MemberThey can be hidden but they won’t serve their intended purpose if they are. In order for them to be recognized as present that unfortunately needs to appear.

MemberThanks for the screenshots, Adam. We actually only support the plugin as far back as IE8 given where Microsoft is in the IE release cycle by now, so I’m afraid I can’t offer up much on the first one.
Sorry to belabor the point, but what’s wrong with the second screenshot? Not seeing anything amiss on my end…
Rob
Member🙂 We try to be as flexible as possible. Glad to be of service.

MemberAh excellent to hear! Glad you were able to figure it out. If anything else arises feel free to give us a shout 🙂
Ryan: if you’re still having any issues after reading Lisa’s note let me know.
Rob
MemberHey Julien. That functionality that you’re noting should still be there. Still seeing it fine on my default 2011 install with 2.0.1 active. Can you link me to an example?
The broader template documentation that we’ve got so far is right here: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/documentation/. Would be interested to hear what else beyond that you thought we be helpful, so we can add it to the list.
Rob
MemberHey there Jamie. Couldn’t you use the Events List Advanced widget, filtered down to a category-specific level, in those sidebars?
Rob
MemberWe’re going to rework the forum here so it can better handle code within some sort of < code > or related tag. Sorry about the inconvenience in the interim; probably easiest to drop your code into http://pastie.org/ and share the code that way until such a feature is deployed. Sorry about that.

MemberHey Adam. I can try and help you out here; this one is probably best to have our developer, John, take a look at. He’s out today and tomorrow but is back addressing support issues over the weekend, so I should be able to get you a response on this by Monday or Tuesday. Apologies I couldn’t offer up anything in the shorter term.

MemberThanks Lisa. I’m assuming you got the Calendar view working correct, right? I’m seeing it fine: http://cl.ly/0z422v3W3y0L1M0i1911. The display issue on the calendar grid view is a known one; we patched a fix for that in 2.0.1 (which I’m assuming you have updated to) and are continuing to patch it for 2.0.2, which should be out shortly here.
What do you mean by “paging through”? And you’re familiar with how to do a template override of the .php files, right? Let me know if not and I can point you in the right direction.
Rob
MemberHey Nathan. Just checked it out on your site, and it looks like something’s up here – my guess is it’s related to your theme/plugins, since I just tested this on the default 2011 theme and that widget is working fine.
Could this be a conflict with another plugin or the theme? Would suggest deactivating other plugins to see if that could be an issue, or revert back to the 2011 theme if that doesn’t do the trick…just so we can confirm that it is not widespread.
Also, to confirm: you’re on 2.0.1, right?

MemberThanks for the suggestion, Reji. I’m reviewing this with our dev John now and if he thinks it’s worthwhile/easy to do, we’ll work it in for a future 2.x release. Appreciate the suggestion!
Rob
MemberHey Reji. Are you talking about the advanced post manager at the top of the page? I’m assuming so. If you could tell me what version of the plugin you’re using, what version of WP you’re using, and whether you’ve got any plugins installed that could be conflicting, it’d be awesome.
Also, to confirm: you’re on 2.0.1 now, right? Not 2.0? Just want to make sure 🙂

MemberThis is awesome to hear. Sarah: any chance upgrading your WP build resolves the issue on your end too?
Rob
MemberAh excellent to hear – thanks for confirming, Brian. I’ll watch to see if anyone else reports this on 3.2.1, in which case we can re-evaluate it…but sounds like if the update worked for you I’d wager it does for others too. Let me know what else arises on this front.
Rob
MemberThose are all controlled under single.php; I should note though that the “updated” is required based on the microformats we’re using with this plugin. The “updated” is a necessary byproduct of including them that needs to be displayed on the frontend to function correctly.
