    I apologize for this issue. We have already identified the source of this bug and are already working on a quick resolution.

    Until then the solution is to roll back to the previous versions:

    Hang in there, the fix should be coming very soon!

    As for the PRO plugin issue, probably there was a glitch during update. You can fix this if you log in to your hosting via FTP and delete the ‘events-calendar-pro’ folder (it’s under wp-content/plugins) manually.

    Thanks for reaching out to us. I’m really sorry about the issues with the update.

    I just realized that after the update the default view was set to List (by you, not me). I did want that since month wasn’t working. Why did you set this to List?

    I apologize for this. Not sure why this has happened. When our plugins are updated then the settings are not touched, they should remain as they were.

    We have received similar reports and are investigating this issue with high speed. Until then the best is to stay on the previous versions. Please hang in there.

    Now I have two plugins listed for Basic (see screenshot).

    This happens if there are 2 separate copies of the plugin in different folders. I would suggest deleting both, and re-installing The Events Calendar (4.6.10.1) manually. You can download it from your account page or from .org.

    Your settings shouldn’t be touched. If you want to go the absolutely safe route, then log in to your server via FTP, delete the 2 folders manually, and upload the unzipped ‘the-events-calendar’ folder manually.

    I am going to set the status of this ticket to “pending fix” and we will update it once the fix is released.

    To get you started, yes, it does look like a theme conflict. I would suggest to get in touch with the developers of the theme to help you out with this. There might be a piece of code in their theme that causes this error.

    Oh man, that’s bad. Not quite sure what has happened, I checked it on my test install, and events still showed with the month view shortcode after running an update on TEC and PRO. Let’s try to solve this.

    Did you also update something else than the calendar plugins?

    Did you try to deactivate all other plugins and switch to twentyseventeen and check if that works? (This is actually the start of conflict testing.)

    What shortcode are you using exactly? Is it  ‘[tribe_events view=”month”]’ or something more sophisticated?

    Can you share a database dump with me? Can be either state (before or after update), best would be both.

    Thanks for reaching out! I apologize for the somewhat belated reply. We are answering requests as fast as we can.

    I’m sorry about this issue. That’s definitely not good. Let’s try to fix that.

    My hunch is that some numbers in the database got misaligned somehow for that ticket.

    Probably the fastest resolution would be to create a new ticket for the event with the appropriate stock / capacity.

    And set the ‘End sale date’ for the current ticket to a past date so that doesn’t show up.

    I would be happy to further investigate this issue. For that I will need the following:

    • share your system information with me
    • Share with me a database dump / export (you can do this with a plugin like this)
    • share with me a detailed step-by-step description on what has happened (how was the event / ticket originally set up; how many tickets were sold; how was the stock increased, etc.)
