Hey Adam, what version of IE are you on? Can you include a screenshot as well by chance?

Hi Ginny. Thanks for the follow-up; weirdly I just tested both of these and was unable to recreate either. Are you on 2.0.1, or just 2.0?

If so – can you check whether this is a conflict with either another plugin (by deactivating those you’ve got active one at a time), or with theme (tested by reverting to 2011 WP theme)? Let me know if after doing all that you’re still having issues…if so, might need an admin account to test myself. But let’s try this first. Also, please make sure you’ve gone into your permalinks page and saved (no need to make changes; just save). Thanks in advance!

Probably best to upgrade to the latest stable 1.x release (1.3.3) before attempting the upgrade. If you need it, email me (rob at tri.be) and I’ll get you the code.

From there, all you need to do is deactivate the old; activate the new; and your events will be automatically converted. No need to modify any other files on your server unless you customized the 1.x code previously. If you were just using the out-of-the-box install though, the migration is automatic.

Let me know if you have any other questions on this and I’d be happy to help.

Sure. John’s out the rest of this week, but I’ll be able to get you a response on this early next.

Hey Adam. Our dev is out all of this week, so unfortunately no dev-related support issues are going to be addressed until Monday. Should have you a response then though. Apologies for the delay in the interim.

Hey Nathan. If you’re using PRO, users can subscribe by going to /events/ical/ and plugging that in as a subscription on the iCal side. We’ve got the same functionality coming for Google Calendar in 2.1.

Hey Chris – thanks for the follow-up here, apologies to hear you’re having issues. Great to see that it looks like you’ve resolved those.

If these come back, or if you identify what caused it, let me know and I’ll try to recreate it / log for the team to address accordingly.

Since I am unable to recreate this on the default 2011 theme, it sounds like this may be specific to your installs. What happens if you deactivate your other plugins? It could be either a conflict with one of those, or an issue with the theme itself. (That last bit can be tested by reverting to the 2011 theme – no need to do so permanently, but I’ll need to check that to help diagnose. Thanks!

You’d have to make some edits to the code…let me check with our dev on this to see what file you’d modify.

If you’re on the backend of your site, you should go to the Plugins list – where there will be an actual update prompt. Are you not seeing that?

Hey Joerg. You are correct: this is unchangeable on the backend, but you could modify it by changing the core files of the plugin. You are also correct regarding your assessment of how the PO/MO files work.

So are you saying you need to have two different navigation elements? Wouldn’t using categories to sub-divide this better accomplish what you’re going for, with less effort required?

Hey Anthony. Sorry to hear you’re having issues here. Sorry that the settings page verbage wasn’t clear enough; we actually attempted to improve that with the latest release so it made more sense. it appears we failed to do so.

What settings do you have configured under the menu page? Can you share a screenshot?

Hey Andrew. Nope, you shouldn’t have any problem there – you can always change the licensed site on the tri.be side, and it’s not like features stop working without a license key anyway…it’s just a matter of accessing support/upgrades in the future.

Hope that helps! Let me know what else I can do.
