    Hello there dswiese,

Under Events > Help you can turn on the Event log and check the entries there after a day or two.

Also, you should be able to see the times a scheduled import was triggered when you go to Events > Imports > History tab. If you hover over the details in the ‘When’ column, then a tooltip will give you the exact timing.

Does this help? Let me know.

    Cheers,

    Hello Mark,

    Thanks for reaching out!

Based on what you say I understand that you want to be able to import events from other calendars.

If that is the case then Event Aggregator might be a solution for you. It can import from several sources, including Facebook, MeetUp, Google Cal, iCalendars / ics files and other WP sites running The Events Calendar.

Is this what you are looking for? Let me know if you have any further questions.

    Cheers,
    Andras

    Hello again,

After initially importing and event is there a way to update event information from Eventbrite to WP?

The only way of doing that would be deleting the event from your WP site and re-importing it.

If not is there a way to override the plugin so that changes made to the WP site do not change the Eventbrite event site?

Based on the test I ran currently, then changes made on the WP site did not carry over to Eventbrite.

    • I imported the EB event. It imported correctly.
    • Changed event start time on EB. Tried to re-import but not allowed.
    • Changed event start time on WP site and updated. Update didn’t carry over to the EB site.

    Are you experiencing something else?

    Hello Maryam,

Thanks for reaching out! I’m sorry to hear about your issue with the EventBrite widget.

Can you give me some very specific event details to which it has happened and when? Some screenshots of how the event is set up would greatly help.

To narrow down the source of the issue please try the following: when the widget disappears again for an event – eventhough it is still supposed to show – deactivate all plugins except for the calendar and ticketing ones and see if the widget reappears.

If the widget becomes visible, then likely there is a conflicting plugin that makes this happen. If the widget doesn’t appear, then we need to dig further.

To eliminate an issue caused by differing timezones you can try the following: when the widget disappears, then change the timezone of the event backwards. (E.x. if the event timezone was New York, then change it to Los Angeles.) Check if the widget re-appears with the different timezone. If you cannot change the timezone of the event, then change the timezone of WordPress under Settings > General.

Looking forward to helping you fix this.

    Cheers,

    Hello Damien,

    Thanks for reaching out!

Sorry to hear about your issue.

I’d like to ask for some more information to get this straight.

You created and saved some fieldsets with version 4.6.1

You could still insert those fieldsets to tickets with version 4.6.1

After you updated to 4.6.1.1 you couldn’t insert the saved fieldsets any more.

    Is that correct?

Do you get an error message?

Can you see the previously saved fieldsets under Events > Ticket Fieldsets?

Do you see the fieldset list when you want to add it to a ticket and open the dropdown?

    Thanks,
    Andras

    Hello Stacy,

Thanks for reaching out! I can help you with that one.

It looks like your calendar is showing the mobile view. That usually happens when a caching plugin / minification is involved.

As a first please check what happens if you clear the cache, disable minification and the caching plugin. If that solves it, then re-enable the caching plugin without minification.

If you are still having issues, then please follow the instructions in our conflict testing guide.  This will help discover if any other plugins might have an effect on this.

Let me know what you find.

    Cheers,

    Hello soontario,

Currently, Filter Bar only appears on the event archive views (Month, List, Photo, etc.)

It does not display when using the tribe_events shortcode, and it’s not able to be used standalone, having just the Filter Bar on the home page, for example.

If that is something you would like as a feature I encourage you to visit our User Voice Page and either upvote an existing request or make a new request there.

This allows others who are interested in that feature to easily voice their support. We frequently review suggestions there to find out which ones are popular, then we implement as many of them as we can.

    Thanks for your understanding!

If you have any further questions, please let me know.

    Cheers,

    Hello Nick,

Thanks for reaching out to us with your question.

At the moment only The Events Calendar and Events Calendar PRO support the REST API. Event Tickets and Event Tickets Plus is on our long term roadmap, but not there yet, thus ticket information and QR codes are not yet accessible via the REST API.

When a ticket is purchased by a visitor they will receive an email including the QR code, if that helps.

Let me know if you have any further questions.

    Hello April,

Thanks for purchasing our plugins and welcome to the forums!

If I understand correctly you wish to import a fieldset for tickets that collects extra attendee meta data.

Unfortunately that is not possible at the moment, it is not part of the feature set of our plugins.

Events Calendar Pro comes with ‘Additional Fields’, which you can access under Events > Settings > Additional fields tab. With the help of this you can add extra information to Events. It is possible to import these Additional Fields. (For details check out this article.)

Event Tickets Plus comes with the ability to collect extra attendee information with the tickets / RSVPs you are selling. Importing field sets like this is not possible at the moment.

I understand if this is disappointing, I do hope you will still find our plugins useful.

If you think that this is a feature you would like to see I encourage you to visit our User Voice Page and either upvote an existing request or make a new request there.

Please let me know if you have any further questions.

    Cheers,
    Andras

    Hi Sarah,

Thanks for sharing the infos and checking that.

Please go to Events > Imports > Scheduled imports tab and open up the scheduled import for editing. Check if there is any date entered in the ‘Refine’ area of the settings. Here’s a screenshot of what you should look for.

If there is a date in the past (e.x. October) and you have one month set as a limit, then events in December will not be imported.

What you can also try is to increase the limit to 2 months.

Let me know how that works out.

    Cheers,

Happy to hear that one issue got resolved. Awesome!

Thanks for sharing those, that helped me pinpoint the issue at hand.

We are aware of a bug which shows the total capacity of an event in list view, and not the available number of tickets.

A fix has already been developed an is currently in testing phase. (It passed the first round of tests already.)

If all goes according to plan, than the fix is going to ship with the next maintenance release early December. It’s coming soon, please hang in there.

I am going to set the status of this ticket to “pending fix” and we will update it once the fix is released.

If you have any new questions or issues please create a new ticket and we’ll be happy to help you out.

    Thanks and cheers,
    Andras

    Hi Dean,

I’m sorry to hear our solution didn’t cut it for you. Also happy to hear you found one that does!

Based on the ICS / iCal standard every event should have a unique identifier (UID) which stays unchanged throughout the course of the life of an event. This is the only way to securely identify an event. However, Outlook is not following fully the ics standards unfortunately, which is causing challenges. In the outlook feeds the UID changes for every event with every request, which makes it very difficult to “keep track” of them.

I wish you good luck with your project down the road. Should you ever decided to give our products a try again we’ll be happy to help you out.

    Cheers,
    Andras
