Hi Luke – sorry for the delay in answering, we must have missed you after you posted on Friday and we don’t typically work weekends (though there might be one or two exceptions, but we don’t guarantee anything there).

I’m afraid we can’t give a fixed deadline for the release of 3.0. It’s being put through it’s paces right now (beta testing) and it’s public release is going to depend on how quickly that proceeds, what problems might be thrown up, etc.

To go back to your original question:

It doesn’t really work properly, if you limit posts to 3 events on the home page and not show re-occuring events then it gets 3 posts if all are reoccuring it only shows 1 event because the rest are repeating, HOWEVER the loop does not continue to show the next non-reoccuring event, because it already has 3 posts … This is a bug in the system I believe, i think there needs to be a option to fix this. Would you agree?

To be clear, is this in relation to some custom code you have written?

Hi Eugen, sorry for the delay.

Please note however that we don’t operate 24/7. (Although there might be one or two exceptions where you get lucky) we typically keep a normal working week and, within that constraint, try to reply to customers within 24hrs of them posting here on the forum.

I would like to have the possibility to have the events display in Calendar format. However, when I choose that, NOTHING is displayed.

OK, so I visited your site using the URL you supplied when you created this thread but couldn’t locate your events pages. Can you provide a URL either to the page that ought to house your calendar view, or else to the upcoming events list, or even to a single event?

Also, I notice your site seems to operate in two languages. Can you confirm if you are using a multi-language plugin to facilitate this (and, if so, which one are you using)?

    Thanks!

I’m going to close this one since you’ve posted the same question a second time – we’ll help you out there 🙂

That’s really strange, particularly if it only just started happening. When you view the list of events “admin side” am I right in thinking you see the correct number (ie, just one per event)?

The receipts are generated by PayPal: are you able to print yours out using your email client’s print option?

    Hi Zakia,

It’s difficult to know for sure because you aren’t currently using our plugin so of course we can’t see the problem first hand, so I’m not 100% sure that this is the fix for you, but this post is definitely worth reviewing as your site is currently using jQuery 1.6.1 (which is an older version of jQuery):

    Hi Charles,

Thanks for the feedback – we’ll definitely take that on board and try to improve in the next release.

So before I go ripping this all back out, I’d like to know if anyone has been able to implement an event registration successfully using ECP and WooTickets.

I just want to be clear – are you experiencing a technical problem here, or is the stumbling block the inability to add individual attendee names to each purchase?

Hi everyone, thanks once again for all the feedback 🙂

The absence of the event date from the PDF tickets does rather seem like an oversight and I’ll be sure to take note of that so it can be addressed in a future version of WooTickets.

It also is absent from the order confirmation email; I’ll definitely take note of that, too, however since that side of the system is handled by WooCommerce it may be that a customization needs to take place on that side, too, if you want to conditionally add that sort of data in there.

The attendee list is something that a number of users have commented on and I have already logged that as a feature request – but your comments here definitely lend extra weight to this and I’ll be sure to annotate that there is considerable demand for improvements here.

Export options, whether to a more readily printable format or to XML, would also be good for sure – and again I believe we’ve taken note of that already but I’ll definitely make a record of further requests coming in for this.

All in all, I’d like to thank you for your support so far – we’re definitely listening and keen to improve the experience for everyone.

I’m not exactly sure what you mean and I’m worried that there is a bit of a communication barrier here.

To the best of my knowledge there is no conflict with Twenty Eleven or any other default theme. If you’ve found that there is, then please do create a thread on the Events Calendar PRO forum and we will be happy to investigate.

Alternatively, if you are highlighting that other plugins operate successfully with themes other than Twenty Twelve then, yes – and so does The Events Calendar. Integration with Gantry though is not something we can guide you on and is something of a special case … with most themes integration is pretty painless.

Last but not least, please remember that this is the pre-sales forum. If you want technical assistance you should post in the Events Calendar PRO forum.

Hi Phil, yep 1.0.5 was the current version when I made my last post, so, I’m afraid the fix is at least one more version away.

OK, so basically you’ve got a bunch of contributors/authors all creating events?

Possibly you could use a role editor plugin and remove the edit_tribe_venue and edit_tribe_organizer capabilities; you could check this plugin out and give it a try if you liked.

The thing is subscribers cannot post anything by default – neither pages nor posts. It’s basically the least empowered user role and is really just used for those people who have subscribed to the blog.

So, for that reason, their only capability in a regular installation is “read” – and so it wouldn’t really make sense to let them post events in most cases.

In this case what I’d recommend here is taking a look at the code in TribeEvents::addCapabilities() which you can find in:

    the-events-calendar/lib/the-events-calendar.class.php

(Approx lines 734-884.) Your custom roles would need to build in many of those capabilities that are added to default roles by The Events Calendar.

Well, there is a limit to the degree of support we can offer where custom/third party code is involved, but we’re definitely happy to at least see if it’s possible to help or even just nudge you in the right direction.

We would deactivate that plugin, but unfortunately we need it, so we would very much appreciate if you could give us some assistance.

I totally understand and I’m not asking you to deactivate it – but I would need you to meet me halfway here and answer my question: can you give an example of one of the roles that have been set up and list its capabilities?
