MemberHey Alex. Thanks for reporting this; this shouldn’t be the default of behavior of the plugin – so I’m guessing this is a conflict with another plugin or possibly your theme. Any chance you’re using another plugin that alters or impacts role management/permissions?
Rob
MemberTribal Council…I can get behind that terminology 🙂
I’d think this is doable, but it’s a bit outside my area of expertise. Let me get our developer Jonah to chime in with any suggestions he may have along these lines. He’ll jump in here tomorrow morning when he hits the forum.

MemberSamuel: Any time. If anything else comes up, or you have any other great tips like this, we’re all ears 🙂
Rob
MemberNot one that we’ve documented, but I can see if one of our developers can write up a quick workaround in the interim.

MemberThanks Laura (and Jonah)! Carlos, does that get you where you need to be?

MemberHey James, thanks for reporting this. Weird issue – what’s the permalink structure you’re using? We’ve gotten a few reports and have a bug to fix regarding users not on pretty permalink structures having issues. Are you using something along the lines of /%postname%/?
Rob
MemberAwesome to hear you got this resolved. Let us know if anything else comes up, Jesus.

MemberWe should be able to help you out here, Greg. Let me get our dev Jonah to chime in with his thoughts.

MemberIt could be, but so long as you’re meeting the minimum PHP criteria in the readme.txt file, you should be fine. Can you check that you’re on track? I’ll get a dev to chime in here if that isn’t the cause…
Rob
MemberExcellent to hear that did it! If anything else comes up, let me know…happy to help.

MemberHey Karen. Thanks for the note, and sorry to hear you’re having issues. All you would need to do to transfer access – in theory – would be to give them the license key & make sure they renewed it when the year was up. This issue shouldn’t be specific to the owner of the site.
Are you and the user both the same level of “Admin”? Is it possible that there’s another plugin conflicting here? Would be helpful it you had the ability to deactivate plugins one-by-one, but let me know if the site isn’t in a position where that’s possible.
Rob
MemberThanks Scott. I’ll get Jonah to check it out and update the doc accordingly. Apologies for the inconvenience here.
Rob
MemberExcellent to hear. If you were willing to share the code using pastie.org (or something similar), other users could certainly benefit from it 🙂 We’re also fixing the forum so it’ll accept code, any day now.
Rob
MemberThanks Andy. This fix was pushed to 2.0.3 since we were unable to figure out what was up, and wanted to get the release out. We’re aiming to get 2.0.3 out before the end of the month and assuming we can get this figured out by then, the fix will be included. Otherwise it’ll definitely be in 2.1. Sorry I couldn’t offer up more.
