MemberHey Scott, thanks for the follow-up. So just to confirm: are you saying that the site has the HeadSpace plugin installed, but it isn’t carrying over to the new Events post type? Have you checked whether it’s just been hidden under “Screen Options” atop the page?
You may also want to check that Headspace is configured on your site to work with custom post types like events.

MemberHey Simon. Thanks for the note; while that’s a pretty heavy question, I will absolutely say that a solution like Trumba is going to be far more full-featured than Events Calendar PRO. (Though that will of course be reflected in the cost you pay as a user). Certain functionality of Trumba – their advanced search/filter patterns, for example – would probably be a pretty heavy cost to build; but then, there may be a third-party plugin that can accomplish it for less.
The costs for getting PRO on par with all those features would definitely depend on the developer used. While we as Modern Tribe aren’t in a position to do this work ourselves, we do have a growing network of freelancers we’re happy to refer to users interested in custom work. I believe we may have exchanged emails about that already but let me know if you’re a different Simon 🙂

MemberHey JT. I don’t believe that question has been asked yet, but it’s a good one. While the level of effort required to implement it is not something I can speak to (since it isn’t functionality available out of the box), let me see if our dev Jonah has any ideas. I’ll get him to comment directly when he hits the forum next if so.
Rob
MemberThanks Brody. I’ll get Jonah to comment directly, but I’m pretty sure the mini grid modification to include those next/previous month links would be somewhat complex. Let me see if he can point you in the right direction though.
Rob
MemberDang. That is a bummer; I’m sorry we couldn’t offer up more on our end, Corey.
Rob
MemberGlad to see you got a stopgap in place until 2.1; you may want to keep the code handy in case any releases (ie 2.0.5) come between now and then.
Rob
MemberHey Robbie. Thanks for confirming; glad to hear you got this figured out. I can certainly see the value of including what you’ve noted there. Let me get Jonah, who wrote most of the documentation up there, to take a look and see what it’d take to incorporate that. Thanks for the heads up.
I presume you’re set here, but let me know if not!
Rob
MemberAh, I see. That’s outside my area of expertise – let me get Joey to comment directly. Thanks Jen!
Rob
MemberHey Emmanuel. Not the widget itself, but have you checked whether you can accomplish what you’re going for with template tags (https://theeventscalendar.com/support/documentation/)? Let me know if that doesn’t help you out.
Rob
MemberThanks for the words, Richard! Appreciate the support 🙂 Is the codebase for this plugin close enough to Gravity Forms that Tim’s GF/PRO integration tutorial could be of any value (http://creativeslice.com/tutorials/gravity-forms-events-calendar-submissions/)?
Let me know if not and I can see what our team has to share…no guarantees as it relates to integration with a plugin we’ve not tested against, but we’ll do what we can if it comes to that.
Rob
MemberAwesome. Thanks for confirming. Sounds like you’re all set but let me know if not!
Rob
MemberAlright awesome. After the hosting server issue is looked into, let us know what else you need from us (if the issue persists). Definitely want to get it resolved if our plugin is causing weird behavior.
Rob
MemberHey Carl. Thanks for the follow-up; you are correct in your assumption that the list calendar widget should show all events that appear on the full calendar. Are you sure the widget itself isn’t just set to display those 2 events? You do have the option to configure both the # to appear, and the category it’s pulling from. If you’ve narrowed it down that would explain why not everything is showing. Let me know and I can continue to troubleshoot as needed. Thanks!
Rob
MemberLeonard is the man! Thanks for sharing dude, looks awesome.

MemberHi there Cara. Glad to hear you’re enjoying the OS version! To answer your questions here:
1. At this point, you’re correct that no frontend organizer view exists. That will probably be coming down the road (during the 2.1 lifecycle) and I believe a few users have found a way to hack it together. But faking with venues would definitely be easiest.
2. No, but since organizer information displays up with the rest of the event metadata, it all flows together and venue/organizer data appears alongside date, time, etc. Custom fields appear up there too.
3. On the caching front: I believe we have received a few reports of a conflict with WP Super Cache, which I haven’t been able to verify on my end. But otherwise we haven’t done much testing against caching plugins on our end.
Hope this helps! If you have any other questions, just ask.
