I am selling single lessons, each one repeating throughout the year.

eg. for english lesson, I have 10 seats available everyday of the year.
for german lesson, I have 5 seats on each working days (no weekends).

The customer would buy 1 lesson per time, choosing the date from the available ones.

In the UI, I imagine a date picker/calendar on the product page, to be selected before hitting “add to cart”, just as you would be doing with any other product attribute.

In the backend, I would need to manage lesson (product) availability for
    each day of the year.

Is that something your plugin can do?
Or how could we get closer to that?

    Hi Jacopo,

Our WooTickets plugin works to sell tickets to individual events. It would be possible to have a daily English lesson event with 10 available tickets and users could purchase them for each date. You can also manage availability in the backend using WooCommerce, the plugin that WooTickets works with. However, there is not a built in date-picker like you’ve described. You may be able to get closer to that with some custom coding or a third party plugin, but that would be beyond our scope of support.

I recommend that you check out our WooTickets New User Primer to get an idea of what’s possible within the plugin. You can also check out a front end demo here.

Hopefully the above and the links will help you decide if WooTickets is right for you. Let me know if I can answer any further questions.

    Cheers,
    Leah

thank you Leah for your reply.
I am reading now about the The Events Calendar Pro, which seems to support repeating events.

As I couldnt try them yet, I am just to guess what is the problem. Please correct where wrong:
with The Events Calendar Pro I can set “english lesson” repeating everyday, with 10 seats each.
So from a backend data point of view, we are set.

But, if I understand correctly, in my case I would like the front-end user to first choose the event (English Lesson) then choose the date.
While your plugins would display “English lesson monday” and “english lesson tuesday” as separate events (basically choosing first date, then topic).

    Is this correct?
Is there anywhere where I can try The Events Calendar Pro + wootickets?

You can set English Lesson repeating everyday, with ten tickets available. As people purchased tickets, the number available would go down until the class was full. Keep in mind that although the event can be repeated, you’ll need to add tickets for each individual instance of the event.

But, if I understand correctly, in my case I would like the front-end user to first choose the event (English Lesson) then choose the date.

You are correct. The events could all be named English Lesson, but as mentioned about they would each need to have tickets added.

Not directly. The best we have for now is the demo link I provided above.

    Cheers,
