MemberHi Christine,
Thanks for taking the time to reach out! I’m afraid that at this time, our Community Tickets plugin (which adds support for RSVPs and ticketing to Community Events) does require the Event Tickets Plus add-on, even for free RSVPs. I’m so sorry for the trouble. ๐ This is something that we’d like to address, so we’ve created a priority ticket in our system to correct this in a future update! Until then, if you’d like to enable RSVPs on community-submitted events without Event Tickets Plus, this workaround may be helpful:
- Make sure that The Events Calendar, Event Tickets, Community Events, and Community Tickets are all installed and activated on your site.
- In your Community Events settings, under General, uncheck the box forย Allow anonymous submissions. This will restrict access to the Community Events submission form to registered users only.
- Under the Members heading of your Community Events settings, check the box forย Allow users to edit their submissions.
- Instruct your users to submit their events as normal.
- Once the event has been submitted, your users can log in to the WordPress backend and access their submitted events. When editing their event using the WordPress editor, they’ll have the option of adding RSVP tickets to the event.
For more information on the available settings for Community Events, check out our Knowledgebase article here:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/community-events-settings/
Again, I’m sorry for the inconvenience here–I hope that this workaround might serve a useful stopgap until we’re able to provide a better solution! Let me know if you should have any other questions or concerns here. Cheers, and thanks again!

MemberHi Richard,
Thanks for following up! Unfortunately, we don’t offer any support for generic API-based imports at this time–is there a particular plugin of ours that you might be referencing, such as Event Aggregator? Let me know if I can answer any specific questions you might have about this product! ๐
Thank you!

MemberHi Ian,
Thanks for reaching out, and I’m so sorry for the trouble here! This error message is typically displayed when a license key for Events Calendar PRO or another plugin is entered into the license key field for Event Aggregator. Please double-check that you’ve installed and activated both The Events Calendar and Events Calendar PRO on your site, and ensure that your key for Events Calendar PRO has been entered into the appropriate field!
If you’re still experiencing issues after confirming that all of the above looks okay, would you mind dropping us a quick email with a reference to this thread? We’ll be glad to generate a new license for your account to see if this resolves your problem. (Please select the option “Help accessing my account” from the drop-down menu to display the full email form.)

Thanks, and let me know if you should have any other questions or concerns here!

MemberHi Peter,
Thanks for reaching out! While The Events Calendar does not display navigation links leading to empty months by default, you can enable this functionality with a simple code snippet. This Knowledgebase article provides more information on how to enable this feature for your calendar:

MemberHi Preston,
Thanks for taking the time to reach out to us here. It looks as though our support team over in email has recently followed up with you on this issue, but I wanted to take a moment to provide some extra clarification on our pricing and policies surrounding product renewals.
We’ve offered our plugins and license renewals at a variety of distinct price points over the years, and these price points have always been subject to change due to any number of factors. Quotes on purchase prices obtained from our team members will always be accurate at the time that a quote is provided–however, these quotes are not guaranteed into perpetuity. We’ve expanded on our policies regarding pricing and product changes in our terms & conditions:
https://theeventscalendar.com/terms/
Our company has enjoyed considerable growth in recent years thanks to the support of our dedicated user community, and we’ve expanded our internal resources to match. Rather than compromise on our development efforts or the quality of our support services, we’ve chosen instead to adopt a pricing model for our products and renewals that’s more sustainable in the long term. We feel that delivering any less than our users have come to expect would do a great disservice to both our new and returning customers.
Again, I’m truly sorry for any difficulties that you may have encountered as a result of changes to our renewal rates. We recognize that many of our customers are tasked with providing services and information to their clients, and we regret any undue burden this shift may have imposed. Our support team in email has reached out to you to continue the conversation–if you should have any other questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to follow up with us there. Thanks again for taking the time to connect with us, and let us know if there’s anything else that we can do for you.

MemberHi Richard,
Thanks for reaching out! As Eventbrite Tickets imports events from Eventbrite by event ID and not by URL, I’m afraid that support for Eventbrite affiliates is not available at this time. The best workable approach at present would be to import your events from Eventbrite via event ID, then use a custom code snippet to replace the ticket form on your event pages with your Eventbrite affiliate URL. We’d be glad to provide a snippet to get you started, if this is an option you might be interested in exploring!
Let me know if you should have any other questions or concerns here. Cheers, and thanks again!

MemberHi Stephan,
Thanks for reaching out! By default, the List View only displays the contents of a limited number of pre-made fields, and fields added using the Additional Fields feature of Events Calendar PRO will not be displayed. However, you can modify the List View template included with the plugin to display any additional fields that you’d like to show. Our Themer’s Guide provides more info on how to get started with template modifications and includes a list of all core template files that are supported for customizations:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/themers-guide/
Let me know if you should have any other questions or concerns after giving it a look over! ๐ Cheers, and thanks again for stopping by!

MemberHi Tilde,
Thanks so much for your interest in our plugins! I’m happy to report that this type of setup is very much possible with Event Tickets Plus. By using the global stock feature when creating your tickets, you can define a single value for ticket stock that is shared between all ticket types on a given event. For more information on global stock and how to use it when creating your tickets, check out our Knowledgebase article on the subject:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/making-tickets/#global-stock
I hope that helps to get you started here! Thanks again, and let me know if you should have any other questions or concerns! ๐

MemberHi Talei,
Thanks for reaching out! The easiest way to achieve this type of functionality with shortcodes would likely be using Events Calendar PRO and the [tribe_events] shortcode. Simply create a page for each of your intended views and drop in a shortcode with the appropriate attribute–for your “This Week” page, for instance, you’d use [tribe_events view=”week”]. If a fixed date is not specified, the shortcode will always show the current month, week, or day by default. ๐
For more information on the [tribe_events] shortcode, check out our Knowledgebase article here:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/embedding-calendar-views-tribe_events-shortcode/
I hope that helps to get you started! Thanks again, and let me know if you should have any other questions!

MemberHi Dan,
Thanks for taking the time to reach out! While we don’t currently offer support for paid event submissions with Community Events, this feature is slated to be included a future plugin update! The full scope of this feature hasn’t yet been decided, so we’re unable to confirm at this time<span style=”font-size: 0.875rem;”>ย whether coupon codes might be supported. You can keep up with the progress of this feature in development by following the original post on UserVoice:</span>
As soon as there’s news to share, you’ll see it there first! Feel free to stop by, cast your vote, and add any comments that you’d like to convey! ๐
I hope that helps! Thanks again, and please don’t hesitate to let us know if you should have any other questions!

MemberHiย Emanuel,
Thanks for taking the time to reach out to us here! I’m afraid that our plugins do not include support for timeslot, venue, or event bookings at this time. For more information on our decision regarding booking support, please refer to our UserVoice forums here:
If this functionality is essential to your project, I’d suggest exploring other currently-available options for booking-based plugins. I’m sorry to disappoint. ๐
Thanks again, and please don’t hesitate to follow up if there’s anything else that we can assist with!
