MemberHi HK,
We actually have two event registration plugins, Eventbrite Tickets and WooTickets. We’d like to make a booking plugin like Weezie describes sometime in the future. If you’d like something like that, we’d love to have your vote over in our UserVoice forum.

MemberHi Bill,
Thanks for getting in touch and for your interest in Events Calendar PRO.
does Pro let me turn off the Month/Year drop downs since they don’t work?
There is not a way to turn off the month/year dropdowns. However, they should be functioning correctly. If they’re not working, you may be running an outdated version or have a conflict with another plugin or theme. You might also want to check out paid PRO forum for people having the same problem or post in our open Events Calendar forum. We check that forum weekly. Daily support is available to PRO users in our premium forums.
can I change the format of the listing so it doesn’t show like this…

May 8, 2013 7:00 pmAre you referring how the date and time show in the Upcoming Events widget? PRO has an advanced version of the widget which allows you to choose what information to show (example http://d.pr/i/AQfI).
Other things like changing the listing link to be above the date/time etc.
Are you again referring to the widget layout? If you know a bit of code you can customize the widgets in both the core and PRO plugins. We have a tutorial here.
Does that answer your questions? Let me know if I can elaborate further.

MemberHi Conrad,
To get a follow up email from a forum post you’ll want to check the Notify Me box under the comment box. Then you’ll get an email whenever you get a response 🙂
We do not have a release date planned for the next iteration of WooTickets. We will likely be updating it when we release The Events Calendar 3.0, but that version will not include new features like the ones you mentioned.
Best,
LeahLeah

MemberHi Ronald,
Thanks for getting in touch and for your interest in Events Calendar PRO.
Your users are able to export individual events to both Google and iCal, using buttons at the bottom of individual event pages (example http://d.pr/i/GuYg). Users can also export the entire calendar to iCal if desired. There is a link at the bottom of the calendar to do this (example http://d.pr/i/GM3w).

MemberHi JoeNative,
WooTickets uses the WooCommerce payment system. PayFast is not one of the default payment options, but you can purchase it as an extra WooCommerce add-on here.
For using WooTickets with Facebook Events and Community Events, please note that users submitting events through Community Events will not have the ability to add tickets. Site admins will be able to make tickets for those events from the site backend. Similarly, you will be able to make tickets for events imported from Facebook but only after import, and the tickets will not be reflected on Facebook in any way. Does that makes sense?
Let me know if you have any further questions.

MemberHi Keith,
Thanks for your interest. At this time our calendar does not sync with Google Calendar. You can export your events to Google Calendar, but it exports the data of that moment and does not reflect changes or events made in Google Calendar.

MemberHi Weezie – Community Events includes settings so you can have submitted events go straight to the calendar or be held as pending so an admin can review them before posting.
George – Thanks for your question. This forum is for Pre-Sales questions. Can you post your question in our WooTickets forum? Then we’d be happy to help out. Thanks!

MemberHi David,
Thanks for getting in touch and for your interest in Events Calendar. We do not have a built in way to send notifications about upcoming events. However, it is likely that a third party plugin like JetPack may work to achieve what you want. It may also require some code work, although that would be above our support capabilities to assist with.
I recommend that you download our free core plugin, The Events Calendar, and test it out to see if that will work for you. If you find a solution that works well with the core plugin, it is very likely that it will also work well with Events Calendar PRO. You also might want to search through our PRO Forum to see if someone else had a similar question.

MemberHi Weezie,
Thanks for getting in touch and for your interest in our plugins. We do not yet have a plugin that allows the kind of specific time slot booking that you are talking about. Community Events allows site users to submit their own events to the site, while our ticketing plugins (WooTickets and Eventbrite Tickets) allow users to purchase tickets for events listed on your calendar. Does that answer your questions?
If you’re really interested in a bookings plugin, you might want to head over to our UserVoice Forum and add your votes. The ability to do this kind of booking is one of our top requests.

MemberHi Jussi,
We do not have a release date for 3.0. We are working hard to make it awesome and hope to have it available soon, but we don’t have a date to announce yet. I can’t really comment on price, but I can say that buying now will give you immediate access to all the new stuff when 3.0 does come out. All of your existing settings and events will transition smoothly into the new version.

MemberHi Jaki,
I’m sorry that your post somehow got missed in our regular forum checks. Were you able to get this working?
At this time our Recurring Events feature does not allow for irregular recurrence patterns like your example, although it is commonly requested on our UserVoice forum and it may be added in a future version. At this time, there is no built in way to relate events.
In our upcoming version 3.0 there is a built in “Related Events” feature that shows up on individual event pages under the other event data. That may be helpful for you.
Again, I apologize for our oversight in getting back to you. If you have any further questions, just let us know and we’ll make sure to get them answered.
Cheers,
LeahLeah
MemberGood question. That’s definitely not something that’s built in- it would require some customization on your part, and I’m not sure how much it would entail. I recommend poking around in the PRO forum to see if anyone has done something like that. Once you have a PRO license, you can post there yourself and we’ll do our best to get you on the right track. Sorry I can’t be more definitive.
Cheers,
