ParticipantHi there Olyn,
I’m happy to help out here!
If you know how many posts the RSS feed will pull in, you can set the limit and customize it to display by publish date. We have details about customizing the RSS feed here in our knowledgebase. 🙂
Please check out that guide and let me know if you have any specific questions about executing this.
Best,
Shelby 🙂

ParticipantHi Rogerio,
Thanks for reaching out, I’m happy to answer your questions! 🙂
Unfortunately, we don’t have the ability to charge people to post events.
Please let me know if there’s anything else I can clarify for you or any questions I can answer!
Best,

ParticipantHey David,
I’m not sure if we import this info, or if we have the ability to import it. I just wanted to drop you a line to let you know that I’m looking into it, and in the meantime, you can explore our knowledgebase articles about using EA, to see if there’s anything that might help out, but I think I’m going to have to get the info from the dev team. 🙂
Thanks!

ParticipantHey there Andrea,
In the spirit of not re-inventing the wheel, I think you’ll be able to accomplish this by following Hunter’s guidelines in this thread. 🙂
Please please let me know if you have any specific questions about implementing this after going through the thread.
Best,
Shelby

ParticipantHey again Geet,
So good news and bad news:
Good new first – I know what’s causing this! After taking a look at your plugins, I see you have Yoast SEO installed, and after some digging, I learned that it’s generating a sitemap that includes these URLs.
Bad news – I haven’t figured out how to fix it yet. 🙂
So bear with me, but I’m trying to figure out how to help you with this. That said, it may be worth taking a look at the following Yoast sitemap resources, and looping in Yoast’s support on this one as well. 🙂
How to Customize the Sitemap Index

ParticipantHey Geet!
This is very helpful. I’m looking into possible solutions for this.
Could you please send me a link to your sitemap as well?
Thanks,

ParticipantHi again Luke,
So sorry to disappoint! We have several new features in the works and bugs to fix, so though it may seem simple, we do have to prioritize our efforts dev-wise. I’m sure you understand. 🙂
One thing you can do, is suggest this feature on our feature request system here. Or, if you do end up figuring this one out and share your solution with us, we can try to put it on the dev schedule for extensions possibly.
Thanks for understanding!
Best,
Shelby 🙂

ParticipantHi there Andrea,
I’m happy to help you out here! 🙂
In order to help, I’ll need to know which e-commerce solution are you using with our plugins?
In the meantime, you may find my thread from earlier this year helpful. 🙂
Let me know and we’ll work from there!
Best,
Shelby 🙂

ParticipantHi John,
I’m happy to help answer you questions! 🙂
You could possibly accomplish this by pulling events in from the RSS feeds our plugin generates. I found the following resources that would help you do this:
I hope this helps answer your question! Please let me know if I can be of further assistance. 🙂

ParticipantHey Barbara,
I’m happy to help out here. 🙂
We take care of account issues like this via email. You can email us using the form here. Just choose “Trouble Accessing My Account” from the drop down (I know this isn’t the issue, but it’s the closest in the options).
Please let me know if there’s anything else I can help you with here!
Best,
Shelby 🙂

ParticipantHey Sierra,
Thanks for using The Events Calendar, I’m happy to help! In order to help, I would like to get some more information from you, if I can:
-First, if you could please test for conflicts by following this documentation? Let me know what you find. This will help me determine how deeply we need to look into the specific configuration of your site, or if this is a bug. 🙂
-Can you send me a link to your site so I can see this firsthand? I can often be more helpful in giving solutions to problems I can see and interact with.
Let me know about these items, and we’ll get this worked out! 🙂
Thanks!
Shelby

ParticipantHey there Chris,
I’m happy to help out here! 🙂
So the bad news is that this is related to a bug, the good news is that it’s a known bug (meaning it’s on our radar and we’ll be working on it asap), AND that we have a work around for this in the meantime. 🙂
I’d suggest utilizing the Manage Transients plugin we list in our favorite developer tools in this knowledgebase article here.
In the meantime, I’ll link this thread to our internal bug report, so that you’ll get updates as we make progress on this issue. 🙂
Take care,
Shelby 🙂

ParticipantHi Justin,
I’m happy to help out here and to provide some clarity. 🙂
Unfortunately, even though our plugins may be bundled themes by theme developers, Â we don’t guarantee 100% compatibility with any themes except the WordPress default themes.
That said, I’d like you to take a couple of steps for me so that I can better help you:
-First, if you could please test for conflicts by following this documentation? Let me know what you find. This will help me determine how deeply we need to look into the specific configuration of your site, or if this is a bug. 🙂
-Can you send me a link to your site so I can see this firsthand? I can often be more helpful in giving solutions to problems I can see and interact with. Thanks!
