    Hi Brian,

    I want to apologize here and get in touch- turns out I made a mistake and that string is in our plugin. The translations isn’t working properly because of a problem with the name of the translation files, causing part of plugin not to show properly in English.

    If you go to the /lang file for EDD Tickets and change the name of the de_DE files from eddtickets-de_DE.po & eddtickets-de_DE.mo to tribe-eddtickets-de_DE.po & tribe-eddtickets-de_DE.mo it should start working. This change will also be included in the next maintenance release of the plugin. Thanks for your patience and understanding!

    Hi seifenigel,

    We have a number of projects in the works to improve our localization and compatibility for folks in other countries. Hopefully we’ll have some of those available for you soon!

    We are looking into a problem with the text domain of some Community Events strings. Thanks for your patience while we work in improve our translations!

    Hello superiorns,

    I’m glad you got in touch, as moving all the way up from 1.x can be quite the task. There are a lot of exciting changes and new features since our early builds, so this is a big version jump.

    To successfully move all the way from 1.x to our current 3.0 build, you’ll need to follow two tutorials. The first tutorial will walk you through the move from 1.x to 2.0. From there you can update to 2.0.11. Then you’ll follow this tutorial to go from 2.0.11 to the 3.0 build. This may seem like a lot of hoops to jump through, but the plugin has changed drastically since the 1.x build and it’s important to update incrementally to avoid a problem. You should also back up your database before starting, just in case.

    You’ll want to read through the latest New User Primer to acquaint yourself with all the new features and settings. Or, if you’re familiar already, you might want to have the site’s owner read it over 🙂

    Depending on your site, you may also need to do some fiddling and/or customization to get everything looking right. Check out our Themer’s Guide for some tips.

    It’s probably easiest to just go through the upgrade process with The Events Calendar and then add Events Calendar PRO once you’re already on the latest version of core. If you have any trouble, drop us a line and we’ll do our best to help you out. Thanks again for your support.

    Hello centralbarkoswego,

    Your username for this site is centralbarkoswego. When you log into this site it looks just like logging into your WordPress site, but if you check the url you’ll see that it’s different. You’ve bought and paid for our plugin, but it sounds like you haven’t yet installed it on your website. You might also have a WordPress site with the username centralbarkoswego, and you’ll need to decide which site you want the calendar on.

    We have a tutorial video here that you might find useful. You’ll want to make sure you’ve downloaded both our core plugin, The Events Calendar (from here) and Events Calendar PRO from your account’s downloads page (https://theeventscalendar.com/my-account/downloads/).
