    I can help you with that question.

    How are you doing the CSV export?

    If you are using WordPress’s built-in Tools > Export > Events which produces you an XML file, then for every event you have a tag <wp:post_id> which contains the ID for the event.

    If you are creating an ICS file from the front-end (e.g. month view > export month’s events button), then the event id is in the UID string, like this:

    UID:[email protected]

    The first number (3151) is the event ID.

    Es tut mir leid dass du von unsersen Produkten / Bug fixing Prozesse entteuscht bist. Ständlich bekommen wir Fehlermeldungen und leider können wir nicht alles in einer Woche reparieren. Development und testing benötigt mehr Zeit wenn man nicht noch mehrere Fehler haben möchte.

    Was ich mit dir mitteilen kann, für Importieren haben wir ein neues Produkt / Service im Pipeline. Ein Kollege hat das File / Stream das du geschikt hast damit getestet und alles lief prima. Die Events wurden perfekt importiert. Jetzt machen wir noch einige Tests und hoffentlich wird es released.

    Zu deiner zweite Frage: es ist möglich so eine Funktionalität haben mit ein bischen customization. Um zu starten empfehle ich die zwei Artikel:

    Hello Dom,

    I’m sorry to get back to you on this topic so late. I would like to know if you are still having the issue?

    I re-tested the file with one-time import and:

    • I’m getting the “Austrianer Abend” imported.
    • The event “Abendessen” which seems to be a recurring event gets imported several times on the same date, April 20. This seems to be a bug.

    Please, let me know what is your status on this.

    Hello Rodrigo,

    I wasn’t able to find the internal ticket for that, but the search bar at the top should be able to search based on state. In the location field type in the two letter abbreviation of the state you want to list the events for.

    Also, our Filter Bar plugin does support filtering by state.

    Do you experience the same when you are creating a new event? Please try these 2 scenarios:

    1. Create event without organizer, save it, then try to add organizer.
    2. Create event with organizer, save it, then try to change the organizer.

    Thanks for going Pro and welcome to the forums! I’m sorry you are experiencing some issues, let me help you with your questions.

    When developing our plugins we tend to respect good SEO practices, but we are not adding anything crazy or too advanced.

    As for your questions:

    1. In reoccurring events it shows as if there are duplicate title tags and meta descriptions.

    I believe we just had this flagged to us. I was trying to locate the internal ticket, but didn’t succeed yet. Could you share a link to the page where this is happening?

     

    2. Is there an option to display the full date, year included when the event is clicked on?

    Absolutely. Go to Events > Settings > Display tab > Date Format Settings section > Date without year field. Edit this to your liking. It can be the same as the Date with year just above it, if that’s your preference.

     

    3. For 2017 reoccurring events in my google console it shows as if there is ‘NO SEO TITLE’

    Can you confirm you don’t get this for the recurring events in the current year? Could you please share a link where you are experiencing this?

     

    4.Multiple soft 404, pages not found. Only for the events.

    5. Is there a way to set the default of the event page to view as a list?

    Can a dog bark? 🙂 Of course. Go to Events > Settings > Display tab > Basic Template Settings section > Default view dropdown. Set it to List, save at the bottom of the page and you are done.

     

    With a paid plugin there should be a way to contact support other then this forum. I like the plugin but this system of support, or lack there of is not great.

    I’m sorry you feel disappointed in our support. The support forums can help not only the person who opened the ticket, but others as well, who are having the same or similar problem. Also, we are proud of our Knowledgebase, which has plenty of good writings and handy tips in it and is being extended or a regular basis.

    And though our forum guidelines says “it may be 24-48 hours (during the week) before we respond to a post” – we are working hard to keep that below 24 hours.

     

    I’ll be waiting for your answers on the above and we’ll take it from there.

    Hallo nochmal,

    Leider habe ich schlechte nachrichten. Es sieht so aus dass du einen Bug gefunden hast. 🙂 Ich habe ein internes Bugticket geöffnet, also es soll gefixt wirden. Leider kann ich kein genaues Datum dir geben. Erstens muss jemand den Bug angucken, dann reparieren, testen, dann Qualitätskontrolle und dann release. Also es kann ein paar Wochen dauern. Wir bitten um Geduld und Verständniss.

    Kann ich dir irgendwie noch helfen, hast du noch irgendwelche Fragen?

    Jetzt hab ich ganz verstanden. 🙂 Vielen Dank für die Erklärung. Es tut mir leid dass du dieses Problem hast.

    Ich habe auch die Datei versucht zu importieren und kriege dieselbe Fehler (anstatt Jahr 0001 kriege ich 1970). Ich brauche ein bischen Zeit um dass zu investigieren. Ich bitte um ein bischen Geduld. Ich werde mich im Kurze melden.

    Hello Nadine,

    No worries at all, I totally understand if you don’t feel comfortable with that. Let’s continue like this then, and I can promise I will do my best to get this resolved. I’m more than happy to help. 🙂

    Troubleshooting the rest makes sense only if we tackle the first issue, or if you decide that you don’t mind having “find out more…” after all events.

    If you would like to tackle the first issue, showing “find out more…” after events that have a description, then please share with me a screenshot of the customized file, around where the code I sent you was inserted. Or if you could share with me the whole file somehow, that would be even better.
    Why the lines were getting shorter and shorter when you had this active, it looked like a closing < /div > tag was missing from somewhere, and the inserted code was missing a piece somehow. A screenshot or the file itself would allow me to look at that.

    If you can, then it would be great if you could try activating that file again and check the outcome with a default theme like twentysixteen. If it works with twentysixteen and doesn’t work with your theme, then there’s a high change the theme is doing some adjustments. (I tested locally with the free version of the Sidney theme, it worked fine for me.)

     

    For your second questions, moving the “Find out more” up to the end of the line, add the following snippet to your theme’s (preferably child theme’s) style.css file
    .tribe-events-map-event-description.tribe-events-content.description.entry-summary > p:nth-last-child(2) { display: inline; }
    .tribe-events-read-more { margin-left: 10px; }

    The second line merely adds some space between the excerpt and the “Find out more”. Feel free to adjust the value based on your needs.

    This code will work independent of fixing the first issue. Obviously “Find out more” needs to be visible for this.

    Thanks for reaching out! I’m sorry you are having a problem, let me try to help you.

    If it was working fine before the update, then there might be an issue with WP 4.6 or WP 4.6 and our plugins working together. I will need to investigate that.

    I have tried to recreate the issue you posted: I tried to submit a new community event with Visual Editor and with HTML editor. For me both of them worked fine.

    Could you please share your system information with me in a private reply? That might shed some light on this issue.

    Also, did you try this with switching to a default theme like twentysixteen? Please give that a try and let me know the result.

    I’m afraid I am not able to help you with WP-Smush as that plugin is not developed by us, unless it is somehow conflicting with one of our plugins.

    Erstens möchte ich dich bitten um das Problem nochmal auf Deutsch (Ich nehme an du bist Deutscher basierend auf die Webseite) (oder auf Ungarisch, Tomi ist ein ganz gewöhnlicher Nickname in Ungarn) zu erklären. Ich habe das nicht ganz verstanden.

    Das File das du eingelinkt hast hat sehr venig Datei, und sind keine Events drinne. Kannst du es nochmal Probieren?
