MemberHi @qbme,
I can certainly see the problem but, unfortunately, it looks like something your theme is doing rather than being something our plugin can control.
Have you been able to reach out to the theme author/review any theme documentation that might be available in case there is a filter or some other straightforward means of tweaking this?
On our end, we do offer template tags like tribe_is_event_query() which can help in customizing areas like this (by detecting if an event page is being viewed and altering things – like the breadcrumb trail – appropriately if it is).

MemberHi musiclives,
I’m sorry to hear you’ve hit up against difficulties.
Can you be more explicit about which are duplicates (and provide some example names/dates)? I do see a few that appear to be duplicates on first glance but actually appear to have subtle differences between them, so initially I’d just like to clarify where you see the problem 🙂
Thanks!

MemberHi Raphael,
Right now I’m afraid there are not any terribly easy ways to make this sort of change and so – for the time being at least – it is a sufficiently advanced customization that I’m afraid we can’t help you through it here on the forums.
The good news is we already have a change to make this sort of task easier on our books so it’s quite possible we’ll see some nice changes coming in a future release 🙂

MemberHi Jeff,
If there is I’m afraid I cannot locate it and no one on the team seems to recall this.
It’s possible it was written by a former team member and we’ve lost track of it – but that being the case I’m afraid there’s not a great deal we can do about it at this point.
Perhaps you can leverage standard WordPress export/import functionality to at least get you part of the way?

MemberHi Sean,
Thanks for posting and sharing your concerns.
It’s definitely understandable that you wouldn’t want to purchase a license if you are unsure whether you will ultimately stick with the plugin. On the other hand, it is license purchases that open up access to support channels like the PRO support forum.
I’m afraid we cannot give away that level of support for free, which is why we do not offer technical support here in the pre-sales forum.
With that in mind, all I can really suggest is you seek help in our wordpress.org forum (that does tend to be more limited, but other members of the community can also help out over there) and try to get this up and running with our core, free plugin first of all.
I’d also note that what you’re describing is – at this time – a fairly ambitious customization to make, so may even be the sort of thing where you might consider pulling in a suitable designer/developer to assist in setting it up.

MemberHi Lars,
There is no doubt this would be a great addition to the plugin and there is certainly a lot of demand for it. Right now though I’m afraid I cannot really offer much in the way of a substantive update – other, more critical items have been prioritized above this.
Hopefully though we’ll be able to move on it sometime in the next few release cycles, though I can offer no real guarantee.

MemberHi Karolina,
I can appreciate that – but perhaps you could create a test site?
Many hosting environments offering facilities like CPanel which make the creation of a new WordPress site (in a subdirectory, for instance) a task that takes just a few minutes: that way you could test without disturbing the live site 🙂
But if this issue will not solved, we are not going to buy the PRO version.
Hopefully it can be solved – we’d be sorry to lose a potential customer.
Even so, we do not provide technical support here in the pre-sales forum – that’s reserved for those customers who have purchased a license (I’m sure you can appreciate we can’t offer unbounded support free of charge).
If you’re able to make the purchase that would be great and you can then seek further assistance over on our PRO forum. Until then, or if you prefer not to, I can only advise you try and seek help on the wordpress.org forum.
Thanks again!

MemberHi Adam,
Here’s a minimal example of doing this:
https://gist.github.com/anonymous/65949b3468e4941aaf28
I’ve basically moved the add-to-cart button into a new table cell at the end of each row of tickets.
Downsides include the fact that you will have multiple add-to-cart buttons if you ever create a product with multiple tickets (though you could solve this with a further tweak – or you could take a pure CSS approach, possibly – but in any case it ought to serve as a good starting point for you, especially if you will only ever have one ticket per product).
Hope that helps!

MemberMy pleasure – and I’m sorry you were impacted by this bug.
I’ll close this topic but as soon as a fix is released we’ll aim to re-open it and post an update (failing that, it will be covered in a blog post and/or the changelog included with each version of the plugin).
Thanks again!

MemberHi Adam,
Which element are you struggling with – were you able to successfully set up a template override for instance?
