    Hi Helena,

Thanks for reaching out! By default, your calendar is accessible at yourwebsite.com/events, where yourwebsite.com is the base URL for your WordPress site. If you need to change this URL, you can do so right from your plugin settings, underย Events URL slug. This Knowledgebase article provides more information on all the settings available for The Events Calendar and Events Calendar PRO:

I hope that helps! Thanks again, and let us know if you should have any other questions! ๐Ÿ™‚

    Hi there,

Thanks so much for your interest in our plugins! I’d be more than glad to take a moment to answer these questions for you! ๐Ÿ™‚

    1. If you’re looking to sell tickets to events created using The Events Calendar or Events Calendar PRO, you’ll need to add on Event Tickets (free; includes core ticketing functionality), Event Tickets Plus (premium; add paid ticketing support and additional features), and an e-commerce platform of your choice, such as WooCommerce. You can learn more about each of these products on the linked product pages!
    2. Payment processing and order management is strictly handled by the e-commerce platform that is paired with Event Tickets Plus; any payment gateway that is supposed by your selected plugin will work for purchasing tickets. I’d suggest referring to documentation for your selected e-commerce platform (either WooCommerce or Easy Digital Downloads) for more information.
    3. Users can purchase as many tickets (or signups, in your case) as they’d like in a single order, as long as their order does not exceed the available stock for that ticket type. If you just wish to sell signups and don’t need for your users to receive a ticket after purchase, you can disable ticket emails by using the snippet in this Knowledgebase article.

I hope that helps to get you started here! Thanks again, and please don’t hesitate to follow up if you should have any other questions!

    Hi Severin,

Thanks for providing a bit more clarification here! License key activations are determined by the number of WordPress installs on your site; if your subdirectories for different languages are all housed beneath the same WordPress install, a single activation should be enough to cover all of them. In this case, a Business license (which allows for up to 3 site activations) should be sufficient for both your live and test environments. If you’re still not sure, you can always begin with the Business license and upgrade your license to add more slots if needed. You can read more about how to upgrade license keys on our Knowledgebase here:

    https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/upgrading-a-license/

I hope that helps! Thanks again, and let me know if you should have any other questions!

    Hi Sunil,

Thanks for reaching out! We already use Schema.org data in JSON format for our events, which you can verify by exploring the source code for any single event on our WP Shindig demo site:

    http://wpshindig.com

If you should have any other questions or comments to share, we do ask that you please post a thread of your own on the appropriate forum for your inquiry. Thanks so much! ๐Ÿ™‚

    Hi Richard,

Thanks for following up! Since coupons must be generated with WooCommerce to be used on ticket purchases, you can specify the exact products for which a given course can be used. You can learn more about creating coupons with WooCommerce on their documentation here:

    https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/coupon-management/

I hope that helps! Thanks again, and let us know if you should have any other questions!

    Hi Manpreet,

Thanks so much for your interest in our plugins! If you’re looking to import events from Google Calendar to The Events Calendar or Events Calendar PRO, you’ll want to pick up our Event Aggregator plugin to add this functionality. However, it’s worth noting that two-way sync with Google Calendar is not supported by any of our plugins at this time. Events can be imported from Google Calendar to your WordPress site, but any changes that are made to imported events on your WordPress site or any new events that are created on WordPress will not be synced back to your Google Calendar. I’m sorry to disappoint! ๐Ÿ™

I hope that helps to get you started here! Thanks again for reaching out, and please don’t hesitate to follow up if you should have any other questions!

    Hi Steve,

Thanks so much for your interest in our plugins! While I’m afraid that we don’t offer any academic discounts for our products at this time, we do offer discounted and/or free licenses through ourย nonprofit partnership program! This might be an option worth considering if you should have any affiliation with a qualifying nonprofit organization. If not, I’d suggest keeping an eye on ourย Deals, Coupons & Discounts page, where we list all sales promotions and coupon codes available at any given time. It’s worth always checking there before buying to see if anything listed might fit your needs! You can also subscribe to our mailing list or follow us onย Facebook orย Twitter to keep up with the latest deals as we announce them.

I hope that helps to get you started here! ๐Ÿ™‚ Thanks again, and please don’t hesitate to let us know if you should have any other questions!

in reply to: RSVP Event #1326177

    Hi Ed,

Thanks for reaching out! Attendees who have RSVPed or purchased tickets for a calendar event will not be automatically notified if changes are made to the event. If your attendees have purchased paid tickets using Event Tickets Plus and WooCommerce, you can resend ticket emails with the updated information by locating the ticket order in WooCommerce and selecting the “Resend Tickets” action. However, I’m afraid there is no such action available for RSVP orders at this time. ๐Ÿ™

If you’d like to have this functionality developed for your site, I’d suggest enlisting the help of a qualified developer, as this type of customization is likely to be fairly complex. We do maintain a list of third-party developers who work with our products and who may be willing to take on such a project!

I hope that helps to get you started here! Thanks again, and let us know if you should have any other questions!

    Hi Kate,

Thanks for reaching out! If your users would like to be updated each time as events are added to your calendar, they can subscribe to your calendar’s RSS feed. This feed automatically refreshes with new details each time an event is published to your calendar, just like a standard RSS blog feed. You can learn more about RSS feeds for The Events Calendar on our Knowledgebase here:

    https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/events-rss-feed/

For users who wish to download your events one month at a time, they can use the Export Events buttons that are located beneath your calendar pages. Clicking on one of these buttons will allow your users to download an iCal/ICS format listing of the displayed event(s), which can then be imported into the application of their choice. These buttons are detailed on our Knowledgebase, as well!

    https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/exporting-events/

I hope that helps to get you started! Thanks again, and let us know if you should have any other questions!

    Hi Lynne,

Thanks for reaching out! While Event Tickets Plus is advertised with ticketing on calendar events in mind, you can actually attach tickets to any WordPress post, page, or custom post type that’s specified in your plugin settings. Your client might find this to be the best fit for their needs–simply create a post or page for each course and add your tickets beneath the content for that page! You can learn more about how to change this plugin setting on our Knowledgebase here:

    https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/configuring-event-tickets/

I hope that helps! ๐Ÿ™‚ Thanks again, and let me know if you should have any other questions!

    Hi there,

Thanks so much for stopping by and checking out our plugins! I’m afraid that you might find our plugins falling a bit short of your particular needs here. ๐Ÿ™ Unfortunately, you’re correct in that support for ticketing recurring events isn’t available with Events Calendar PRO and Event Tickets Plus at this time. Additionally, our plugins do not include any built-in support for bookings (for the booking of specific items, venues, time slots, etcetera). While we do plan to incorporate this recurring ticket support at some point in the future, we don’t have any plans to add booking support to our products–if this type of pre-built implementation is critical to your project, you may wish to consult a third-party developer or consider other options.

I’m so sorry to be the bearer of bad news here–I do wish you the best of luck with your project, and we hope we might have the opportunity to welcome you back should your needs change in the future! ๐Ÿ™‚ Thanks again, and please don’t hesitate to let us know if there’s anything else that we can do for you!
