    Thanks for following up Raj!

I’m sorry to hear about the issue continuing. This should be really simple really.

Can you please go to ‘WP-Admin > Plugin > Installed plugins’ and remove ‘The Events Calendar’ and ‘The Events Calendar PRO’? If they don’t show up in the list, you might need to log in to the site via FTP and manually delete the plugins (https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/manual-updates/). Once that’s done, just re-install the plugins as explained here: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/new-user-primer-the-events-calendar-and-events-calendar-pro/

Also, please note that our replies might take up to 24 hours!

    Hi there Greg,

Thanks for getting in touch with us and for your interest in Event Aggregator ๐Ÿ™‚

This article describes how our ‘Event Update Authority’ works, basically allowing different behaviour on event re-import โ†’ https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/event-aggregator-import-settings/

Please give the article a read and let me know if you still have doubts,

    Hi there James,

Thanks for getting in touch and sorry to hear about this issue. Let me help you out…

You can redirect the QR code checkin redirect to another URL with the snippet shown in this reply: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/qr-code-scanner/page/2/#dl_post-1292380, but I guess the problem here is the in-app browser of the scanning app. Unfortunately I’m not sure about QR code apps that don’t use an in app browser. For testing purposes I usually use an app called ‘QR Code reader’ in Android which just uses the default browser of the phone but I’m not sure which OS are you in!

Please let me know if the above helps,
    Best,
    Nico

    Hi there @ghislaine,

Thanks for getting in touch and sorry to hear about this issue ๐Ÿ™

The error is coming from the Avada code, but not sure why the error is showing up if Events Calendar PRO is active.

Can you please check if you are able to reproduce the issue with a default theme like Tweenty Seventeen? Also, in cases like this is usually better to reach out to the theme developers as well.

Please let me know about it,
    Best,

    Hi there Jason,

Thanks for getting in touch with us and sorry to hear about the issue ๐Ÿ™

First of all, Can you please follow the steps described in our Testing for conflicts guide? This way we can see if this is a problem in our plugin or a conflict with the theme or other installed plugins.

If the problem persists in ‘default’ conditions, Can you please let me know the necessary steps to reproduce this? I wasn’t able to reproduce this in my local test site with latest versions of the plugins.

Please let me know about it,
    Best,
    Nico

    Hi Ricardo,

Thanks for reaching out to us! Unfortunately we are not able to provide support in the pre-sales forum ๐Ÿ™

We are happy to assist our premium users with support issues via our premium forums, please log into the account that has been created when the purchase was made. If you have not purchased one of our premium plugins, you can post in our open source forum. We review that forum weekly, mainly for bug reports.

To give you a quick tip, check the console for any Javascript related issues. Also, following the steps described in our Testing for conflicts guide is a great trouble shoot step to see if this is a theme issue or related to other plugins.

Iโ€™ll go ahead and close out this thread, but please do post in the appropriate forum and we will be happy to assist you.

    Hi there Karl,

Thanks for getting in touch about this and sorry to hear about the struggle. Let me help you out…

First of all please note that the plugin adds some view specific classes that might help you out. For list view for example you have the ‘events-list’ class added to the body.

Can you please let me know which views you are planning to use in the site? This way I can make sure they have unique classes you can use to hide the content for the ones in which you don’t need it.

As you correctly pointed out this can also be achieved by using a simple PHP snippet, but it looks like you prefer the CSS approach.

In any case please let me know about it,
    Best,
    Nico

    Hi there Liza-Mari,

Thanks for getting in touch with us and sorry to hear about this troubles. Hopefully I can help you getting this right ๐Ÿ™‚

First of all please be sure to check that the child theme is active. If that doesn’t work check if there’s any cache plugin active (or server side caching going on). If you still have no luck, try using a default theme and add the ‘tribe-events’ sub-folder to it with the single-event.php file. From what you describe it sounds like you are doing it right! So it’s probably an oversight in a file/folder name or something simple like that!

Please let me know about it,

in reply to: How do Community Users Login? #1293410

    Hey Buddy,

Thanks for getting in touch with us and for your interest in our products ๐Ÿ™‚

Community Events works with WordPress default login and user system (as I understand BuddyPress does), so there shouldn’t be mayor issues. This said, there’s no special integration our plugin and BuddyPress have. I know there are some third-party integrations like this one โ†’ http://wpdrift.com/downloads/buddypress-events-calendar/ but not sure about the features, or how well it works.

Moreso, the Community Events login form (uses the WordPress default login form) has actions in place to redirect the user to a custom login or a different page.

Please let me know if this answers your question,

To give you a quick tip you can do a template override (as described in our themer’s guide) to change this, but there’s no option in the plugin to automatically do so.

    Hi there Michael,

Thanks for getting in touch with us! Unfortunately we cannot help much with styling/theme issues ๐Ÿ™

To begin you can check the console errors (Using your browser to diagnose JS issues) present in the page as those are preventing an stylesheet from loading.

    Hope that helps,

    Hey Hรฅkan,

Thanks for getting in touch with us! I can help you on this ๐Ÿ™‚

I guess you are referring to the options to insert content before or after the calendar is shown. If that’s the case, then those inputs are in ‘WP-Admin > Events > Settings > Display > Advanced Template Settings’.

Please let me know if that helps,

    Hi there @woodrow1856,

Thanks for getting in touch with us! I can help you here ๐Ÿ™‚

I know that I need to renew each clientโ€™s Pro license yearly, which is fine, but do I just need to purchase one Aggregator license that I can implement across multiple sites, as long as the client sites donโ€™t go over the number of daily imports limit? Is that a correct assumption?

This is correct, but with the limitation that the Event Aggregator license is not used in more than 10 sites. If you are using it in less than 10 sites, then as you say it’s just a matter of not going over the daily import limit.

Please let me know if there’s anything else I can do for you,
    Best,
    Nico
