that, in the first place please deactivate all other plugins – then see if there is any change (with the relevant snippet in place within your theme’s functions.php file). Failing that, let’s confirm it is indeed the problem we think it is – switch to Twenty Twelve / Thirteen or another default theme and see if everything works then.

Participantwe use WP-Engine for our site – they use caching. Does this have an effect?

MemberIt’s possible, but perhaps it would be best to start with the basics here – and deactivate all other plugins/switch to a default and unmodified theme and see what if any impact that has on the problem.
