GuestI am working on a project where I need users to be able to log-in as members of my site. After logging in I want them to be able to ‘book’ or reserve dates on a calendar and input info that pertains to the booking. Sort of like flight scheduling. Will I be able to use Events Calendar Pro and Community Events for this type of booking. Will the forms allow for any time of registry? And will I be able to archive these entered events for printing at a later date?
Thanks!

GuestWill the forms allow for any TYPE of registry? Like can I add a few form options that might not be the norm for an event but would be for a booking/reservation…

MemberHi Weezie,
Thanks for getting in touch and for your interest in our plugins. We do not yet have a plugin that allows the kind of specific time slot booking that you are talking about. Community Events allows site users to submit their own events to the site, while our ticketing plugins (WooTickets and Eventbrite Tickets) allow users to purchase tickets for events listed on your calendar. Does that answer your questions?
If you’re really interested in a bookings plugin, you might want to head over to our UserVoice Forum and add your votes. The ability to do this kind of booking is one of our top requests.

GuestHi!
Thanks for answering my post. In Community Events when users submit their own events to the site do they go directly to the calendar?
Thanks!

GuestI am using Woo ticket with your events calendar for a site that sells training classes. The client offers about 5 different types of classes, several times a year (usually once a month per class). Right now we are creating new events for each class date but this seems like extra work repeating the same exact class description for each different date the class is given. Do you have a solution?

MemberHi Weezie – Community Events includes settings so you can have submitted events go straight to the calendar or be held as pending so an admin can review them before posting.
George – Thanks for your question. This forum is for Pre-Sales questions. Can you post your question in our WooTickets forum? Then we’d be happy to help out. Thanks!

GuestAwesome plugin. However its vital you guys extend it with a registration system. People want to create events and then have an easy form for people to register for the event.

MemberHi HK,
We actually have two event registration plugins, Eventbrite Tickets and WooTickets. We’d like to make a booking plugin like Weezie describes sometime in the future. If you’d like something like that, we’d love to have your vote over in our UserVoice forum.
