MemberAlright then, Yancy – thanks for confirming. Let me see what Jonah on our dev team can offer up here. Stay tuned.
Rob
MemberSolid suggestion, Jason. Thanks for the idea – I’ve logged this accordingly. (You’re the first to request it, but if you have ideas down the road, we’re tracking them in our Feature Requests thread: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/events-calendar-pro-feature-requests/. That’s being used largely as the basis to determine future release cycles).
In terms of a workaround…no guarantees, but let me see whether I can get a dev to chime in on this one.
Rob
MemberThanks, Henry 🙂
Anthony: give that a go, and we can keep trying to troubleshoot as needed.

MemberHey Jim! Thanks for the words. Are you using the Events List Advanced widget? If so, navigate to Appearance -> Widgets and you should be able to hide it via the checkbox. Here’s an example: http://cl.ly/2e3A0V3y1x0b3p0P3f08. That help?
Rob
MemberHey Fergus. You shouldn’t need to be using the patch after the 2.0.4 release…is there a reason you’re running both alongside one another?
Rob
MemberAh, excellent to hear you got this figured out Terri. So it sounds like you’re all set? Let me know if not, or if we can do anything else down the road.
Rob
MemberYou’re the man of the hour, Leonard – if you still monitor this thread, any chance you can assist?
Rob
MemberThanks Anthony. I am indeed seeing the issue and am, unfortunately but as I’d thought, totally unable to recreate on my end.
What is your permalinks structure? I’m just using /%postname%/. And, have you already checked whether this is a conflict with another plugin or the theme? If not, definitely go the deactivation route to try and test. From there if we’re still having issues I may need access to your system to check it out there…but let’s cross that bridge when we get to it.
Rob
MemberHey Brent. That’s very bizarre. Is it possible you are running the plugins out of sync, ie The Events Calendar 2.0.4 and Events Calendar PRO 2.0.5 (or some similar combination)? That’s the one cause that I can see yielding this result, if another plugin isn’t the culprit.
Let me know if, with PRO, the visual editor issue also impacts non-events pages. Please also resave your permalinks before testing as that could have some bearing here. We’ll try and continue troubleshooting from there.
Rob
MemberHey Terri. Thanks for reaching out here – glad to hear you’ve had some success with the plugin so far. On these points:
1. We do indeed have an FAQ post that should accomplish what you’re going for, right here: https://theeventscalendar.com/faq/how-can-i-place-the-map-featured-image-below-the-event-description-instead-of-above/. That help? Let me know if you’re still stuck on this issue after giving it a go.
2. This should also be doable. If I understand the issue here, this post (https://theeventscalendar.com/coloring-your-category-events/) will be of value when it comes to color on a categorization basis. You could always also open up events.css, if you’re not finding color-settings controlled by your theme. If you have follow-up questions here, lay them on me and we’ll do what we can to assist. Cheers!
Rob
MemberHey Liana. Thanks for the note here – we can take a look and should be able to get this resolved for you, but mind posting the code you’re using? Ideally in a pastie.org link so we can view it in full?
We’ll do what we can to assist from there. Thanks!
Rob
MemberHey Kim. Thanks for the follow-up; glad to hear we’re making some progress. The next steps you’ve requested here are a bit outside my area of expertise so I’ve asked our dev Jonah to take a look. He’s out on vacation until tomorrow, but will be back addressing threads at that point. Stay tuned and thanks for your patience so far.
Rob
MemberHi Martijn. Thanks for reaching out here; this is an interesting request. I don’t know what it’d take to accomplish (or if it’s even possible) but I’ve asked our dev Jonah to take a look and see if he can point you in the right direction.
Jonah is out until tomorrow, but should be back and taking a look at that point. Stay tuned!
Rob
MemberThank YOU, David. I apologize that we let you down here and know that we’re working hard to get this fixed as soon as possible.
Rob
MemberHi Liana. Generally we do a dot-release (ie 2.0.5, 2.0.6, etc) at the start of each month. While the feature set for what will make the cut and what won’t isn’t generally finalized until the week leading up to that, my guess is that this fix – given how minor it is – will be included in this next release, which is 2.0.6.
It sounds like something else is at play with regards to your Settings fields, since there are always the standard 6 tabs (http://cl.ly/3s1n1A37002z0Y0S2131) when PRO is activated. Whether or not you have the key in place shouldn’t matter.
Can you confirm that you’re running 2.0.5 for both The Events Calendar and PRO? They’ll need to be in sync for everything to function properly. Let me know on these points above and I’ll do what I can to assist from there.
