    Thanks for reaching out!

    As a first it is recommended to use the latest versions of all our plugins. Unfortunately we are not able to provide support for earlier versions and mixed versions as we cannot guarantee cross-plugin compatibility.

    Please update your calendar and ticketing plugins and re-check if you are still encountering the issue with the QR codes.

    We haven’t changed how QR codes are generated, so if it was working before, it should also still work.

    When the QR codes are generated they are saved under wp-content/uploads folder (maybe wp-content/uploads/2017/11 if you use the month directory structure). You can log in to your server and check if they are there. If not, there is an issue with the generation / saving of the files. But first an update is definitely recommended.

    Thanks for reaching out with your question! That’s a good one.

    I believe the easiest would be to create a template override for this file:

    the-events-calendar-community-events\src\views\community\event-list.php

    (More details about creating a template override in our Themer’s Guide)

    Line 79-90 handles creating the options in the dropdown.

    If you add a piece of code like this right after the foreachin line 79, that will remove the two columns from the dropdown as well as from the table.

    <?php if( $column_slug == "category" || $column_slug == "end_date" ) continue; ?>

    Note, category and the end date will still be visible in the code, but not accessible via the UI.

    If you want to make it disappear from the code as well, then you will need some further customization later in the code.

    While I start investigating the issue I would kindly ask you to go through our conflict testing guide. That will help us eliminate the possibility of a conflicting plugin / theme. Let me know what you find.

    Hi Joi,

    1. Since it is doable with Filter Bar it should be doable with an advanced customization as well. Events are a custom post type and are stored in wp_posts and wp_postmeta tables.

    2. Doing this with ics files will most probably not work. You can try developing a custom solution utilizing the REST API which is supported by our core plugin The Events Calendar.

    Or if you are syncing / importing from a TEC based calendar into another TEC based one, then you can use Event Aggregator’s “Other URL” import source and feed it the url of a category of events, like this:

    https://domain.com/events/category/{category-slug}/

    3. We should be able to accommodate this with an Event Hub license, which you can get on the Event Aggregator product page. (And now there’s this Black Friday thing going on… πŸ˜‰ )

    Hi Joi,

    1. Filter bar utilizes ajax, so the page is not reloaded when a filter is changed, only the calendar content is refreshed.

    2. I did. Initially I thought it is connected with the last paragraph about EA. Now I realized it’s most probably a separate question. In this case I need to ask for some clarification to know what exactly you mean by “Subscribe to all events or category-filtered results”. Do you want rss feeds or emails to the users or … ? Please give me as many details as possible.

    3. I will need to check that with the EA product group. Please hang in there.

    Hi Isaiah,

    Thanks for checking that and getting back to me.

    Did you re-save the ticket? Sometimes what is needed also is that you change the setting, then change it back. E.x. change it to unlimited capacity, save, change it back, save.

    Our updates do not change or adjust any settings by default, so for example if your capacity was -1 due to a bug, after update that will not be automatically fixed. It needs to be manually done by the users. Automatic fixing is very tricky and unreliable in most cases unfortunately.

    Please check if the re-saving helps. Also please confirm that the inventory value of the WooCommerce product is also correct.

    If you would like to put in a suggestion you are welcome to do that on our UserVoice page which we have for exactly that reason.

    We don’t have a public buglist I could share with you. I am going to set the status of this ticket to “pending fix” and we will update it once the fix is released, so if you have email notifications set for this thread, then you’ll get an email about it.

    Also please feel free to ping me in this thread any time if you’d like to have an update. Since the bug was filed yesterday there is no movement on it yet.

    Hi Kevin,

    1. I just re-tested your feed with the event “Venture CafΓ© Kendall CONNECT – Speed Networking” (October 10) and it imported properly. Can you please check if the accented event titles are coming in fine for you?

    2. I pinged the manager to draw attention to this bug. I do hope it will get a fix in 2 weeks, as other users are having trouble with this as well.

    3. What I meant here is I tried importing the events from vencaf.org/calendar and that worked fine. But now I realized that most probably vencaf is the destination of your imported events, it’s not a source. Is that right?

    Is it like that you don’t have events in the future on that venue, so the venue doesn’t show up in the filter bar?

    Hi,

    You can find the css files under src\resources\css\ in all plugin folders.

    There are quite a number of them, we are supplying both regular and minimized versions.

    What you can do is create the regular version and afterwards minify it with a service like this.

    Depending on the setting you have under Events > Settings > Display tab you should start with one of these:

    • tribe-events-full.css
    • tribe-events-skeleton.css
    • tribe-events-theme.css

    Well, if November 23 gives you December 20, then you could try October 27 if that gives you November 23. πŸ™‚ (Worth a shot.)

    I see you have 4 pages worth of events when filtering for Nov. 23. If you go to page 4 what start dates do you see there? Is that still Dec. 20?

    There are 2 things we can do as next.

    1. Run a conflict test. Basically deactivate all plugins except for the calendar ones and APM and check if that solves it. That can eliminate the possibility of a plugin conflict.

    2. Can you share with me a copy of your database? I will try to check around a bit.

    Hi Brett,

    I believe the -1 issue has also been fixed in the latest release that launched this week.

    As for the stock not showing properly on the list view, I can confirm that it is a bug. I have submitted a bugticket and our developers will take a look at it as soon as possible. Please hang in there.

    And meanwhile I even got an answer.

    This knowledgebase article gives you a detailed explanation.

    The important parts:

    “All licenses covers a number of unique domain activations specified by their type, and your daily import limit is shared across all activations for a given key. (A β€œdomain” is defined here as a unique top-level domain or subdomain. yoursite.com and sub.yoursite.com would appear as 2 domain activations to Event Aggregator, while yoursite.com and yoursite.com/sub would occupy just 1 activation slot.)”

    So if you are running the multisite with sub-directory structure, then you can do that with one license. You only need to be mindful of your daily import limit. For that we offer packages of 100, 300 or 1000 imports per day.

    “If your Event Aggregator license provides up to 100 scheduled imports per day and allows for up to 10 total domain activations, this means that you can schedule and run up to 100 import tasks of any size in any way across 1-10 domains.”
