MemberHey Joe,
I’m glad to hear you found a solution. I apologize again for the delay. It’s certainly not the norm with support, and we’ve put some protocols in place so it won’t happen again. Thanks for your patience and understanding.
Best,
LeahLeah
MemberHi Mark,
Sorry I missed that. The map view and location search work with Google Maps, so as long as Kiev is recognized and correct with Google it will work with Events Calendar PRO.

MemberHi Jim,
Thanks for getting in touch and for your interest in Events Calendar PRO. There are a couple options that may work for you.
1. Venue View: the Venue View page includes a map and information on the event as well as a listing of upcoming events at that location. You can see an example here on our demo site. This does not display the events in the month view format, however.
2. Events Calendar with category pages: one way to divide different events onto separate calendars is to use the category options to divide them up. For example, you could have all the events at venue A in category A, and same for B. Then on the site you can link to the category A events via one link and category B via another, using the WordPress menu options. It would appear like two separate calendars. This feature is available in our core plugin, so you might want to download it and experiment to see if this would work for you. Then if you’d like to add WooTickets and/or PRO you can go from there.
3. Events Calendar PRO 3.0 with new Faceted Filters plugin: soon we will be releasing Events Calendar 3.0 and a new Faceted Filters plugin. That plugin allows users to filter any of the 3.0 views (including the month view you want) by category, venue, and other options. You can see the filters plugin in action in this demo video.
I think that option 3 is probably the best for you, since it will scale nicely if you need to have more venues in the future, or want to change the site around in general. Let me know if you have any further questions.

MemberHi Jack,
1. Users can sign up for one or more classes from the same session/screen.
Is this possible? Does the plugin provide a public access page with all available events selectable?Users can only buy a ticket for an event from the individual events page. This does not allow users to buy tickets to multiple classes from one screen. You can see an example here. There is a listing of all the events together, but you still need to click the individual events to buy a ticket.
If the event does not require a ticket, does this plugin send an email confirmation?
Email confirmations are only for tickets. However, you can make tickets that are free so people can sign up for free events. In that case they would receive a confirmation. There is not currently a way for people to sign up or RSVP to an event without some sort of ticket.
Does that clarify things?

MemberHi Tom,
Good question. The feature does not currently allow syncing as you described. The event(s) are exported in their current state, and any changes in Events Calendar PRO do not reflect on the events in iCal or Google Cal.

MemberHi Chris,
Thanks for getting in touch. This is possible with a bit of code. You could add a CSS class by using the tribe_is_past() conditional, then target that class from the stylesheet. We can help out a bit if you decide to go that route. I really like your idea about doing a simple version of past events- that would look really nice on the site.

MemberHi Mark,
Thanks for getting in touch and for your interest in Events Calendar PRO. The video you watched is of our upcoming 3.0 release. It will include a setting that controls what counts as nearby in the location search.
At this time we do not have any recommended themes to use with our plugins. However, we are happy to help you get our calendar looking nice on your site. And we always test our plugins on the default WordPress theme, so you know that it will look nice on Twenty Twelve.

MemberHi CZ,
Thanks for the heads up. I’ve updated the New User Primer. Happily, we will be releasing a full documentation page for WooTickets soon, with the release of Events Calendar 3.0 and WooTickets 1.0.2. Thanks for your patience while we work on that.
1.) The reason I said “probably possible” is simply because with so many different variables, we can never guarantee that custom code we help with will work. That being said, our WooTickets support expert already has some ideas about some code that might work for you.
2.) This would really be a question for the WooCommerce support, since their plugin is the one handling the payment side of things. I recommend checking out the WooCommerce support page and/or getting in touch with one of their WooNinjas.

MemberHi Jack,
Thanks for getting in touch and for your interest in our plugin. I’ll do my best to get all your questions answered. You might also want to check out our new user primers for Events Calendar PRO and WooTickets. Those have a lot of information and video walk-throughs. You can also check out our demo site.
– system will be able to present events that require registration alongside those that don’t
This depends on what you mean by events that require registration. You can list events with tickets available alongside open, non-ticketed events. There is not a built in feature to restrict some events to logged-in users, although that is achievable with some custom coding and/or a third party plugin.
– system allows classes and events to have supplemental docs attached (Word, Excel, PDF, PPT, links)
Yes. Events are custom post-types, so you can add pictures, rich text, attachments, etc. as you can with a regular WordPress post.
1. Users can sign up for one or more classes
With WooTickets, users can buy tickets for individual events on individual dates. They may add multiple tickets to their cart before checkout. Events Calendar PRO does have Recurring Event functionality, but this functionality is not yet 100% integrated with WooTickets. It is not possible at this time for users to buy a ticket or sign up for a recurring event such as a semester long class. Tickets must be created for individual event instances.
2. Maintainer can view classes by day, date, time, month, year, title, unique ID
Admins can view events on the back end of the site and sort by title, venue, organizer, event category, author, start date, or end date.
3. Maintainer can add, modify, delete classes
Yes.
4. Maintainer can change or cancel a class and attendees are notified
I don’t believe this is an option currently, although we may add it in the future.
5. Maintainer can email changes or cancellations to class instructors separately from attendees
Using class instructors would require listing them as event organizers or with a custom field. However, neither option includes email notifications.
6. Users receive email notification after signup
Currently users get a PDF ticket to the event. Our next version will include more customizing options for the e-ticket.
7. Maintainer can print class rosters
Our next WooTickets release will include an option to print event Attendee Lists.
8. Maintainer can gather basic usage statistics by class, date, and user
There are no built-in features regarding data or statistics, although you may be able to achieve this with third-party plugin.
9. Users are able to add event to their Exchange or Google calendar after signup
All events can be added to Google Calendar or iCal with an easy one-click button.
10. Maintainer can “save as” from existing class record
There is not a “save as” option built in, but you can duplicate an existing event using a third-party plugin that duplicated posts.
11. Maintainer can search by keyword
Admins can search events by keyword on the backend.
12. Users can cancel attendance
I do not believe that this is possible other than the user simply emailing the event administrator.
I hope that will help make your decision. If you have further questions, just let me know.

MemberHi CZ,
Sorry about the 404s- I’m hoping you can now view our site and see our WooTickets New User Primer which covers a lot.
To answer your questions,
1) Is it possible to TURN OFF the .PDF ticket option? We don’t want to send out any e-tickets. They will pick everything up at the box office.
This is not a built-in setting, but it is probably possible to disable the PDF tickets using a bit of custom code. We may be able to assist you with that. Also, our upcoming release will have more customization options for the e-ticket itself, so you may be able to customize it to fit your needs.
2) How would we handle phone orders with this system? Folks can also call in their credit card info, but we’d certainly like to put them in system somehow.
The orders for WooTickets go through WooCommerce. I do not believe that they have any phone options, so I don’t think this would be an option.
3) What is the ETA for your next version?
We are hoping to release the next version alongside our Events Calendar 3.0, which we are working hard to finish up. We do not yet have a public release date.
4) Is WooTickets currently capatible with the latest of everything from WooThemes/WooCommerce? We’re hoping to set up a totally new install, design, etc.
Yes, WooTickets is and should remain compatible with the latest WooCommerce code. We test WooTickets for compatibility whenever a new WooCommerce version is released.
Hopefully that helps answer your questions. Let me know if I can be of further assistance. If you decide to purchase and want support or customizing help, head on over to our WooTickets forum.

MemberHi KD!
Great question. That function is not included in Events Calendar PRO. However, we have a handy add-on called Community Events that does exactly that. You can use Community Events with either Events Calendar or Events Calendar PRO.

MemberHi Jacopo,
Our WooTickets plugin works to sell tickets to individual events. It would be possible to have a daily English lesson event with 10 available tickets and users could purchase them for each date. You can also manage availability in the backend using WooCommerce, the plugin that WooTickets works with. However, there is not a built in date-picker like you’ve described. You may be able to get closer to that with some custom coding or a third party plugin, but that would be beyond our scope of support.
I recommend that you check out our WooTickets New User Primer to get an idea of what’s possible within the plugin. You can also check out a front end demo here.
Hopefully the above and the links will help you decide if WooTickets is right for you. Let me know if I can answer any further questions.
Cheers,

MemberHi Conrad,
Ah yes, it’s probably because you’re not registered. Without an email on file you don’t get notifications.
Forgive me for my previous statement- I forgot that our next iteration of WooTickets will include a few changes, including easier customization. Our other plugins are only getting updated to work with Events Calendar 3.0, but WooTickets is getting feature changes too. Hopefully those changes will give you the flexibility you’re looking for.
Cheers,
