MemberThanks Pascal. Sounds like a theme issue then (as we’re obviously unable to recreate on the default 2011 theme). Can you test that to be sure, even if just on a staging environment? Please then confirm what theme you’re on.

MemberThanks guys. Just a heads up that we’re close to narrowing down the 2.1 feature list, and once that has been confirmed I’ll definitely post for all to see. (While it may still change a bit from there, you’ll at least be able to get the general gist of what’ll be where). All the ideas above are solid and feel free to keep adding them along the way.

MemberHey Mike: thanks for confirming. Have you updated to 2.0.4 yet? If so, you won’t even have to dig that deep – it’ll be controlled via a setting under Settings -> The Events Calendar. Let me know if you still have problems from there.
Currently the zoom is tied together on event maps vs venue maps, but I agree that a separate control should be available and have noted this to the team. No guarantees as to when such a feature will make it in but it is on the radar. Let us know if you need anything else here.

MemberWe definitely are planning on implementing more filtering functionality down the road, somewhere during the 2.1 lifecycle. Not sure it will get as advanced as filtering by multiple criteria in the beginning, but that’s a solid idea (not one we’d heard much of so far) and I’m going to look into it further. Appreciate the tip.

MemberHector: thanks again for this. Solid work. I had our dev review it and he can confirm that this is functional, though we would definitely caution against using a global to store the event array. We’d advise that anyone using this code approach with caution unless you have a real solid understanding of WordPress dev and what the code here will do. That being said Hector’s tip here has got us talking on how we could better approach this in our code down the road.
Mike: appreciate the note here. Official shortcode support isn’t planned for the 2.1 release, but as mentioned above we have seen an uptick in requests for it so it’s a conversation we’re currently having. Any votes for it thrown into the “Feature Request” thread (https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/events-calendar-pro-feature-requests/) will also certainly be given some bearing.

MemberThanks for the note, Anthony – sorry to hear you’re having issues. I am seeing the issue on your site; and it looks much more widespread than just the widget, ie when I click “view all” from the widget the page I’m taken to shows no calendar info at all.
Since that’a dev site, can you test deactivation of other plugins (and reverting to the default 2011 theme as needed) so we can try to identify the conflict, and work from there?
