Event Calendar Pro creates wrong url (it translates venue to ort in the path)

Hello sir.
If you look at my web site , at the area under the calendar, the Title link is created correctly and it works but the link under the title for some reason is created with the word venue translated in German (‘venue’ is becoming ‘org’) so the link is not working.
Any ideas on how to fix that?

Unfortunately I cannot view your website – can you confirm what the correct URL is?

Can I also ask you to visit the Permalink Settings page … you don’t need to change or update anything, though, just visiting this screen causes WP to refresh a list of rules it uses to direct incoming requests. Could be worth seeing if everything works after doing this.

The event I am talking about is the one event that exists in April 5.
Check that you are using the german version of the site.
It seems that for some reason for the specific event (the other events of the year work properly) your program translated the venue url although I have never ticked the Venues to be translatable option.

That is certainly odd – but can I ask what is managing the translations? Is it another plugin? I can definitely envision some difficulties in dynamically switching language in this way.

To follow up here, this snippet (which you could for instance add to your theme’s functions.php file) could be useful – it basically “fixes” the slugs for venues and organizers such that they aren’t translated, though you could modify it to force usage of German language slugs or anything else you think is useful.

Note that if you receive 404 errors after applying this that is an indicator you will need to visit the Permalink Settings screen (resave the page) just to enforce the new slugs.
