    Greetings,

I am curious to know how the Event Aggregator handles changes on the source side when importing events that already exist.

    For example:
A new event is added on Google Calendar, however the time is subject to change. An import is run using Event Aggregator which adds the event to our website.
A couple of weeks later, the event time is finalized and changed on the Google calendar.

What will occur with the existing event on the website when a new import is run?
Will it overwrite the event? Will it create a new event?

    Thank you in advance.

    Hi there Greg,

Thanks for getting in touch with us and for your interest in Event Aggregator 🙂

This article describes how our ‘Event Update Authority’ works, basically allowing different behaviour on event re-import → https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/event-aggregator-import-settings/

Please give the article a read and let me know if you still have doubts,
    Best,
    Nico
