    Hi Jameson,

Thanks for getting in touch, and I’m sorry for the confusion here! At the moment, notifications for ticket reservations are only supported through our premium ticketing plugin, Event Tickets Plus. However, you may be able to set up some type of notification system using a third-party plugin in tandem with Event Tickets. This forum post provides a bit more information on how to set up notifications for free RSVPs!

I hope that helps to get you started! Thanks again, and let us know if you should have any other questions!

    Hi Jared,

Thanks for reaching out–excited to hear that you’re considering Community Events to add to your existing setup! 🙂 I’m pleased to report that Community Events operates strictly as an extension of our core calendar plugins (The Events Calendar and Events Calendar PRO), and you don’t need to have active Event Aggregator licensing for it to work properly. Event Aggregator is simply an importing tool that incorporates the import functionality of our legacy plugins iCal Importer and Facebook Events while adding new features to make working with external events even easier.

The good news is that while you don’t need Event Aggregator to make use of Community Events on your site, you were granted a free Event Aggregator license as an existing user of Facebook Events! If you’re interested in giving it a try, you can find your license key by logging into your account with us and checking your existing licenses. We’ve provided a guide on our Knowledgebase to help users of our legacy plugins migrate to Event Aggregator–we hope you’ll give it a try! 🙂

I hope that helps to address your concerns here! Thanks again for getting in touch, and let us know if you should have any other questions!

    Hi Steve,

Thanks for following up! No worries–if you’re running multisite installs but are only using your license keys on the two listed subdomains, you don’t need to upgrade to a multisite license at this time. If you’re still curious, you can read more about multisite licensing and the extra features available when upgrading to this license type on our Knowledgebase here.

I hope that helps to clarify things a bit! As always, don’t hesitate to let us know if you should have any other questions. Thanks again for reaching out! 🙂

    Hi Steve,

Thanks for taking the time to reach out! In reviewing your licensing with us, it appears that you already have current Business-level licensing for all of your active products, which allows you to activate up to three separate site URLs per license key. You should have no problems activating these existing license keys on a new site without needing to upgrade! If you need help finding and activating your license keys on your site, we have a Knowledgebase guide here that will walk you through the process. Feel free to follow up here if you should have any questions about your account, licenses, or anything else! 🙂

Thanks so much for your support, and let us know if there’s anything else we can do for you!

    Hi John,

Thanks for your interest in our plugins! Our premium ticketing solution Event Tickets Plus, when powered by the e-commerce platform of your choice (such as WooCommerce), includes shopping cart support to allow for multiple tickets to be selected, added to a cart, and purchased simultaneously. You can read more about Event Tickets Plus on the product page linked above, or you can try a live demo over on our demo site, WP Shindig. Feel free to follow up here if you should have any questions about this or our other products! 🙂

    Thank you!

    Hi Karl,

Thanks so much for getting in touch! I’m afraid that we’re not equipped to provide technical support for current plugin users here in our pre-sales forum. As you’re a current license holder for Events Calendar PRO, we’d be more than happy to assist you over in the premium forums–would you be so kind as to submit a post to the Events Calendar PRO forum so one of our premium support staff can take a look? 🙂

If you can, please take the time to confirm in your post that you’ve run through our conflict testing steps prior to contacting us–this will save us a step and help us to get your issue resolved that much quicker! 🙂

Thanks again, and we’ll see you in the forums!

    Hi Daniel,

Thanks for getting in touch! At the moment, we don’t offer an automated mechanism for cancelling events if ticket sales do not pass a certain threshold. However, you’re always able to change or cancel events manually at your discretion, and we’re currently working to implement functionality that will notify attendees if an event for which they registered is cancelled. You can read more about this planned feature and leave your comments on the feature’s UserVoice page, if you’d like! If you should have any other suggestions for features you’d like to see added to our plugins, we’d love to have you to submit a new feature request, as well!

I’m sorry to disappoint here, but I hope I was able to provide some helpful suggestions! Let me know if you should have any other questions–I’d be more than glad to assist!

    Hi Jessa,

Thanks for getting in touch, and thanks so much for your interest in Community Events! I’d be more than glad to help you with your questions here! 🙂

    1. You can think of Community Events as an extension to the functionality provided in our core calendar plugins–so yes, you must have at least one of our calendar plugins installed and activated in order to use Community Events. Our free core calendar plugin The Events Calendar provides a more basic level of functionality, while Events Calendar PRO adds support for a number of premium features such as recurring events. You can choose whichever calendar is the best fit for your needs! The options that are available for creating events in your plugin of choice will also be made available to your users with Community Events, so you may wish to consider the types of events that your users might create when making your decision.
    2. Events Calendar PRO includes a number of features that improve upon the look, feel, and overall functionality of The Events Calendar, including additional calendar views (week, map, and photo views), recurring event creation, location-based event searching, widgets and shortcodes, and much more. In addition, you’ll receive access to our premium support forums for any issues you might encounter with setup, regular usage, or product customizations. You can see a brief feature comparison on the product page for Events Calendar PRO–I’d be happy to answer any specific questions you might have, as well!

I hope that helps to address your questions here! Thanks again for stopping by, and please don’t hesitate to follow up if there’s anything else I can assist you with!

    Hi there,

Thanks for stopping by! Yes, you’ve got it right–licensing with us covers support as well as free product updates for a full year from your date of purchase (or renewal). If your license with us should expire, you’ll still have access to downloads up to the latest version that was available when your license expired. You can renew an expired license at any time if you’d like to regain access to the most up-to-date versions of our products.

I hope that helps to clarify things a bit! Thanks again, and let us know if you should have any other questions!

    Hi Ragan,

Thanks for getting in touch–great question! Depending on your specific needs and the types of information you’d like to include here, there might be several ways to achieve this effect. One idea might be to access your calendar as usual, then select “List” from the calendar menu bar under “View As” to toggle the list view display. This will change the current calendar view to list view, which will list your upcoming events in chronological order. From there, you can easily copy and paste your event details into a text document for further refining.

If you’d prefer a separate document for your event listings, you can also try accessing the list view of your events as indicated above, then scrolling to the bottom of the page and clicking the blue “Export Events” button. This will download an iCal/ICS file to your computer, which can then be imported into another supported application or converted to another format (such as CSV/Excel).

I hope these ideas might help to get you started! Let me know if you should have any questions or if I can provide any other suggestions here! Thanks again for stopping by! 🙂

    Hi Rich,

Thanks so much for stopping by–happy to help you out with your questions here! It sounds like the basic tier for Event Aggregator should work just fine for your needs in this case. As EA import limits are counted based on the number of imports, not on the number of items imported, even multiple daily imports from all three calendars shouldn’t exceed your limit with the 100-imports-per-day tier! 🙂

Your existing categories will be preserved when adding Event Aggregator to an existing site install, so you can assign imported events to existing categories or create new ones as needed. Event Aggregator will add functionality but will not replace the features of Events Calendar PRO; if you’re using features included with PRO such as PRO-exclusive widgets or calendar views, I’d suggest keeping PRO active after setting up Event Aggregator. If you’re not sure what the differences between The Events Calendar and Events Calendar PRO are, the product page for PRO provides a helpful comparison showing some of the main features.

I hope that helps to answer your questions here! Thanks for your interest, and let us know if there’s anything else we can do to assist!

    Hi Allen,

Thanks for your interest in our plugins! Due to limitations imposed by the Eventbrite API, purchases made using Eventbrite Tickets must be routed through the Eventbrite site. However, this purchasing process is completed in a separate window or tab from your site, and users will be redirected back to your site once the order is complete. We have a sample event available for testing purposes on our demo site, WP Shindig, if you’d like to test the order flow for yourself and see if it might work for your needs!

I hope that helps to answer your question here! Let me know if you should have any others, and thanks again for stopping by! 🙂
