ParticipantHi Robert,
I’m happy to help you out here! π
I’ve taken a look at the links you sent and the corresponding feeds, and they seem to be outputting in order (Blog Post 1, Blog Post 2, etc.). You can send these links to your feed aggregator you mentioned, to show them the discrepancy:
Let me know if there’s anything else I can do to help you out with this! π

ParticipantHi David,
Thanks for using our plugins, I’m happy to help you out with this! π
Sounds like you’re trying to make some pretty cool changes! π I want to make sure I’m understanding exactly what you’re trying to do, could you possibly send me some screenshots denoting the changes you want to make and a link to your site? This will help me give you better guidance in this matter if I understand the application of your request more directly (plus I’m a visual person).
In the meantime, I think you may find our Themer’s Guide and our Functions List helpful for the types of changes you’re trying to make. π Once I hear back from you, hopefully I can give you more specific suggestions & resources.
Cheers!

ParticipantHi Mark,
Thanks for hanging in there. π I’m happy to help you out with this one!
I actually have been looking into different ways to possibly execute this, and there are some workarounds, but it would be difficult to implement it exactly the way you described. So, I’m going to describe a couple of ways this could potentially work:
- You can sell the series as an event that spans from first date to last date and put the details of the class dates in the event description.
- .You can sell the first event with WooCommerce (or your chosen E-Commerce platform, and sell the rest of the events via “RSVP” with no cost associated, and then include in the details that it requires the purchase of the first event in the series to attend (perhaps use additional fields to require an answer as to whether they’ve already purchased via the first event)
Either way, you can collect dietary preferences, guardian information, etc through our additional fields feature in Events Calendar PRO.
Please let me know if this answers your questions. π

ParticipantHi again,
Since the issue seems to be isolated to conflicts with the way that the theme interacts with our plugin, Iβd suggest reaching out to the theme developer for support with this issue, as we, unfortunately, canβt support theme and plugin conflicts on this forum. We use this forum to support issues with our plugins out of the box, as configured with the latest version of WordPress, WordPress default themes, and the rest of our plugin suite.
We do offer settings to try and bridge the gap between our styling and theme stylings, I’d recommend trying some of the other options under “Events > Settings > Display >Β Default stylesheet used for events templates.” See if one of the other settings helps out at all.
Best of luck with your project! Iβll leave this open in case any other users who might be using those plugins as well, are able to provide you with any tips. Thanks for understanding & let us know should you have any questions in the future!
Best,
Shelby ?

ParticipantHey Lindsey,
So, if you want to change your date settings calendar-wide, you can adjust the date format settings Β in WP-Admin > Events > Settings > Display. What you’re asking for would be the Date with year format.
If you’re looking to customize the event listings only (as you linked to) you should let me know, and I can give you more specific advice, though it will require some customizations code-wise. π
Cheers,

ParticipantHey Matthew,
Thanks for drawing this to our attention! I’m going to send word of this little mix up to the dev team, so it can hopefully be fixed soon. π
With regards to changing the List_View template in your theme, you can follow the guidance in our Themer’s Guide here.Β After referencing that documentation, please let me know if you have any more specific questions that I can help answer about making those changes.

ParticipantHey Rodney,
Thanks for keeping me in the loop. π
Because I’m unable to replicate this issue on my testing server, I really need you to work through the steps here to test for a conflict. You don’t need to create a recurring event to test, you’ll just need to change the settings as described, and see if you’re able to perform everything normally then. π
Let me know what you find out & we’ll go from there!

ParticipantHey Licia,
Thanks for using our plugins, I’m happy to help! In order to help, I would like to get some more information from you, if I can:
-First, if you could please test for conflicts by following this documentation? Let me know what you find. This will help me determine how deeply we need to look into the specific configuration of your site, or if this is a bug. π
-Can you send me a link to your site so I can inspect the code? I can often be more helpful in giving solutions to problems I can see and interact with.
Thanks!

I visited your site, and I’m not seeing the remaining ticket quantities listed. Did you happen to resolve this already? If not, please feel free to clarify. π
Thanks!

ParticipantHey William,
I’m happy to help out here! π
Can you try this bit of CSS and let me know if it works out for you? This won’t remove the line, but will add some space so that it’s aligned more like the desktop version:
.tribe-is-responsive.tribe-mobile .tribe-events-page-title { margin-top: 1em; }Let me know how that goes, and we’ll work from there!

August 15, 2017 at 1:32 pm in reply to: Append fixed content (shortcode) to events of a given category #1335730Shelby
ParticipantHey Louise,
Thanks for posting, & Iβm happy to help. π
Unfortunately, this kind of request would require some customization that we can’t provide on these forums. These forums are intended to troubleshoot issues and field bug reports with our plugins as configured with the latest version of WordPress, WordPress default themes, and our suite of plugins with their out of the box features.
However, we do have some resources for guidance making changes yourselfΒ here. If you need to find someone to help with the customizations, we also have some resources for finding help here.
Hope this helps, and thanks for understanding!
Best,

ParticipantHi Rob,
Thanks for using our plugins, I’m happy to help and provide some clarification!
Unfortunately, at this time, it’s not a built in option to change the view for recurring events, but this change could be made with some customization. I recommend checking out the following resources if you’d like to try making these changes yourself or to find someone to help out with this:
TEC Shortcodes Overview (To check out the available options in the shortcodes)
Themer’s Guide (Help for making the changes yourself)
Customization Guide (Help finding help with making custom changes)Best,

ParticipantHi Mary,
There is definitely a way to do this, and there are a couple ways to go about it. I highly recommend checking out both of these threads and letting me know if either Josh or Hunter’s proposed solutions work for you?
Let me know how that goes, and we’ll work on it form here. π
Best,
Shelby ?
