MemberJudy: this is clearly a shortcoming in our plugin but not one that occurs if you have Events Calendar PRO installed. With that said, it is completely fixed as of version 3.0 (the next major version of our plugin which is on the horizon, currently in beta testing) even without the PRO plugin.
So, to give you a means of working around this in to the interim, we would be delighted to provide you with a complementary copy of Events Calendar PRO. We won’t provide a license, as it is simply a temporary measure until 3.0 arrives – at that point you can deactivate PRO (unless you decide to keep it, in which case by all means go ahead and buy a license at that point).
If that sounds like something you want to try please email us (at [email protected], marking your email for my attention – please also include a link back to this thread, just in case another team member deals with it).
Thanks so much for your patience so far.

MemberHi Jesse,
Let me address these points in turn – if you need further help though we might need to break this into two or more threads as you are discussing quite separate issues.
When i click on an event in my calendar it clicks through to a page without any “Register Now” buttons or navigation beyond this.
No event ticketing or registration facilities are built-in to Events Calendar PRO as standard, you would need a further extension such as WooTickets or Eventbrite (or something custom) here.
It is also showing earlier and later events without any title.
In the event list format the page doesn’t show any links to purchase.I can’t identify the section of your site that uses our plugin. Can you point me to your main events page (the month or “grid” view)?
Thanks!
Barry
MemberHi Paul: I suspect this is an oversight, let me see if we can get you a workaround however this is a definitely a bug that I’ll file and ought to be addressed in time for our next release.
Barry
MemberIf you are using default event templates (check Events > Settings > Templates if you are unsure) you could probably insert your code at the top of ecp-page-template.php and ecp-single-template.php.
Alternatively, if you are using something like the default page template then you could edit that template and combine your code with a tests like tribe_is_event() and/or tribe_is_upcoming() to ensure it only operates on event pages.

Member… I see you’ve started your own thread and Jonah’s helping there: I’ll go ahead and close this one.

MemberExcellent. How are you getting on here Cameron?
Barry
MemberHi Philippe,
Can you eplain why the title for the “grid view” option is the first event of the month ? Example: http://www.bieresetplaisirs.com/evenements/
Can you let me know what Events > Settings > Template > Events Template is set to (and try some different settings out – including Default Events Template)?
If that doesn’t work can you run through our complete troubleshooting steps:
- Ensure your Modern Tribe plugins are up-to-date and in synch (if you are using The Events Calendar 2.0.11 then you must use Events Calendar PRO 2.0.11)
- Deactivate all other plugins
- At the same time switch to a default, unmodified theme such as Twenty Twelve
- Now check to see if the problem persists
- If the problem has gone, reactivate everything one-at-a-time, checking at each stage to see if the issue has returned
How i can creat a list of events by cateogry at the end of a page or a post ?
It would be great if you could create a new thread for this, as it is a completely different topic 🙂
Thanks!
Barry
MemberHi Ricard, you’re right – I can replicate this too. Bear with me while I seek support from a dev.
Barry
MemberRight now I’m afraid recurring events are unsupported by Eventbrite Tickets, regardless of whether Event Calendar PRO is installed.
My understanding is that the Eventbrite API does not support this either (even though Eventbrite itself does), so I’m afraid it’s not even something we could add.
Barry
MemberHi David!
Thanks for getting in touch – and for using Eventbrite Tickets.
What you are discussing would essentially amount to a feature request. Eventbrite Tickets does not automatically import events from Eventbrite, so you’re right: at this time, you specifically have to decide that you want to import an event then go do it, one at a time.
Also, if I make a change to the event in Eventbrite, it does not update on our calendar page.
I suspect this is a limitation of the Eventbrite platform and its API. What we would need to make this happen in an efficient manner is for Eventbrite to “call back” to the local website with details of the change, and my understanding is that this is not an option.
It would probably be possible to workaround this though by setting up scheduled checks of all linked events – however that is not within the current scope of the plugin. I could put that forward as a feature request, but I suspect it is something that would need to be implemented as a third party plugin or customization.

MemberHi Daniella: moving this across to the Community Events forum so our expert Casey see’s this.
Barry
MemberThanks Tim!
Anne: following on from Tim’s input it would seem that, unfortunately, our plugin is not compatible with the Windows Azure platform (unless there is a means of changing its configuration, however we can’t really advise you about that).
With that in mind I can really only suggest a possible move to a different hosting environment at this stage, I’m afraid (again, unless you can work with an Azure rep or other specialist who can reconfigure things appropriately).
If you have any further comments or feedback it would be great to hear from you – otherwise I’ll mark this thread as closed since, regrettably, I don’t think there are many other avenues to explore at this stage.
Barry
MemberExcellent, thanks for the feedback and for bearing with us while we looked into this. I’ll close this thread now, but of course if you have further questions (or different issues) please go right ahead and create new topics.
Thanks!
Barry
MemberLooking under Workshops I can see what I’m guessing are various WooCommerce products. WooTickets only adds a ticket form to single event pages, however, as seen here:
http://b2cfitness.com/b2c/event/upper-body-dysfunction/
(If you look below the event description you’ll see the ticket form, complete with price and the button to purchase.)
Does the clear things up?
