MemberOi Michel,

MemberHi Benoit,
Thanks so much for getting in touch! I’m afraid that we’re not equipped to provide technical support for current plugin users here in our pre-sales forum. We’d be more than happy to assist you at one of the following locations:
- If you’re using one or more of our free plugins such as The Events Calendar and Event Tickets, you can request assistance on the WordPress.org support forum for the affected product.
- If you’re a current license holder for one of our premium offerings, please log in to your account and submit a post to the appropriate forum for the affected product.
Thanks again, and we’ll see you in the forums!
February 10, 2017 at 2:08 pm in reply to: Why am I being charged full price for license renewal? #1233085Caroline
MemberHi all,
Thanks for reaching out! After thorough consideration, we’ve recently moved to discontinue our long-standing product renewal discount for existing users of our plugins. We recognize that this choice is a controversial one and weighed all factors carefully before reaching our final decision. Ultimately, we’ve made the choice to shift towards a pricing model that we feel is more sustainable in the long term, as well as one that will allow us to continue delivering the top-notch support services that have helped to define us as a leader in the WordPress plugins space. We’re truly grateful for your repeat custom, and we hope we’ll have the chance to continue proving our value to you as customers in the coming years.
Please don’t hesitate to reach out to us via email if you should have any other questions, concerns, or additional comments regarding this new policy change. We’d be more than glad to take the time to assist, and we’re happy to hear any feedback you might care to share.
Cheers, and thanks again!

MemberHi Cheryl,
Thanks for taking the time to reach out! Unfortunately, if you’re unable to reach the person who originally set up your account to obtain the login credentials, it sounds like you may need to purchase a new license and set up a new account with us. That said, if your current licensing is only being used by your organization, and you’ve been designated as the new point person for plugin setup and renewals, we may be able to assist you with transferring the existing account to your name and email address. This type of transfer would need to be authorized by the original account holder. Feel free to reach out to us via email if you’d like to discuss specifics, and we’ll see where we can go from there!
I hope that helps! Thanks again, and let me know if there’s anything else I can do to assist!

MemberHi Chris,
Thanks for reaching out! Our demo site WP Shindig features working demos of a number of our most popular plugins, including Events Calendar PRO and Event Tickets Plus. That said, please note that if you’re looking for ticketing support for recurring events (as your post title seems to indicate), this feature isn’t available in our products at this time. While it’s something we’re actively working to implement, we’re not able to provide an estimate for when the feature might be ready for prime time! I’m sorry to disappoint. 🙁
I hope that helps to answer your questions here! Thanks again, and let me know if there’s anything else I can do to assist!

MemberHi Eileen,
Thanks for reaching out! Our plugins are developed for compatibility with secure web standards and should work without issue on your SSL-based site. However, we don’t include support for password-protected views as a built-in feature of our products. This Knowledgebase article may provide some helpful suggestions for setting up similar functionality on your site–I’d suggest giving it a look over to see if anything might be applicable to your ideal setup! For password protection, you may wish to explore third-party options to see if an added plugin might integrate with the calendar event post type.
I hope that helps to get you started here! Thanks again, and let us know if you should have any other questions!

MemberHi Damien,
Thanks for reaching out–happy to hear that you’re considering our plugins for your site revamp! I’d be more than glad to assist you with your questions here! 🙂
- Events created using The Events Calendar or Events Calendar PRO are custom WordPress post types of type tribe_events, and these are not connected to WooCommerce. However, tickets created using Event Tickets Plus and WooCommerce are saved as WooCommerce products in the database and can be edited in the same way as other WooCommerce products.
- Unfortunately, we don’t offer support for “waitlists” through Event Tickets Plus at this time. However, users who have purchased tickets can request an order cancellation to be processed manually by the site owner, and tickets that are cancelled will be returned to the pool of available tickets for purchase.
- Absolutely! Nearly all of our plugin templates can be modified in whatever ways you’d like, from style changes to adding or removing information as desired. Our Themer’s Guide provides plenty of information on how to get started with applying these types of customizations to your site.
I hope that helps to get you started here! Thanks again for your interest, and let me know if you should have any other questions!

MemberHi Laura,
No problem–happy to assist! 🙂 I’m going to go ahead and close this thread out, since you’ve marked your question here as resolved. Please don’t hesitate to follow up with a new thread if there’s anything else we can do for you! Thank you!

MemberHi Jess,
Thanks for following up! Since all calendar events and other plugin functionality will be completely disabled when the plugin is deactivated, we have no reason to expect that deactivating will increase the number of errors on your site, unless the errors are originating from a third-party conflict that affects other plugins. We recommend conflict testing as a way to troubleshoot issues with our plugins, and you may find it useful in working with your site, as well–it’s a method that can be very useful when identifying problems with any custom WordPress content, not just our own!
Please don’t hesitate to follow up if you should have any other concerns here. I’m glad to assist! Thanks again, and best of luck with your site!

MemberHi Dan,
Thanks for following up! That is absolutely something we can do, yes! 🙂 I’ve gone ahead and refunded your Event Aggregator license as requested, and you should receive confirmation of that (if you haven’t already) via email. Feel free to move forward with purchasing Events Calendar PRO whenever you’re ready, and please don’t hesitate to let us know if you should have any questions before placing your new order with us!

MemberHi Christopher,
Thanks for reaching out–I’m so sorry to hear that you’re having some trouble with your Events Calendar PRO install on a multisite environment. Non-multisite licenses on multisite environments do have restrictions imposed on several features, including:
- “Network Activation” for plugins
- Individual plugin activation on 11 or more sub-sites
- Automatic plugin updates on any number of sub-sites
It doesn’t sound like any of these situations apply to your setup, so you should be just fine to continue using a Personal license for your setup. You can read more about multisite licensing and how it differs from our other license tiers on our Knowledgebase here.
If you’re experiencing problems with Events Calendar PRO plugin features that aren’t included in the above list, we’d definitely like to get some more information so that we can assist further! I’ve moved this thread to our pre-sales forum due to the nature of the inquiry, but please don’t hesitate to open a new thread in the Events Calendar PRO forum if need be. We’d be more than glad to help with troubleshooting so we can get your issues resolved as soon as possible.
I hope that helps to address your concerns here! Thanks, and let us know if you should have any other questions!
February 3, 2017 at 7:22 pm in reply to: UPgrade from single site to multi-site license for PRO #1229298Caroline
MemberHi Linda,
Thanks for reaching out, and I’m so sorry for the trouble here! It looks like your existing license with us is a Personal license, which can only be activated on one site at a time, as opposed to the Business license, which can be activated on up to three sites as you describe. If you’d like to upgrade to a Business license instead, you can easily do this while logged into your account–we have a Knowledgebase article on the process here! If you’d prefer to move forward with a Multisite license instead, we can assist you with that via email. Please don’t hesitate to reach out! 🙂
Thanks for your support, and let us know if there’s anything else we can do for you!

MemberHi Roni,
Thanks for getting in touch! You’ll need to share your TheEventsCalendar.com account credentials with your developer in order for her to sign in to your account. Once she’s logged in here, she’ll be able to access downloads and license keys for all of your active products. 🙂
I hope that helps to get you started here! Thanks again, and let us know if you should have any other questions!
