KeymasterHi Katie,
Thanks for reaching out!
I’m sorry to hear about the issues with importing. Let me try to help you with this.
Can you edit an event that is imported and check what the timezone of that event is? Is it UTC like on this screenshot?
I tried scheduling the feed and managed. It took some time to get the preview generated with the 200+ events but it’s there.
Did you manually import it the first time? If yes, are the events still there or did you delete them. If deleted, then did you also remove them from the ‘Ignored’ list?
Thanks and cheers,

KeymasterHi Adam,
Thanks for going Pro and welcome to the forums!
Let me try to help you with this one.
I checked the snippet you mentioned. On my test site I see no difference in the order of the events from one month to the other with or without the snippet. The order always stays the same.
Also, there is no code in place there which would alter the order of the events in month view.
Can you maybe share a screenshot or a url where this can be seen and explain in a bit more detail?
Thanks,
AndrasAndras
KeymasterHello Fation,
Thanks for reaching out!
Unfortunately I cannot recommend any service or plugin like that, I’m sorry.
Is there anything related to our plugins I can help you with?

KeymasterHello Michael,
Thanks for reaching out to us and I’m sorry about the issues you are having with WPML.
While we try to do our best to make our plugins compatible with WPML as much as possible, we can only do part of the work, as we don’t have control over WPML.
I understand your disappointment. Feedback from our users like yourself helps us log the issues and take a look and fix them. Thanks for reporting the above.
Please note that the versions that are most stable with WPML are the following:
- The Events Calendar 4.5.13
- Events Calendar Pro 4.4.17 (including the recurring events)
- Filter Bar 4.5.0
I would kindly like to ask you to downgrade to these versions and check if you are still experiencing the same issue.
Thanks and cheers,
AndrasAndras
KeymasterCiao
For the first part of your request with the CPTs, it is beyond the scope of the support we provide. Nonetheless I will try to get an extra pair of eyes to take a look at it, maybe someone has an idea.
As for the categories, you can use the following snippet in your functions.php file to enable the post categories for your events as well. Would that help?

KeymasterHi Kelli,
Sorry about the troubles with the plugin update.
It wouldn’t load through WP.
Did you receive any error messages when trying to upload through the WP dashboard?
There are 3 paths you can take for updating the plugins:
- if you have the license key entered under Events > Settings > Licenses tab then you will receive a notification on the wp dashboard that an update is available, and you can update the plugin with a click under Dashboard > Updates.
- Manual update through WordPress: under Plugins deactivate then delete the plugin. Then you can do to Plugins > Add new > upload and upload the zip file. Afterwards you can activate the plugin and you’re good to go.
- Manual update through ftp: deactivate the plugin, log in to your ftp server, delete the folder containing the plugin, i.e. ‘events-calendar-pro’. Upload the new files, activate the plugin on the WP dashboard and done.
Note, then in the case of #2 if you don’t delete the old version you will not be able to update the plugin. When doing #3 it is not necessary but recommended to delete the contents of the folder.
I would also recommend doing a full file and database backup before doing any updates on your site.
I hope this will allow you to have a seamless plugin update in the future.
I can’t imagine what plug in would cause this, it was working before.
It is always difficult to say. The code of the plugins and themes – ours and others as well – is changing with updates and sometimes even a minor change here or there can cause an issue.
Thanks for running the conflict test. Did you also manage to test the behavior with a default theme like twentyseventeen? It can happen that there is a custom code in your current theme that results in this behavior. Switching themes and testing can help us eliminate this possibility – or discover the source of the issue.
Sidenote:
Some errors showed up in the console window when loading the calendar page. There is a ‘500 internal server error’ for these three files. I don’t know if that’s connected, but might be worth checking out.
Let me know if you still get the issue with twentyseventeen and we can dig further.

KeymasterHi Israel,
Sorry to keep you waiting. Indeed, the forums are more busy at the moment and we try to do our best to get a reply to every thread within 24 hours, including the started ones. Thanks for your patience!
I’m stoked to hear that you managed to find the source of the issue. Thanks for sharing all the details and the solution. I’m quite sure this will be helpful for others as well.
Is there anything else I can help you with?

KeymasterHi Joffrey,
Happy to hear moving the tickets worked out!
Yeah, #3 is just about right, the ticket ID is retained and there is no quick’n’easy solution to change that, only through the database. When you do that be mindful that there might be references to that ticket id in other tables or other entries, like in wp_postmeta.

KeymasterHi Nicholas,
Sorry to keep you waiting. I did run some test and we might have a bug here.
I logged a bugticket for this so our developers can take a look at it.
At this time unfortunately I cannot suggest any workarounds, only changing the setting to “Overwrite my event with any changes from the original source”.
I’m really sorry about this inconvenience. I hope we will be able to fix this soon.
I am going to set the status of this ticket to “pending fix” and we will update it once the fix is released.
If you have any new questions or issues please create a new ticket and reference this one.
Thanks and cheers,

KeymasterHello Reshu,
Thank you for reaching out to use with your question.
I’m not quite sure what you mean by us re-selling our products. We develop the products and we are selling them, not re-selling them.
I’m sorry to say that we are not able to do what you request. I believe the best course of action would be if your client purchased a license on our website, since they will be the final users of the product.
I hope this helps. Let me know if you have any more questions.
Cheers,
