GuestI am a web developer who is thinking of switching to Events Calendar Pro for multiple sites I support. I have spent the last hour reading the various pages on the website, as well as 3rd party reviews AND looking at the Showcase page websites, and still have many questions. My pre-sales questions are the following:
Re: Events Calendar Pro
– Does it integrate with ecommerce to allow users to pay for an event without adding an additional plugin?
– Which payment gateways does it integrate with?
– Does it allow multiple attendees to sign up and pay for an individual event? Or does that require an additional plugin? I do not need to sell “tickets” just signups.
– If the “tickets” plugin is required for multiple signups to a single event, are both Pro versions required to be purchased? Thanks in advance.

MemberHi there,
Thanks so much for your interest in our plugins! I’d be more than glad to take a moment to answer these questions for you! 🙂
- If you’re looking to sell tickets to events created using The Events Calendar or Events Calendar PRO, you’ll need to add on Event Tickets (free; includes core ticketing functionality), Event Tickets Plus (premium; add paid ticketing support and additional features), and an e-commerce platform of your choice, such as WooCommerce. You can learn more about each of these products on the linked product pages!
- Payment processing and order management is strictly handled by the e-commerce platform that is paired with Event Tickets Plus; any payment gateway that is supposed by your selected plugin will work for purchasing tickets. I’d suggest referring to documentation for your selected e-commerce platform (either WooCommerce or Easy Digital Downloads) for more information.
- Users can purchase as many tickets (or signups, in your case) as they’d like in a single order, as long as their order does not exceed the available stock for that ticket type. If you just wish to sell signups and don’t need for your users to receive a ticket after purchase, you can disable ticket emails by using the snippet in this Knowledgebase article.
I hope that helps to get you started here! Thanks again, and please don’t hesitate to follow up if you should have any other questions!
