Thanks for the follow-up! Glad it worked 🙂

Regarding the spacing just delete the line-height: 1.5 !important; in the previous snippet or adjust it to be 1. The font-size is at 13px already so not sure if I’m getting this correctly! If I’m misunderstanding the issue please send me a screenshot with what you want to achieve and I’ll try to help you out.

    You are welcome Damion!

Yeah, I imagined that combining both solutions might be the way to go for you. Hope the import goes well and remember to revert the changes made to the core files once you are done.

Regarding the bulk delete of previous imports make sure to check in the database if post meta is correctly removed as well! If not it might be a good idea to do the import in a clean new database once you can fine tune the import method.

Finally thanks for the kind words about our plugins, I’ll share them with the rest of the team 😉

Thanks for jumping in @spireworks 🙂

Love to hear about the cool integration with Enfold! I’m mostly sure they did all the work for that.

    Hey Kev,

Thanks for getting in touch with us and for your interest in our plugins as well!

I’ll start by answering questions 1 and 4:

    (1) Will Events Calendar Pro export to my Google Calendar. (2) Will it work to export to Google Cal or not?

As stated in the response to Daniel you cite, our calendar has an iCal feed URL (example.com/events/?ical=1), you can subscribe to this URL via Google Calendar or any other calendar software (I’m not sure if TinyCal is a calendar app). What’s mentioned about having other URLs like example.com/events/?ical=1&tribe_display=recently-published & example.com/events/?ical=1&tribe_display=year refers to importing events from a different time period, I guess that depends on your particular needs.

    (2) Will my Google Calendar or Tiny Cal feed import to Events Calendar Pro.

Yes, you can import events from iCal feeds(from any source as it’s a standard format) to your site using iCal Importer plugin. This doesn’t mean a complete Sync, just import of the events from external sources. You can set up recurrings imports to fetch events from the feeds every 30 minutes, 1 hour, daily or weekly. Events already imported that have changes will be updated, although events deleted from the feed won’t be deleted in the site automatically.

Please let me know if your questions are answered,

    Hey Mark,

Thanks for reaching out to us and for thinking about our products for this project 🙂

    1) They are “franchising” their business and need to allow their franchisee’s access to their site to add events/tickets (but only these people and not everyone) – looking a your documentation this should be possible using a third party permissions plugin? These franchisees should be able to login and see their own events/tickets/etc. and create their own events and tickets.

Yeah, take a look at a this article Admin roles and permissions to see a full list of capabilities. You can also enable front-end submissions (which you can limit to a certain user level) with Community Events and Community Tickets.

    2) They want to be able to accept deposits for some of the bookings (selectable by them). I was planning on ensuring they use Woocommerce for the ecommerce system and have found this: https://codecanyon.net/item/woocommerce-deposits-partial-payments-plugin/9249233 to allow the deposit system to work. However in line with 1 above when the using Tickets+ (and community tickets) does this integrate with teh Woocommerce products to allow this plugin to be used, additionally would a role manager allow the franchisee to see the newly created ticket/product to set the availability of the deposit within the product?

Well, I don’t have an answer for this one other than you’ll have to try it out. Please check out this article on Compatibility with WooCommerce Extensions to get I glimpse of why testing is the best way to know if it will work as expected or not!

While we don’t have a trial period, you can go ahead and purchase the products to try them out. If you decide they are not what you are looking for, you can ask for a full refund within 30 days of purchase. For more information take a look at our refund policy.

Please let me know if I cna help with anything else,

    Hey Bas,

Thanks for reaching out and for your interest in our plugins 🙂

Let me start by saying that while we don’t have a trial period, you can go ahead and purchase the products for testing. Generally this is the only way of truly understanding if it will work for your project o not. If you decide our plugins are not what you are looking for, you can ask for a full refund within 30 days of purchase. For more information take a look at our refund policy.

There is no way for me to see what the options are. Especially interested in QR code settings (not in demo).

You can read about QR checkins in this article → Tickets: Managing your orders and attendees.

Also interested in ordering multiple tickets at one for same event AND multiple tickets to different events in ONE order (how will that work out with QR codes? Do customers get separate emails per ticket?)

Yes, both cases will work well with QR codes, because it’s one code per ticket. All tickets in the same order will be included in the same tickets email.

Please let me know if there’s anything else I cna help you with,
    Best,
    Nico

    Hi Michelle,

Thanks for getting in touch with us and your you interest in our plugins 🙂

we want to put a calendar on each branches page within the website and then combine them all into an overall calendar is this possible?

Although our plugin doesn’t allow to create more than one calendar, this is possible by using Event Categories to show the events for the different branches. There are other alternatives but I guess Event Categories would be the best for your use case. You’ll find a more complete answer in this knowledge base article: Can You Have Multiple Calendars?. I’d suggest checking out The Events Calendar Category Colors plugin which works great for calendars based on categories.

    Hi Derek,

Thanks for getting in touch with us and for your interest in our products 🙂

I’ll answer your questions below, but please first check out this knowledge base article covering Multisite Licenses.

Does events calendar (tec)have ability to create a global events page within a multisite env?

No, this is not a feature of our plugin. The events created on a site (top level or subsite) will be exclusive of that site. This said there are a couple of ways to achieve this:

    • Show an RSS feed of all subsites events: from the main site, use a simple RSS feed plugin and pull in all the content from the subsite’s feed. Downside of this approach is that event’s won’t be shown in our calendar views, but in a feed listing.
    • Import events to the main site: using iCal Importer plugin (or the upcoming Events Aggregator service) you can import the events from the subsite’s iCal feed automatically (scheduled imports) into the main site. This way events will be shown in the main site calendar and could be linked to the subsite’s single event page or be displayed in the main site. For this you won’t need a multisite license for iCal Importer (or Events Aggregator) as the plugin will only be used in the main site.

I see you have very expensive options for multisite, unlike your main comp who only charges a multisite as a single install regardless of domain mapping or anything, but how does your license handle domain mapping?

Thanks for the feedback! Please note you’ll only need a Multisite License to “Network Activate” a plugin, individually activate the plugin on 11 or more sub-sites, or do automatic updates on any number of sub-sites (more info about Multisite Licenses here). But it’s not necessary if you plan to use it in a single site in the network. Regarding domain mapping, there’s nothing special to it the licenses are per site or subsite regardless the domain you use for them (subdomains or different domains).

Please let me know if there’s anything else I can help you with,
    Best,
    Nico
