ParticipantHello,
I just recently installed Events Calendar Pro and notice on my calendar page my header navigation buttons titles are changed to “calendar of events” for all of them.

Any idea why that would be?December 8, 2011 at 2:33 pm #12021Rob
MemberCorey: this could be an issue with the Default Page Template. We’re working to fix that for release 2.1. In the short term, you should be able to fix it by changing to the Default Events Template under Settings –> The Events Calendar. Can you give that a shot and let me know if it fixes the issue?

ParticipantHey Rob, That fixed that issue but now I have a new one when I switched it. You can see that the calendar is now unreadable.
Thanks for staying on top it.

MemberThanks Corey. So you just want the background behind the calendar there to be white, you’re saying? Just want to confirm before I get a dev to take a look.

ParticipantThat is correct. I want it to look exactly as the Default looked but without the “calendar of events” link override
Thanks!December 9, 2011 at 5:24 pm #12096Rob
MemberAlright, thanks for confirming. I’ll get our dev Jonah to chime in with his feedback on this. Since it’s after business hours Friday, he’ll be getting to this first thing Monday morning (at the latest).

ParticipantThanks Rob,
Do you know of any work-around for this? We’re kind of stuck and unable to use it at the moment.

MemberI don’t, unfortunately; It’s beyond my area of expertise. But Jonah will be looking at and responding on this shortly.

ParticipantHi Corey,
In your Events Calendar settings Settings –> The Events Calendar trying adding into the “Add HTML before calendar” field:
And in the “Add HTML after calendar”

ParticipantThank you
That did appear to work however I’m finding using the “Default events template” isn’t compatible with headway themes. Using the Default Page Template is compatible however we have the menu issue at the top: http://is.gd/dYMH3hDo you know how we can fix that?
Thanks so much for the help.

ParticipantHi Corey,
As Rob pointed out there’s a bug when using the Default Page Template so you’ll have to use the Default Events Template and the fix I provided should work for you.
December 12, 2011 at 9:35 pm #12192corey
ParticipantHey Johah,
Unfortunately using the Default Events Template breaks the visual editor from Headway Themes whereas the Default Page Template does not for some reason.
If you like I can provide a screenshot to show you what I mean

ParticipantHi Corey, ok gotcha, sorry about that. I poked around a bit and found this other thread (https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/events-calendar-2-0-1headway2-0-13-displays-calendar-pagetitle-in-all-nav-items/#post-12177) where Rob says upgrading to Headway 3.0 will fix the issue. Can you try that?
December 13, 2011 at 7:04 am #12203corey
ParticipantHey Jonah,
I cannot since “Headway 3.0.2 currently does not support upgrades from Headway 2.0.13 or earlier”.
Since I need to use the visual editor I’m afraid I’m kinda stuck. Is this something that can be fixed on your end?
