MemberHey Steven. Talked to our dev about this today. To only show events from today, we’d suggest you pass in startDate and endDate parameters into tribe_get_events with both of them set to today (with this format 2011-10-11). That help?

MemberThanks for confirming. We’re going to have to look into this for 2.0.2; seems an error is being saved into a custom field. If you have an option editor of some kind installed, it may be helpful to clear out your PRO-related options (and wipe all custom fields) and test again to see if the issue resolves.
If not, we’ve got this as a high priority issue for 2.0.2 (which we’re working on now and aim to have out within a couple weeks). Apologies for the delay in the interim.

MemberHey guys. Thanks for confirming; I’m unsure what the issue could be at this point. I’ve got our developer John looking at it now but should note that he’s out the rest of the week – so I won’t have a response for a few days still. Sarah, if you need to revert back to the 1.3.3 version in the interim I can get you the code.
In the interim, might this be of some help? http://support.makedesignnotwar.com/discussion/1446 That’s related to the old 1.3.3 plugin but may be a good place to start until we can get someone with dev knowledge to take a closer look.

MemberThanks David 🙂 Awesome to hear that did the trick. If anything else arises going forward, give me a shout and I’ll do what I can to help.
Ryan: Let me know if you’re still having issues.
Rob
MemberHey Adam. You should be prompted to update within the plugins list on the backend of your site.
Ginny: thanks for reporting that…it’s a new issue best I can tell. Can you provide some steps to recreate? i’ll see what I can do to recreate/get fixed for a future release.

MemberHi Lisa. Thanks for the note; sorry to hear you’re having issues. Is this still an issue? I just checked out the site you linked to and while it appears PRO is active, none of the pages are displaying the title of the latest event.
If it’s an issue still, it’d be awesome if you could point me to a page where I can check it out. Have you upgraded to 2.0.1 yet?

MemberThe easiest would be to go into your wp_config file and see whether wp_debug was set to true/false. On the plugin side, there’s a checkbox under Settings –> The Events Calendar to turn on or off debug mode as well.
Rob
MemberMy pleasure. If only all support requests were as straightforward. Let me know if anything else comes up; realize I have an email from you in my inbox which I’ll get you a response to over the next 24 hours. Apologies for the delay there.
Rob
MemberWeird. Since I’m not seeing the code directly (it gets stripped out by the editor here, looks like) it’d be awesome if you could send it my way in a .txt file (rob at tri.be) and i could test on my end.
Rob
MemberExcellent to hear, Cynthia.
Sandy: how about you? Still having problems after the 2.0.1 upgrade?
Rob
MemberHey John. You may be able to tie it into the existing calendar date picker; our developer (also named John) would know better than I. He’s out for the rest of the week but I should be able to get you an answer come Monday. Sorry it can’t be sooner than that. If you figure it out in the meantime just give me a shout and I’ll tell him to ignore it.
Rob
MemberAny chance the new release fixed this one, too?

Sandy: how about you? Still having problems after the 2.0.1 upgrade?
Rob
MemberHey Brian. This does look like a legitimate bug; I’ve sent it John’s way to confirm and if so we’ll get it patched for 2.0.2. FYI John is out the rest of the week but once he’s back hopefully we’ll be able to provide a suggestion for the shorter term as we work to fix this for 2.0.2. Sorry about the inconvenience.
Rob
MemberThanks for checking it on the default WP theme; what theme are you on? If you can pass its name along, I can get our dev to take a look for the next release to find a way to better integrate the two.
In the short-term, have you tried playing around with the different templating options available under Settings –> The Events Calendar, to see if any of those do the trick?
Lastly: did the 2.0.1 upgrade fix this, by chance? Always worth a shot 🙂
