MemberHey Aaron. Have you opened up the table.php file and looked in there? That’s what controls the gridview and should give you the option to do what you want (if I understand the request correctly). Let me know if you were looking for something more specific than that and I can try and get someone to point you in the right direction.
Rob
MemberHey Aaron. Thanks for reaching out here. Our dev Jonah should be able to point you in the right direction; he’s out until Wednesday, but I’ve asked him to take a look and respond when he returns. Stay tuned and my apologies for the inconvenience in the interim.

MemberHey Alastair. Jonah is out for the next couple days so I wanted to follow-up on this. It does sound like something else may be at play on your system; I too am unable to recreate this issue on a vanilla install with just the 2.0.5 code running. The one difference is that I’m on the default 2011 theme (as we stopped testing against the 2010 one once 2011 had been out a couple months). Can you try that release and let me know if the same issue persists? If it does please share a screenshot with your time zone settings. Here are mine, as a point of reference: http://cl.ly/41470l2W3Q3i1H1w300E.
I can definitely see issues arising with the workaround you’ve found, so tread lightly. We have had quite a few requests to disable that end time requirement since we launched 2.0 so I suspect eventually during the 2.1 lifecycle we’ll be working such functionality in.
Let me know about that first point and I’ll do what I can to troubleshoot.
Rob
MemberHey Liana. Sorry to hear you’re still having problems. I was actually just able to recreate this problem myself, which means it’s been re-introduced in the 2.0.5 code. Thanks for bringing this back to our attention…I’ve made sure it’s logged again to be fixed in the next release.
You can now access the custom fields by going to Settings -> The Events Calendar, then hitting the “Additional Fields” tab. Note that won’t show if you’re not using PRO.
Would you mind posting the other issue in a new thread? We can take a look at it but I’ll need a dev to do so, and don’t want to create confusion by having multiple issues in one thread. Thanks!
Rob
MemberHey David. Thanks for the heads up here and sorry to hear you’re having issues. When I look at your site, I’m not seeing this…events that occurred yesterday (which are present on the calendar) are not showing up in the widget; the first item in the widget is an event from today.
Have you resolved this, or am I misunderstanding the issue? Let me know and I can continue to troubleshoot as needed.
Rob
MemberHey Derek. Thanks for the note here. This makes sense to me, but I will admit that addressing it is a bit outside my area of expertise.
As such I’ve asked our dev Jonah to take a look. No guarantees that he’ll be able to point you in the right direction due to the level of customization here, but he can certainly give it his best shot. I should note that Jonah’s out on vacation until Wednesday so it’s possible you won’t get a response until then. Rest assured this is high on his priority list upon his return though.
Let me know what else we can do in the interim. Thanks again for your support.

MemberHey Robert. I see the blog post I published on the issue was 3/28, so depending on where in the world you are it could have been either. I’d say re-download just to be safe, resave permalinks, page sure the plugins are in sync…and if it persists let me know your time zone settings.
We have been getting a few reports of this from users so far, but are still unable to recreate any of those situations on our end (even when we recreate the user’s time zone settings exactly). Something else seems to be at play here but we’ve yet to figure out what. Hopefully getting more information from you guys will get us there.
Rob
MemberHey Anthony. You’re the first to report it, but that certainly doesn’t mean there isn’t a legit issue here. Which widget is the issue here, and is this for recurring/standalone events? A link to a place where I can see the widget in action would be awesome and I can try to diagnose from there.

MemberAwesome to hear we’re all set here, Kindra. Thanks for confirming as much. Let us know what else we can do down the road.
Rob
MemberHey Brent. That is definitely a weird issue; I’m not seeing the same thing on my default 2011 install, so I’m wondering if something else is at play here. Any chance you’ve got any role manager-like plugins active? And does this happen on every browser you try?
Let me know. Might be good to try the old deactivation route (deactivating other plugins and reverting to the default 2011 theme if needed), to see if this is a conflict with something in the system.

MemberHey Kym. Thanks for reaching out here. Any chance you can revert to the 2011 theme, try Jen’s suggestion there and see if it works? I’m wondering if the limitation is one specific to the theme…
Also, regarding the venue: what happens if you go to the “Venues” option in your left-hand admin sidebar on the backend, and remove the country from there (then save)? Changes made to existing venues should be back-populated to any existing event tied to that venue.
Let me know how that goes and I’ll do what I can to assist from there.
Rob
MemberHey Carlos. That’s odd; have you resaved permalinks after updating? How are these events being fed into your home page – a widget, or via template tags? A link to the site (so we could try to figure out what’s up) would be helpful.
Rob
MemberThanks guys. I’m seeing this, too – looks like we introduced an issue while we were adjusting the settings page. I’ve logged this as the top priority for 2.0.6 and will see if we can get a hotfix of some kind deployed in the interim. Apologies for the inconvenience thus far and thanks for bringing this to our attention.

MemberHey Wayne. If you’re adding to your functions.php file, that shouldn’t be impacted by a plugin update (unless I’m misunderstanding the issue here).
Rob
MemberExcellent to hear. Thanks for confirming, Cliff.
