    Hello,

I have scoured the support pages and haven’t seemed to find answer. I apologize if an answer exists somewhere on this page. I am running Events Calendar Pro on my page (www.gwangjunewsgic.com) and am having an issue with my events that are showing in List View. As you can see, I’m using Calendar View as well on the right sidebar. While the recurring events appear just fine in Calendar view, they don’t appear under list view. Is there something I can do to fix this issue? I really want people to be able to see recurring events along with others.

    Thanks in advance,

    Carl

Hey Carl. Thanks for reaching out, and sorry to hear you’re having problems. Are you sure those events are actually configured as recurring? When I click into one (say, http://cl.ly/061A3J0332241a2N240L), I don’t see any link to view the entire recurrence pattern. Have I misunderstood the request here?

Let me know. Want to do what we can to help you get this resolved.

    Hello Rob,

Sorry for the delayed response and thank you for your quick reply. The two events that appear here (http://goo.gl/h8q67) under “Current and Upcoming Events” are not set as “Recurring”. However, as you can see here (http://goo.gl/ezfR3), there are lots of Recurring events which are not appearing on that list. If you hover over dates on “Local Events”, you will see lots of events each day. Am I misunderstanding the functionality of this widget because I thought that the same events which appeared under Calendar View would also appear under list view. Please correct me if I’m wrong and once again, I’m sorry if I haven’t given enough info.

    Cheers,

    Carl

Hey Carl. Thanks for the follow-up; you are correct in your assumption that the list calendar widget should show all events that appear on the full calendar. Are you sure the widget itself isn’t just set to display those 2 events? You do have the option to configure both the # to appear, and the category it’s pulling from. If you’ve narrowed it down that would explain why not everything is showing. Let me know and I can continue to troubleshoot as needed. Thanks!

    Hi Rob,

I’m not sure where you can choose which events that appear. This is the screenshot of the actual widget page: http://www.gwangjunewsgic.com/online/wp-content/uploads/2012/03/Widget-Page-Snapshot.jpg

The only options I can are the type of calendar and the number of events. As you see, it’s set to “10” events yet only 2 are appearing. Is there somewhere else I can go to see if specific categories are selected or not?

Hey Carl. I think you may be using another widget (ie not one generated by our calendar), is that possible? I’ve never seen it look anything like what you’ve shown in your screenshot there, and our list widget is called the Events List Advanced Widget. It looks like this on the backend: http://cl.ly/0q1B0B0E0f290a30312t.

Oh man, I feel afoul. Sorry for that. Anyway, it looks great and thank you for taking your time to help me. I noticed that when I upgraded to pro, there were a few extras included. Do you know exactly what comes with the page when you upgrade to pro so I can get rid of whatever else is extra?

    Cheers.

Hey Carl. No problem at all! Glad to see we were able to get that figured out.

Happy to help with your second request; did you just mean what widgets come with PRO, or what features overall? Let me know and I’ll get you the response you need. Cheers man.
