MemberOne more thing I forgot to mention: bear in mind that my initial reply regarding the other site’s performance and restrictions is still valid: If the website from where you are importing these events is hosted in a low resource host and you hammer them with too many requests, it could cause a connection timeout or cause performance issues for their regular visitors. Also, it is possible that the site owner has added restrictions to better protect themselves, so it is not 100% guaranteed that the site from where you are importing these events will honor your request.
Thanks!

MemberHey Sally,
Thanks for sharing this custom code here! It is still valid and working as expected.
Rob, could you please add the code that Sally mentioned to your theme’s functions.php file (or create your own custom plugin), change the Import Date Range to One Year and let me know if everything is working as expected after that?
I’m sorry I didn’t offer you this solution before and I hope this helps! If you have any other questions, please feel free to let me know and I’d be happy to help as best I can!

MemberHey Sommer,
Thank you for reaching out to us! I’m so sorry to hear that you are having problems with your recurring events. Let me help you to solve this!
I believe the best option you have to solve this problem is:
1- Download and install our Recurring Event Cleanup Tool. After that, head over to Tools > Available tools. You’ll see a list (like this one). Backup you database and delete all recurrences for your events.
2- Head over to Events > Settings > General Settings and change the “Clean up recurring events after” and “Create recurring events in advance for” options to a smaller number to avoid new performance issues in the future.
3- Access each one of your events and recreate the instances as necessary.
I hope this helps! If you have any other questions in the meantime, please feel free to let me know and I’d be happy to help as best I can!

MemberHey Timothy,
Thank you for reaching out to us! I’m so sorry to hear that you are having problems with your calendar. Let me help you to solve this!
As I can see from here you are running The Events Calendar version 4.6.3 in your site. Could you please upgrade it to latest version 4.6.5 and after that update Events Calendar PRO to version 4.4.19 again and let me know if everything works as expected after that?
If the issue persists with both plugins up-to-date, I would recommend you to enable WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG and share with us any messages you see while accessing your events. All WP_DEBUG messages will be stored in a debug.log file in /wp-content.
I hope this helps you get started! If you have any other questions in the meantime, please feel free to let me know and I’d be happy to help as best I can!

MemberHi there,
Thank you for reaching out to us! I’m so sorry to hear that you are having problems with our plugins! Let me help you to solve this!
Could you please make sure that The Events Calendar, Event Tickets and Event Tickets Plus are all up-to-date? The latest versions are 4.6.5(TEC), 4.6(ET) and 4.6(ETP).
If all plugins are up-to-date and the issue persists, please share your system info with us so we can take a look.
Also, I would recommend you to run a Conflicts Test. You can start the test by temporarily deactivating all of your plugins (except Modern Tribe plugins) and changing your theme to another one like Twenty Seventeen and let us know if the problem is solved after that (don’t forget to backup your database before changing anything).
I hope this helps! If you have any other questions at all please feel free to let me know and I’d be happy to help as best I can!

Thank you for reaching out to us!
You can hide the number of available tickets by adding the following code in your theme’s style.css file:
.tribe-events-tickets .tribe-tickets-remaining { display: none !important; }I hope this helps! Let me know if you need anything else and I’ll be happy to assist!
Best Regards,
Patricia

MemberHey Deiren,
Thank you for reaching out to us! I’m so sorry to hear that you are having problems with your recurring events! Let me help you to solve this!
As I can see from here you are running outdated versions of The Events Calendar (4.6.1) and Events Calendar PRO (4.4.2). The latest versions are 4.6.5 and 4.4.19. The permalink logic for recurring events was moved from The Events Calendar to Events Calendar PRO on version 4.4.14, so it could be the cause of the issue you are experiencing. You can download the latest version here.
After that, please access your Dashboard and head over to Settings -> Permalinks for a permalink flush (no need to change anything, just visit the permalinks page: WordPress will automatically flush your permalinks once you visit it). Be sure to clear your site cache and browser cache after this change.
Does it help you to solve the problem? If the issue persists, please let me know and I’ll be happy to further investigate your case.
Cheers,
Patricia
