    Hello Brett,

Sorry about the confusion. I check the ticket on this and the fix hasn’t shipped yet. It is scheduled for early December, likely next week. Please hang in there.

    Cheers,

    Hello Julia,

Sorry about the confusion here. Let me try to help you straighten this out and get your website working as it should.

I see you have purchased our Event Tickets Plus plugin. Thank you for that!

In order to have it work you will also need the following 2 plugins.

    • The Events Calendar
    • Event Tickets

Let me give you a full list of steps what you need to do.

To install the above 2 plugins you need to follow these same steps:

    • In your WordPress admin area go to Plugins > Add new
    • You will see a search box on the right site above the plugin list. Enter there “The Events Calendar” / “Event Tickets”.
    • Once the plugin shows up in the result list click ‘Install’, and once that’s done click on ‘Activate’

When you are done installing these 2 plugins then go to your downloads page at theeventscalendar.com (here). From here you should be able to download Event Tickets Plus. Once you saved it to your PC follow these steps to install:

    • In your WordPress admin area go to Plugins > Add new
    • At the top of the screen you will see an ‘Upload Plugin’ button, click on that (screenshot)
    • Browse for the zip file you just downloaded and click ‘Install Now’. This can take up to a minute.
    • Once that is done click on ‘Activate’. (If you don’t see that anywhere, then go to your Plugins, you should already see Event Tickets Plus in the list. Look for it and click on Activate

With this you should have all calendar plugins activated.

Now to enter the license key go to Events > Settings > Licenses tab, look for the field labelled ‘Event Tickets Plus’ and enter the license key there. (You can find your license key on the License Keys page.)

I hope this little guide will help you with it. Let me know if you need any further help.

Note, to be able to sell tickets on your website you will also need an ecommerce plugin like WooCommerce or Easy Digital Downloads.

    Cheers,
    Andras

    Hi Andrew,

Thanks for using our plugins and welcome to the forums!

At the bottom of the calendar pages you should see an export button. You should be able to use that url to import to google calendar.

Let me know if that does the trick.

    Cheers,

    Hello Dave,

Thanks for reaching out to us with your question.

Sorry to hear that you didn’t receive the email. Not sure what could have happened. You can try to check in your spam folder, unfortunately sometimes our emails end up there. If you can share with me the address you used I can check our system if it went out or not.

I have set up a new password for you which you can use to log in. I have sent it to you via email, I hope it arrives. Please change it afterwards, for your security.

Nonetheless, you should be able to still purchase with discount today.

Add the desired product to your cart. If it is Events Calendar Pro Personal for $89, then you can use this coupon code in the shopping cart: REST10

(If your total amount will be higher, then here are the other codes you can use.)

Once on the cart page you can enter the code after clicking on “Got a coupon?” Here’s a screenshot.

If it still doesn’t want to work, let me know and we’ll figure something. πŸ˜‰

    Cheers,
    Andras

    Hi gnomegames,

Thanks for reaching out! That’s a great question!

Is there a way we can provide and manage in store coupon codes or other such physical sale and have the customer still purchase online, or some other technique?

I’m not quite sure I fully understand what you mean by this.

You can easily set up coupon codes for your website with both WooCommerce and Easy Digital Downloads.

As face-to-face sale I can imagine the following options:

    • have a PC / tablet with internet connection in the store and either ask the customer to add their purchase there, or you can do it for them asking for their details
    • With WooCommerce you can manually add orders under WooCommerce > Orders > Add new. Here’s the WooCommerce documentation detailing how to do this.

I hope this helps. If you meant something different, then please give me a bit more details of the scenario(s) you imagine.

    Thanks and cheers,
    Andras

    Hello webmall,

    Thanks for reaching out!

Here is our guide to generating an invoice for your purchases, including adding your VAT number.

If that is not sufficient, please let me know what exactly you need and we will try to accommodate as best we can.

    Hi Omar,

Thanks for reaching out with your questions. I’d be happy to answer them for you.

    1. There are different options for importing. You can do a once-only import or you can set up a scheduled import that can run automatically every once in a while (every 30 minutes, every hour, daily or weekly, or on demand / manually re-rerun)

Apart from this you can set up how the imports should be handled, whether you want to import changes made to the source or you would rather keep then changes you made on the site. (The Event Update Authority settings on top of this screenshot.)

    2. Yes, the Facebook url of the event will be imported and displayed on the event page.

Let me know if you have any further questions.

    Cheers,
    Andras

If the old events are still saved in your system / in your database, and they are published (not draft of trashed or similar), then users should be able to paginate back to previous events.

On the month view there is usually link to the previous month below the calendar. (screenshot)

On the list view there should be a link to previous events. (screenshot)

It’s the same when using Filter Bar.

These links will not be visible if there are no events past / before the date you are currently looking at.

    Does this help?

    Hi,

Unfortunately the screenshot didn’t come through. Images sent in an email as an attachment don’t come through, they get discarded unfortunately. Could you please log in to the forums and upload them directly to the thread?

Also please make sure that you are using the latest versions of our plugins and that you went through our conflict testing guide.

    Thanks!

    Hey Christopher,

There should be a hook when completing a WooCommerce purchase. I would use that to use one of the above functions to check the “sold out” status and then save the meta.

You can find a list of WooCommerce hooks and filters here.

Also this article references some hooks related to orders, but not sure how up-to-date that is.

Thanks, I will get that checked.

If you decide to go for the Event Hub license let me know so we can set it up to work for you.

Also, if you should have any further questions, let me know.

I will set the topic to pending fix so it doesn’t get auto-closed in case you need more time.
