- While we don’t offer continuous syncing of our calendars to smartphones or other devices, we do provide buttons on all of our calendar views that will allow you to export an ICS file containing the current displayed events. These files can be imported into a number of popular calendar applications, including those bundled with most smartphones. Simply tap the “Export” button on any calendar or list view, and once the file downloads, you’ll be prompted to import all of the listed events into your calendar. You can read more about this functionality on our Knowledgebase here. This feature is supported by both our free offering The Events Calendar and Events Calendar PRO.
- If you’re looking to import events into your calendar from an external source such as Google Calendar, you’ll want to take a look at our full-purpose importing solution, Event Aggregator. Event Aggregator pairs with either of our calendar plugins listed above and imports from a number of sources, including iCal/ICS, Google Calendar, Facebook, and Meetup. I’d be glad to answer any questions you might have about Event Aggregator and how it works with our calendar products!

You can read more about RSVPs and how they work with The Events Calendar and Event Tickets here on our Knowledgebase. If you’re interested in giving it a try, Event Tickets is a free download from WordPress.org–feel free to search for it and download it from the Plugins section of your WordPress site backend, or you can download a copy here. Thanks for reaching out, and I’m so sorry to hear about the issues you experienced with Events Calendar PRO! While we don’t typically field inquiries of this nature here in our pre-sales forum, I’d be glad to quickly assist you with your questions here. 🙂
Should you decide to remove The Events Calendar from your site, the redirect to [your-site-url.com]/events and all event posts and archives will cease to function, but your existing events and plugin settings will remain in the database in case you’d like to reactivate in the future. Any calendar pages or events that were previously indexed by search engines will be removed on the next crawl, which can take up to several days.
Please know that we haven’t fielded any significant bug reports relating to 404s or slow load times in recent months, and our plugins are consistently making great strides in reliability and compatibility with third-party offerings. Our premium support resources exist to provide quick and high-quality support for any issues you might encounter over the course of typical (or atypical!) usage, including theme issues, plugin conflicts, and, indeed, legitimate bugs. Should you decide to try any of our premium plugins again, we’d be more than glad to work with you to ensure that the problems of the past aren’t repeated and that you have a great experience working with our products. That said, if you simply no longer have a need for our offerings, we do understand–but we’re sorry to see you go, and we hope we might have the chance to welcome you back someday!

Would you be so kind as to reinstall 4.4.1.1 on your site, run through our conflict testing steps, and submit a post to our WordPress.org forums with your findings? If conflict testing determines that we’ve found a legitimate bug, we’ll follow up there with an update and next steps!

As Event Tickets Plus is typically powered by WooCommerce for all purposes related to payment processing (unless another e-commerce platform is chosen), integrations such as this often can and do work without much additional setup. However, we may be limited in the amount of support we’re able to provide for any problems that might occur! Since some WooCommerce extensions rely on the original WooCommerce product pages being used for individual products, this Knowledgebase article may be of use to you as you’re setting things up. I’d suggest giving it a try on a staging or test site to see how things shape up! Should you encounter any issues along the way, you’re more than welcome to reach out to our support team, or we’ll be happy to process a full refund within 30 days of purchase should you decide it’s not quite right for your needs.

I’m pleased to report that we do offer a number of shortcodes with Events Calendar PRO, including the new [tribe_events] shortcode, which allows users to embed full calendar views into any post or page on their site. As far as widgets go, I’d suggest browsing through our selection of available widgets and seeing which one might fit best into your layout, though it sounds like our mini calendar widget might be just right straight out of the box!

Thanks so much for stopping by and for considering our plugins! 🙂 I’m pleased to report that there is no limit on the number of events you can create with our one-year licenses. Licensing periods cover product updates and dedicated premium support for the life of the license, and there are no restrictions on actual product usage within that time period. The only exception is our Event Aggregator add-on, which is limited to a certain number of imports per day depending on which license you purchase.

Thanks for reaching out! If you’ll be using Event Tickets Plus for managing your event RSVPs, you can use the Attendee Information feature to create additional fields and collect extra information from your attendees as needed. Adding an optional text field for other attendees would allow your ticket buyers to supply details for extra people if needed without impacting the checkout experience for solo buyers! Our Knowledgebase article linked above should provide all the info you need to get started using this feature. 🙂
