Event Location and Organizer Detail

Is there a way to not allow people to add a location or organizer? Currently people are adding locations and organizers without looking in the drop-down to see if it already exist. Is there a way to prevent duplicate entries?

No this is the Pro version without the add-on

OK, so basically you’ve got a bunch of contributors/authors all creating events?

Possibly you could use a role editor plugin and remove the edit_tribe_venue and edit_tribe_organizer capabilities; you could check this plugin out and give it a try if you liked.
