Rob
Member2.0.3 was released today, both for free & PRO. Let me know if you’re still having issues upon updating.

ParticipantHi Rob.
Unfortunately I’m seeing no difference in behavior after upgrading the events calendar and the events calendar pro.
The Visual editor is broken when using “Default events template” and when using “Default page template” Every link on our navigation bar changes to “Calendar Of Events.”
Was the fix left out of the new version?

MemberHi Corey. Sorry to hear this isn’t fully functional…we did some testing to figure out what was up on our end, and figured out that this isn’t impacting all child themes, just a subset of them. As we were eager to get 2.0.3 out so we could move into the broader 2.1 release, we put that on the backburner to focus on bugs impacting all users. This will be addressed in the 2.1 release, when we have more bandwidth to focus on it development-wise. We’re hoping to have that out over the next month. Apologies that I couldn’t offer up more.

ParticipantI completely respect the decision to put it on the back burner it would have been helpful if I had known that there would be longer delay. I could have been working this whole time on an alternative rather than waiting for a fix.
Again I wouldn’t have waited had I known it would be this long but since I was told the fix would be in 2.0.3, I decided to wait.
Can you recommend another calendar plugin I can use in the meantime?January 10, 2012 at 2:13 pm #13156Rob
MemberHey Corey. Sorry about that; we’d noted it in the other thread (which you responded in) but neglected to go and make the same point in all the others. Apologies there.
I’m not really sure of any other PRO solutions, but if you go to the WordPress.org repository and do a search for Events Calendar there are a number of options that – for free – wouldn’t hurt trying. Hopefully you’ll give us another go in 2.1 and let me know whether or not your issue is resolved from there. If you have any other questions let me know.

ParticipantThanks, I’ll take a look. Meanwhile please feel free to send me the pre-release if you end up fixing the issue beforehand.
I promised a client I’d have the functionality based on the release dates you gave me so I have to come up with something and hope for the best.
I suppose I should have subscribed to those other threads that dealt with the issue there as well.

MemberSorry, again, for the inconvenience Corey…we feel like crap whenever we’re not able to help someone fully resolve something. If you want to check in with me periodically via email (rob at tri.be) I would be happy to give you whatever the latest code is between releases so you could try and see if it fixes your issue along the way. Let me know.

MemberHey guys. Going to get our dev to take another look at this and see whether there’s anything we can ask Headway for on our end.

ParticipantI appreciate it. If you’d like a link to my dev site it is

MemberHey again guys. I’ve had our dev take a look here, and we’ve got good news and bad.
To start, the good – which relates to the core issue here. We have found a patch for the repeating header issue using Headway, and it will be included in the 2.0.4 code that should be released over the next couple of days. If you want to give it a go and report back as to whether it’s working earlier than that, send an email to pro /a/ tri.be, referencing this thread, and I’ll send it your way.
The bad news, related to the visual editor problem Corey noted he encountered when running the Default Events Template. We looked into this for a while and there is unfortunately just too much of a difference between how Headway operates (which does appear to be outside of WordPress core and regular theme behavior) and how Events Calendar PRO operates. As a result we’re not even sure we can make it work, and if we could, it would take a significant rewrite that we’re not in a position to do at this time. The workaround for now is to use the “Default Page Template” instead of the “Default Events Template”.
Hope that helps. Let me know about the 2.0.4 code issue and we can ideally close this thread out as resolved.

ParticipantHate to say it, but it doesn’t seem to solve my issue. Maybe I did something wrong, but I still get he “calendar of Events” on all my navigation
