MemberHey Quentin. Are you using UTC time zone settings, per chance? Can you send over a screenshot of your time zone settings so we can check that out? We recently uncovered a bug with UTC time zones that we’re working to fix for the next release. Let me know if that sounds like it could be the culprit here, and if it is, my apologies for the inconvenience there.

MemberAppreciate the new files you sent over, Marco – glad to hear we were able to get this resolved. Let us know what else we can do.
Rob
MemberSounds like we got this worked out per our email.
Rob
MemberNo problem at all. Glad to hear you got that figured out. If you need anything else, let me know…happy to do what we can on our end.
Rob
MemberAh, alright – thanks for confirming Jeff. If upon jumping into the tags you’ve got questions please let us know and we’ll do what we can to assist.

MemberHi there Stefan. The “fake it” suggestion would have to be done using the out-of-the-box architecture; ie creating a couple of distinctly separate recurring events with the same title so they appear linked. We’re going to have code in 2.1 that allows for more flexibility/randomness of recurring events, though, so the official support for this is coming. Sorry I couldn’t offer up more in the interim. Let me know if you’ve got any other questions along these lines.
Rob
MemberAnother vote for end time-less events! Thanks Stefan. This one is becoming a trend…
Rob
MemberI could certainly see the value there myself, too. Thanks for the suggestion Hamish!

MemberStefan: weird, I’m still unable to recreate this issue. Any chance you can take a screencast of what you’re saying (using Jing or another lightweight tool) and then dropping a link to the finished product here? We can attempt to recreate and troubleshoot as needed from there.
Ben: not sure how to avoid that if it’s a product of the back, since that was more a workaround than anything…but if you’re running the 2.0.3 code for both free & PRO this shouldn’t be an issue. Are you on the newest release? And can you confirm that you’ve got pretty permalinks enabled?
Rob
MemberHi Blaine. Thanks for the note; not sure of this myself, but let me see if our dev Jonah has any suggestions. I’ll get him to take a look and chime in directly if he does when he hits the forum today.

MemberHi Andrea! Great to hear the first issue got resolved. Thanks for confirming.
What exactly are you trying to do, widget-wise? The PRO release should allow you to filter down by category in the advanced list widget, but unfortunately not the grid widget out of the box. However, maybe this guide to fully customizing the widgets (https://theeventscalendar.com/how-to-completely-customize-widgets/) will help? Let me know if not and I can keep looking into this for you.

MemberThanks Paul!
Ken: let us know if you’re still having issues from there.

MemberJust wanted to follow-up on this one. We’ve been exchanging emails with Yoast’s devs and have found a solution to a similar issue, which may help you too. It could be as simple as: http://uploads.yoast.nl/Permalinks-20120207-205354.png. Will you give that a go and let me see if it resolves your problem?

MemberHey Dave. If you want to send me some backend creds and FTP access for your site, I can get one of our devs to look deeper. They’re going to need that to proceed though. Send it to rob at tri.be and I’ll get it to them accordingly. Thanks!
