KeymasterHi Frankie,
We checked out what’s happening on this. We tested it in Google Structured Data Testing Tool and it’s there for each event, but because the JSON markup says
"location":falseand so it’s throwing an error. It looks like this is a limitation of our JSON generator at the moment, as it was not developed with customizations like this in mind.
If you think that is something you would like as a feature I encourage you to visit our User Voice Page and either upvote an existing request or make a new request there.
If you would like a speedier solution to this request, then I can share with you a list of freelancers from the community who are not affiliated with us and might be able to help you.

KeymasterHey Rob,
If you want to create sort of a custom page with events, then maybe using shortcodes to display different calendars would be the way to go. Here’s an article about using the [tribe_events] shortcode.
The other option could be Events > Settings > Display tab > Add HTML before event content field, though I haven’t tested if and how you can add there a revo slider.
The aggregated events do not include the images shown on the external URL
Hmmm… kindof weird. I just did a test import of the url and images got imported. This was the success message after the initial import.
Do you have the images in the Media ‘folder’?
Were the images on the source site added later than your first import?
What you can try is delete the scheduled import and delete all the events. Then also delete them from the ignored list. And re-import them. Check if the images will be imported then.
You can also test first with deleting only one event and see if on the next scheduled run the image is imported. (Don’t forget to remove it from the ignored list as well.)

KeymasterHi Davide,
Phew, you got some great questions there. 🙂
1. I’m not sure if it will make it to the json data. I will check with the team, but I think you would need to do some customization for that.
2. I’m sorry, I don’t really see the question for this point.
3. No, there is no such thing as group of events, however you can use categories and sub-categories. Maybe using those would be easier than custom taxonomies, but if you like the challenge… 🙂
Also, with PRO you can use ‘Additional fields’ which might help you with this. I’m not sure what exactly you would like to do with ‘Festivals’, I would need more details to be able to suggest anything more specific.

KeymasterHi Sherill,
Thanks for getting back to me on that and sharing your thoughts. Much appreciated.
Two notes I would like to make.
Apart from the wp timezone and the EC timezone setting what also matters is the timezone of the event. That also must be set to New York (or the appropriate city, and not UTC based).
Here are two screenshots: good and bad setting for event, in the above case.
Also here you can check the test event I set up with wp and event timezone as New York and EC setting to “sitewide”: https://tec.andrasguseo.com/event/dst-checking/all/
I will have DST end this Sunday, so we’ll see how that plays out. 🙂
A note on EDT vs. EST showing, we are aware of this issue and a fix in on the way. It needs to be tested and if all goes well, it will come with the next maintenance release in a week or two.
Reg. the database export, this plugin should help you create one. And you can share it through any cloud service. You can share the link here in a private reply.
When creating the export you don’t need to worry about the URL find and replace part. Just keep them as they are.

KeymasterHey Ricardo,
Regarding your first post:
You can try to use the
tribe_events_pro_tribe_events_shortcode_pre_renderaction, you should be able to manually add some stuff to query. In this article you will find some info on what you can pass to the query.
You can maybe also use the
shortcode_attsfilter as well.(Here you can find a full list of our functions.)
in “«Previous Events” I would like to show the most recent ones and not an endless list.
Like the last 10, or the ones in last 30 days.I checked your URL, now it shows me 6 events on the “Previous events” page.
If I’m not mistaken the number of events shown there is influenced by the setting under Events > Settings > General tab > Number of events to show per page.
Hope this helps you get started.

KeymasterHello Becky,
Thanks for reaching out to us! I’d be happy to help you with your questions.
The $29 Personal license is for single-site use only.
For $49 Business license you can use it on 3 sites.
And with both options you will get premium support and updates for 1 year.
If you click on the question mark next to ‘License type’ in the cart then a nice table pops up with the details of the rest of the license types. Here’s a screenshot of that for you.
I’m looking at this to be able to place 2-3 images in a widget and have them show up randomly on page refresh. I’m assuming that this plugin will do that?
Your assumption is absolutely right Becky! You have the option to:
- show a random image from a selection
- show one image all the time
- have a slideshow from selected images
I hope this help clarify your questions. Please let me know if you need any further assistance.

KeymasterHello again Joffrey,
Thanks for reaching out with your questions!
I’m happy to hear you found a solution for the first part. Great job on that one!
how can we resend / regenerate the tickets once we switch the ticket product via WooCommerce back end?
I did some testing with this as this is not a typical scenario. Here’s the result.
When you edit an existing order and add new tickets or remove / refund tickets, then the ticket email will not be modified – as you have also experienced. Also, the tickets / attendees will not be added to the attendee list.
If you would like to mail a new ticket to a user, then you need to create a new WooCommerce order in the back-end. Note however, that also in this case the ticket will not show up in the attendee list.
If you would like the attendees to show up on the attendee list, then you will need to place an order on the front-end. This can be done in a hacky sort-of way. You can set up a coupon code to be able to get the tickets for free – just to get them into the system.
You can either make the purchase yourself and then change the order so you can add the proper recipient, then mail the tickets to them.
Or you can use a plugin like User Switching and place the order in the users name directly.
If you would like to move a user’s ticket from one event to the other, then you can do that on the attendees page. Just hover over the ticket you want to move and click on the ‘Move’ quick action that shows up.
This article might also provide some more useful information on moving tickets.
Let me know if this helps.

KeymasterHello Frankie,
My team mate, Cliff was kind enough to cook up a snippet for this. Remove the old one and put this in place.

Let me know if this does the trick for you so I can forward the props to Cliff. 🙂

KeymasterHey Lars,
Thanks for going Pro and welcome to the forums!
Great question there, I can help you with this one.
I believe the best approach would be creating a template override for the list view. You can read more about template overrides in our Themer’s Guide.
To get you started, you will need to override this file:
\wp-content\plugins\the-events-calendar\src\views\list\single-event.php
Line 33-35 contains the code you will need to adjust.
I would like to bring the field “link”
If you are referring to the “Event Website URL”, then you can get it with this function:
tribe_get_event_website_link();Hope this helps you to get started. Let me know if I can be of further assistance!

KeymasterHello Nick,
Thanks for reaching out with your question. I can help you with this one.
When you refund on order on the WooCommerce order page, then it will be noted on the attendee page just like the cancelled ones. Here’s a screenshot of that.
If an order has multiple tickets and you are refunding only a part of the tickets, then that will not be reflected on the attendee list. The status indicator on the attendee list shows the status of the WooCommerce order. If the order is set to complete, then all tickets related to that will be shown as complete. If the order is set to ‘Refunded’ then all tickets will show that, regardless of how many tickets are actually refunded from the order.
This is a technical limitation. In the order you see 3 tickets together, and when you refund 2 tickets, you cannot choose which 2 tickets you are refunding. You are just saying that “hey I don’t need 2 tickets”. It cannot be specified which 2 tickets, so that change cannot be reflected in the attendee list. There is no way to know on the attendee list which 2 tickets should be marked as refunded.
I hope this clarifies a bit.
While it doesn’t provide a solution, this article might be helpful.
When trying to move a ticket, it says something unexpected happened, but the attendee are still moved (but not counted).
Thanks for reporting this. We are aware of the issue and have a bugticket in place already. Our developers will get to fixing this soon.
it doesn’t count moving tickets
Yes, that is so. You will need to adjust the stock of the tickets manually after moving them around.
This article will provide you with more insights on this.
Let me know if you have further questions.
Cheers,
Andras -
