    Hello again Mike,

I’m sorry that the issue still has an impact on you.

I see that you are still using an older version of PRO. We are currently at version 4.4.24.2 and since 4.4.21 we have made improvements in the code and queries to make the geolocation queries more performant / less resource intensive. So far the responses from our users have been positive.

I would kindly like to ask you to check how the new versions of the plugins perform on your multi-site.

I’m sure you are playing it safe, nonetheless, let me suggest that you try them out on a staging site first, or at least create a full backup of your site, files and database including.

If the update doesn’t solve it, then I’ll try to get another solution for you to somehow eliminate the queries in question.

    Cheers,
    Andras

    Hi Jacqui,

Thanks for reaching out to us!

Does Community events support custom fields created by ECP?

If you mean the Additional Fields you can create with Events Calendar PRO, then yes, those can be used with Community Events as well.

can you create tickets with the Community events addon

Not quite. You will also need Community Tickets for that.

Or, if you don’t want to create tickets on the front end submission form, only on the back-end, then you don’t need Community Tickets.

Please note, to be able to create tickets on the front-end with Community Tickets, you will also need theย  Event Tickets Plus plugin.

does the cost / price of the ticket get output via the REST api

Not at the moment. For the time being only The Events Calendar plugin provides full REST API support.

Hope this answers your questions. Let me know if you have any follow-ups.

    Cheers,
    Andras

    Hi,

    I just tested this again.

    • create a ticket with 20 capacity
    • purchase 1
    • check the numbers everywhere – all okay, showing 19 available
    • go to the WooCommerce order page and set it to cancelled
    • go to the attendee page and delete the cancelled ticket
    • check the stocks everywhere – all looks okay, numbers went up to 20

Do I understand correctly that this doesn’t work for you?

And to me the refunded works the same way.

    A.

    Hi again,

Previously I tested it with tickets and that was working fine.

Now I tested it with RSVPs and there seems to be a bug.

After moving T1 to T2 both back-end and front-end show 4 of 5 for me, and can confirm that adjusting the stock doesn’t help.

I will log a bugticket on this one so our developers can take a look at it.

I am going to set the status of this ticket to “pending fix” and we will update it once the fix is released.

If you have any new questions or issues please create a new ticket and we’ll help you out.

    Thanks and cheers,
    Andras

    Hi Heather,

Thanks for the detailed explanation. I totally get what you mean and that is exactly how I tested it on my site. However, I wasn’t able to recreate the issue.

If you check the screenshot I sent you before that shows a greyed out readonly field during the promo period, which shows the WooCommerce promo price until the promotion is on. Do you ever see that field?

It would be great if you could test this with only the necessary plugins (WooCommerce, Calendar and Tickets) active, possibly on a test site to see if you can recreate it. Can you give that a try and see?

Did you also get that issue with other tickets, or only this one?

    Hi Jamie,

I tested the file and getting the same results. Please give me some time while I investigate this issue deeper.

It looks like those events contain some data / text which renders them useless for the import.

Is it maybe a recurring event that has the first / starting instance in the past?

    Cheers,
    Andras

    Hello Jon,

Thanks for your long term support and for reaching out!

I’m sorry about the issues you are experiencing with Event Aggregator.

I checked and looks like there was a long break in your imports but seems to have run again in the last 24 hours. Were those all manually triggered?

Could you please go to Imports > Scheduled Imports, open one that didn’t work for editing and send me a screenshot of the settings you have there?

If there are other issues than this, then please provide me some more details.

Just a note: The scheduled imports are dependent on the WordPress cron (action scheduler), sort of an alarm clock that gets triggered by a visit on your website. If there are no visits, then the cron / scheduler doesn’t run and so the imports will not run. But I doubt that your site didn’t have visitors for 4 weeks.

Looking forward to helping you solve this.

    Cheers,
    Andras

My guess is that the event date is set up from Feb X to April X (or similar) so it lasts 30+ and then the recurrence rules say repeat this every Tuesday and Thursday.

At the end a 30+ day long event is repeated every Tuesday and Thursday.

For the event date set up only one day (maybe a Tuesday), the same date as the starting and the ending date, with the proper start and end time, so the event will last 1 hour for example. Then this one hour event will recur.

Let me know if this helps.

    Hi Brandon,

Sorry about this issue with the recurring event. Looks as if the recurrence is not set up correctly. But might be something else as well.

Could you please send me a screenshot of how the recurrence rules of that event are set up?

In the meantime you could set the status of the event to draft to temporarily take it off your calendar.

    Hi achmarketing,

    Thanks for reaching out!

I cannot see your current submission page as it is password protected.

The community submission form uses the default events template itself.

You can create an override for this template in your own theme by creating a file at

    [your-theme]/tribe-events/community/default-placeholder.php

You can find further information on template overrides in our Themer’s Guide – https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/themers-guide/

Hope this helps you get started. Let me know if you need further help.

    Cheers,

    Hey gschnoor,

Thanks for your question! I’m sorry this is not working for you. Let me try to help.

It has likely nothing to do with the development domain.

I visited your page and I see a javascript error in the console. (Screenshot) Based on what I see there this could be cause by a conflict with the Nivo Slider plugin. Try deactivating that and check if that solves it.

If not, please go through our conflict testing guide.

Let me know if that brings anything to surface.

    Cheers,
    Andras
